The location is prime for a weekend at the beach. You are walking distance from the beach and the Texas State Aquarium as well as the USS Lexington. The room provided just enough amenities for the weekend with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view.

I booked a 3 night stay and unfortunately had to leave the next day I reached out to the host asking if a refund was even available not demanding one and never got a response the lock to the place had issues not wanting to lock my wife noticed someone stuffed paper into the door jam so the door couldn’t close all the way

Renter received written notice prior to reserving that “No refund within 30 days”. I, as host, am penalized if I initiate cancellations. Renter was notified, in writing at time of rental to “contact rental support for any assistance related to cancellation or refund”. Host gets no access to any money. Owners are told to “avoid cancelling on behalf of guest as it results in fee assessed to owner. Renter’s only contact with owner was as he stood at condo and asked for condo code. He had first received it June 11th. I resent it and the door IMMEDIATELY opened. No other contact until he asked to cancel and get a refund as he needed to return home. Nothing else was said. Condo listed as unavailable from June 5th. Rental agency pays fees, taxes and has control of monies paid and not me. Any refund request MUST go to and be approved by company he sent monies to. Cancellation policy was sent upon rental and required he communicate through rental agency support. I could be penalized several hundred dollars were I to act without listing agency approval

This was a charming spot with a lot of potential to be great. The floors were abysmal, there is black looking mold on the bathroom ceiling, and dust in spots, like the top/back of the TV which I had to touch because for some reason TV was unplugged. Bedroom TV said there was no spectrum service and remote was covered in a sticky film. The View was AMAZING, especially after I cleaned the sliding glass door with windex that was in the closet. (Thumbs up with all the cleaning supplies available) I am NOT a clean freak, but I would NEVER let the things that I have mentioned go in the state these things were in. All in all, some VERY simple attention to details and update the dated look of the apartment and broken things (closet door broken, tub spout and tub drain broken, plank in flooring at entrance coming up) and this place would be SUPER. Great communication with host, wonderful location, priced VERY nicely, overall, we enjoyed easy access to the beach, but sighed at the state of the room.

I own the condo and take great concern about what you write. I live in Austin and pay a cleaning business to clean and maintain this unit. Clearly I am being mislead about what I was told was its condition before your arrival. I appreciate your review. As we discussed, you are the first renter to occupy this condo since I ripped out and replaced the entire floor throughout the condo due to age and construction related issues. I know it wasn't totally ready for your visit and still has minor needed improvements but all new flooring was the reason. Thanks for your patience Additional remodeling is continuing.

Wonderful weekend trip

Everything was clean, beds were comfy enough, and pool was great. The view from balcony was beautiful. And your right on the beach! Would stay here again for sure!!!

Great location, exactly what we wanted!

Our stay at this location was great. We had a relaxing and satisfying stay. The condo itself was excellent. The overall complex was doing much need repairs. I hope to stay here again.

Perfect location

This is a great location with fantastic views! The property was very quiet which was nice. My daughter loved the cozy bunk bed. The place is pretty old and has its quirks (plus construction going on downstairs- which we never heard so that was good) but that comes with the territory. Great super close private access to the beach. Condo had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home.

My friends said this place was perfect for there needs. Cozy with plenty of space to sleep 4. It features an amazing view of the USS Lexington.

Location awesome!

There's nothing quite like feeling the sand beneath your toes and listening to the calming sound of waves crashing onto the shore. The beach is a place to relax, refresh and enjoy nature at its finest.

I'm ready to move there!

I loved the condo and the location. The condo was very clean, everything in order as stated by the owner. The beach is right there and just being able to open the patio door and listening to the waves was very relaxing too.My family and I enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next year.

I enjoy sun, sea and relaxation and this property is perfect. I travel from Austin to enjoy the Texas beaches. I personally manage, remodel and vacation in my two condos. I try to provide everything vacationers might need or seek and try to assist in allowing you to be sure this trip is your best vacation on the beach. I love to travel to various beaches, far and near, so I offer to you what I expect on my personal beach vacations.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I began visiting Villa del Sol many years before buying and made my first purchase in the 80's.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

All the comforts of home....but with Texas' best beach and sun. I walk out to the waters or dip in the pool and it's like no place on earth......but yet, can drive back home within hours and not have to get on a plane, run through an airport or pay tourist prices for great foods...and fun...
