My husband and I have stayed here twice, and we absolutely LOVE the location. The farmers market and art walk are just a three-minute stroll away, and you can get to almost anything within a ten-minute walk.We stayed for two weeks and needed to work during our stay, and the internet connection was very fast and reliable. The backyard is so inviting, you can even take your computer out there and enjoy working outside. The check-in and check-out instructions are straightforward, with an automated processâso there's no need to coordinate with anyone for keys.If youâre staying for an extended period like we did, consider bringing a few extra hangers.
Loved this cute little bungalow. Great central location and close to everything. Quick walk to downtown Flag which is always fun. Bungalow was very clean with great amenities. We love staying in properties in Flagstaff from these owners and are proud to be repeat customers!
We came for a short stay to hike the many trails around Flagstaff. Even with a little a snow the cottage is within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops ( average 15 mins) The fenced yard and quiet neighborhood made it perfect for our dogs to relax as well. We will visit again.
Perfect size place with all that we would ever need and amazing location walkable to Downtown Flagstaff. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Enjoyed a cool respite in Flagstaff. Property was as listed. Worked well for our family, including our dog. Well appointed, clean, efficient check in/out. Would stay again.
This was our 2nd time staying in Ruby Red. The house has everything you need and more. Great location and very friendly neighborhood. Rich is a great host. He responds quickly. We'll definitely be back again.
Cute little place to stay in Flagstaff within easy walking distance of downtown. Private fenced back yard with seating around small fire pit. Very nice.
The property was perfect for our 10 day stay in Flag!! The place was very clean, had everything we needed and was within walking distance to many things - restaurants coffee shops, park, shopping.
Great communication with property manager!
Love the little bungalow & walking distance to town
The quaint little bungalow was perfect in many ways, location, comfort and size. The beds were very comfortable and loved all the RED amenities and how nicely it was decorated. The back yard was nice and even though we planned on using the fire-pit and BBQ pit it was a wonderful option to have. We would definitely stay here again.
Made a last minute reservation for this property and my expectations were far exceeded!! This place is cozy, quiet, comfortable, and in the perfect location for us. We had such a wonderful time. You will find everything you need in a small place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ruby Red Bungalow. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for ourselves and our dog. Lovely yard also.
It might be a little tight if more guests were staying but perfect for us. Would definitely recommend to others.
Great location, very quiet surroundings and the place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. We will also recommend it to family and friends. Cherry on top.. itâs also dog friendly. Loved the red and white theme!
We booked a three-night stay at the Ruby Red Bungalow and arrived around 10 pm. After a long day's drive, we could hardly wait to pour into bed and get some much-needed rest!
I was in the kitchen when my wife and son called me into the back bedroom. As I entered the room, they had the sheets pulled back and were staring at the bed. The sheets were visibly dirty with pet hair and dirt. I went to check the other bed and found the same problem!
My wife and son used some of our bedding to lay out on top of their bed, and I began using the supplied washer/dryer to wash all the bedding for the bed I would be sleeping in. I finally went to bed sometime after 2 am!
I contacted the host, Richard, who was very apologetic and immediately began arranging for the cleaning service to come the following morning. The downside was that we had to pack out all our belongings the next morning so they could clean.
Additionally, Richard credited us for the first night's stay because of the troubles and inconvenience. Thanks, Richard!
The rest:
Despite the rough start, we enjoyed our stay. The well-designed house allows guests to spend quality time together or relax/nap in the bedrooms without feeling cramped.
It also has a spacious private yard with a fire pit and lounge chairs. (Great for chilling out with a beer and stargazing.) The location is excellent, whether you want to hang out in downtown Flagstaff or jump on 180 and head toward the Grand Canyon.
Would I stay here again? YES.
The property is a small unit with a separate, fenced yard. My wife and two dogs stayed here for a week. While the unit has two queen beds, I'd feel cramped if we had another couple with us. But it was fine for us. One section of the fence on the west side of the property is somewhat low (about 4' tall), so I likely wouldn't let a large, adventurous dog have free rein in the yard if you're concerned about him/her escaping. The other units appear to have 6' wood fences around the entire yards, so those seem more secure. The unit is walking distance to everything in downtown Flagstaff, which is very nice. The host responded very quickly to email requests, too.
We had a wonderful stay with Ruby. It was so comfortable and a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed morning coffee in the large shady back yard. We parked our Tesla right next to the charging station (first ever for VRBO rental!) and spent our time walking downtown to shops and bars. We had 2 great meals at Josephines and enjoyed all the hospitality of Flagstaff with our dog alongside. We loved our stay. We are considering renting the Downtown Quartet next time and bringing family and friends. Rich was great about responding immediately to our texts.
I highly recommend this rental.
Thank you Richard
This place was in a perfect location, so easy to walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. Great too if you're there on a Sunday for the Farmers Market just 3-4 blocks away!
The property was clean and comfy. Loved the great mini kitchen, appliances, and coffee. The linens on the beds were so soft! Three nights was not enough. Wish I had booked for a longer stay.
We live in Phoenix with two rescue Maltese mixes. We bought homes in Flagstaff because we loved their historic charm and location in the center of things. We enjoy travel and Flagstaff is our favorite quick getaway when our homes aren't booked up. We love VRBO homes when taking trips whether they are for a weekend or a month.
The Ruby Red Bungalow is extremely well located immediately west of downtown in an enchanting neighborhood that is walking distance to shopping, groceries, and restaurants.
This property is unique due to its combination of old and new. It was constructed before the second world war, yet youâll find an updated kitchen with modern appliances, air conditioning, and Samsung Smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms.
