It was a great place for my husband and my son and his wife and baby to spend some time before they move to New York. The separate areas were nice. It gave us a place to unwind after a day of adventure

Had a wonderful stay. The house was so clean, and so comfy. The property is beautiful, and so peaceful. Toni was so nice and very helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely will be back.

Long Island beach’s

Great stay in Long Island with 4 dinners at the beach. Perfect weather + staying at this house with the kids was like going to visit family. Thanks Toni.

This was a lovely property in a great location! We were about 15 minutes from Smith Point beach which is gorgeous, along with close (5 min) to the main shopping strip area (stop and shop, bagels, pizza). I really enjoyed walking in the mornings around the neighborhood and the skydiving jumps from the tiny airport down the block (no noise issues from the planes). The house was well airconditioned, very clear instructions and a delight to stay in. One and 1/2 baths worked well for my family of 4. Bedding and mattresses were really comfortable and the hang out space was great, along with the big table for meals. Overall a really nice stay and we greatly enjoyed it! Pictures represent the inside and outside well- the yard is beautiful and really well kept- it rained most of our days, so we didn't enjoy it much, but it was gorgeous with bunnies hopping around and lots of birds. Toni was an excellent and responsive host though we did not have any issues we needed to communicate to them.

We came on a family vacation to visit family and stayed with 6 people (4 adults and 2 small children). The house is very well keep, clean and had lots of space for all of us. The property was very well equipped and the backyard was beauitful. Everything was close by and Toni had everything you needed. The beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers were perfect for a day at the beach.Thank you, Toni we can wait to be back next year.

Montréal to Long Island

Second stay in this quiet neighborhood in this nice house with a super yard to play or have breakfast. Feels like visiting family! Well situated to visit beachs like Smithstown, Robert Moses or our favourite, Watch Hill on Fire Island taking a ferry from Patchogue 15 minutes from the rental. Our host is very easy to reach. Thanks.

What a wonderful weekend! We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. It felt like home away from home and everything that was expected was spelled out clearly. Toni is the perfect hostess…checking in with us and wishing us well for my Mon’s 90th birthday we were attending. The home was spotless…a/c’s worked great…plenty of hot water for showering…I can’t say enough good things. The home & property are truly peaceful & serene. We’re thinking of a future visit when we can stay longer and enjoy the area. Thank you Toni & many blessings as you rent your beautiful home to others.

Perfect family base

Toni is an amazing, gracious host- so communicative and helpful! Check-in and check-out were a breeze and we appreciated the cleanliness of the whole house & property. There were plenty of linens, towels, and we made use of the beach chairs (didn't need the coolers or umbrella but they were available too.) There were spices & condiments and it truly felt like home. Great proximity to Baseball Heaven for my son's tournament (30min to Brentwood fields) + grocery store/food options nearby. Quiet neighborhood too and 15-20min from Smith Pt. Beach. A/C units worked great in all rooms + upstairs bedrooms and it was so helpful to have a washer/dryer. We will definitely stay here when we're in the area again, thank you! :)

Toni was a fabulous host! She provided everything we needed, which made packing light and easy. She responded promptly to all of my questions, and I truly couldn't have asked for a better host.The property was perfect for our family of five and met all of our needs. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.The name House of Peace is absolutely fitting. The yard is filled with fruit trees, the birds are constantly chirping, and the entire property is so serene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
