It was a super beautiful home and we loved the grill and hot tub. The hot tub area doesn’t have much lighting, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. The location was nice!

We had a very nice stay at this property. It was nice and spacious and a nice layout. The host was very responsive with any concerns and was also quick to reply to my requests on "local" restaurants that we could visit. We go to Bend/Sunriver at least twice a year and this was a very pleasant stay.

The oven wasn’t fully working but over all a great stay for the price and communication was great. Highly recommend.

Bikes were not all in working order. 2 of them had bad brakes which was a safety issue. One of the bedrooms had gritty stuff in the sheets so we had to wash them.

It’s very hot in the Summer and more fans are needed to cool the upstairs. Already reported but beware of the BBQ. Hard to light and some of the burners don’t work. Broiler does not work on the oven. Already reported. Maybe bring your own bikes. Several are there but not all are in working condition.

The home itself was as expected. The house was clean and in order. The amenities listed fell far short. The hot tub was broken, and this was not communicated to us before check-in. Most of the bikes were in bad shape and difficult to ride, and almost all of their brakes were in dire need of replacement. The BBQ had propane but also needed repairs. The sliding glass doors in the master bathroom were difficult to move. Overall, it looked like a house where the company was trying to get as much out of it without maintaining it properly.

The hot tub has since been fully repaired, the bicycles in question have been removed and are being replaced with new ones, and the grill and bathroom door are scheduled for attention as well. We've also refined how we notify guests ahead of arrival when an amenity needs unexpected service, so that news reaches you from us before you reach the home. Great family weekend in Sunriver

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was well-appointed, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and we appreciated that this nice house was dog friendly. We did notice that some of the bikes could use maintenance. Otherwise everything was great!

Great House

This was a perfect house for our week in October. There is a master on the main and 3 bedrooms downstairs. It’s an open floor plan with a nice fireplace, great windows and a large deck with bbq. Really a great place for a getaway. The location is quiet but easy to get to the bike path and there is a little grocery nearby. We would definitely recommend.

Location: Excellent – Great location, about a 1.5-mile walk to Fort Rock Park and Cardinal Landing.Amenities: Fair – A couple of decent frying pans, but the sheet pans were in such poor condition we purchased one to use. No crockpot or rice cooker. The BBQ was rusted and flared up while cooking. Beds were very comfortable, and the hot tub was a good size. Condition: Shower doors were difficult to open and close. Decking was rough and the railing was widely spaced which may be a consideration for families with children/small pets. The floor vent covers were flimsy where a foot or chair leg could easily fall through it by the dining room table. Indoor seating was comfortable. No screen doors on slider. The screen door on the one door was in poor shape. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was that the heat did not work when we arrived and was never repaired during our week-long stay. Space heaters and firewood were provided, but with nighttime temperatures in the 30s, they were not sufficient for a house this size. We had to move heaters around, manage turning them on and off, and often returned to a cold house in the evenings. The burden of managing the home's heat should not have fallen on guests.Because the heating issue remained unresolved for our entire stay and I did not feel the resolution was adequate, I would not book this home or another AvantStay property again.

The heating system has since been repaired, a partial refund was provided in recognition of the impact on your stay, and your feedback on the home’s condition has been shared with the team responsible for the home. Early fall at Sunriver

Nice time of year, very few children, and much quieter overall. House served our needs perfectly, the bikes were great especially the tandem, it’s a good thing my husband is a bike mechanic because they all needed help. If you travel with a dog , bring a child gate and place it at the only exit from the deck areas by the hot tub. Definitely would rent again. Oh and the beds were very comfortable.

Fun stay in Sun River

We enjoyed our stay so much at this VRBO. We had a slight issue with the door code and the master shower but the manager was very prompt in helping us out. This property suited our family of eight but the stairs at the entryway may be a bit challenging for babies or elderly. We loved the location on the quiet street and the bike paths are the best! Easy bike ride to the park and the village; you wouldn’t need to drive around Sun River if you have bikes. You can rent them there as well if you don’t bring your own. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics for cooking at home.
