Maison contemporaine située sur 1. 5 acres boisés 1 blocs du lac Michigan, juste au sud de Saugatuck / Douglas. Nous sommes situés à environ 1. 5 miles au nord de l'Fennville sortie (34) juste à côté de la promenade Lakeshore.

La maison est très moderne avec des plafonds voûtés et de grandes fenêtres donnant sur les bois. Cuisine moderne avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et des comptoirs en Corian. Full media center avec 50 'TV Plasma, entourent son stéréo et Apple TV. Marque de nouveaux meubles mi siècle de style moderne avec beaucoup de place pour tout le monde pour se détendre. Nous avons beaucoup de jeux de société et de triage pour vous tenir occupé ces jours vous n'êtes pas en train d'explorer à proximité Saugatuck / Douglas ou désactiver à la vigne ou Grues verger quelques miles de là.

Cette maison dispose de 3 chambres. 2 chambres à coucher au premier étage (lits queen) avec salle de bain partagée et chambre des maîtres au deuxième étage (roi) avec salle de bain privée et d'un balcon. Toutes les chambres ont de nouveaux matelas Beautyrest

Grand espace extérieur avec 300 m² couverts porche wrap voisine autour de pont avec bain à remous pouvant accueillir 6 adultes. Le lot est fortement boisée qui vous permet une grande intimité.

La maison est juste autour du coin du lac Michigan. Marchez jusqu'au bout de la rue pour voir les magnifiques couchers de soleil du lac Michigan ou prendre une marche ou à vélo jusqu'à entraînement Lake Shore. Une plage publique avec parking est juste en bas de la route.

La maison est située dans les bois et très isolée. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour sortir et se détendre avec des amis ou en famille cet endroit est.

Beautiful Modern Home

We enjoyed our stay in this home and loved the quiet wooded neighborhood. We were so happy that we could bring our 2 small dogs and they loved the fenced yard. The home had everything we needed during our trip.

Beautiful open floor plan, perfect location and pet friendly.

This location was quiet and away from crowds but a quick drive to all attractions. Really nice home and great neighborhood and access to the shoreline and amazing views just a block away.

Michigan Getaway

Loved this house! It was spacious, had everything we needed and the beds were amazing! Beautiful neighborhood plus our 2 little dogs were able to come too. Bob responded quickly to answer my questions. Definitely would stay here again!

Great dog friendly place to gather with friends

Peaceful and private getaway. We enjoyed the comfortable sectional with enough room for everyone to relax, the large hot tub and the fenced area for our dogs to run and play.

Family vacation

Great property for our family and pups! We loved walking on Lake Shore drive and watching the sunset. Close to all attractions the area has to offer. This is our third stay here!

The property was in a beautiful setting a short distance from Lake Michigan and cute Saugatuck Michigan. The house was very nice and well equipped. It was in great shape and very clean when we arrived. I would highly recommend it. Also, it is dog friendly.

Perfect for 3 couples

The house had everything you might need with a well stocked kitchen, wood for the fire and a place for everyone. Loved the option of a screened porch. Bedroom setup was perfect. Walk to the lake was lovely as was the drive into town. Owner answered questions quickly. Couldn’t ask for a better getaway.

Beautiful home! Great location!

This beautiful vacation home was perfect for our family of six. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, chilling on the screened in porch and making smores in the evening at the fire pit. Several beaches were a quick drive from the house. Dozens of great restaurants were nearby and the shopping at Saugatuck and Holland was perfect. Our crew enjoyed the donut pontoon boats from Retro Boat Rentals. The house was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and large screened TVs in the living room and master bedroom. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were several games onhand. Overall great rental and experience.

Summer Holiday

The property was in a beautiful location. The hot tub was outstanding, the woods view incredible and the fire pit was wonderful for sitting around and visiting. The owner was very helpful with suggestions for places to go in the area and he was informative on everything we needed to know about our stay. The place was lovely. I look forward to returning.

Family weekend away

The house was as described in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our early morning walks along Lake Shore Avenue and it was a quick drive to the State Parks to go for walks that ended up on the beach. It was a nice family get together. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Overall my family (all 30+) enjoyed their stay.

Wonderful location and beautiful property

This home is really quite the find. It is beautifully appointed, and the owners have made sure that the home has all the conveniences available for guests that not a lot of VRBOs have these days. The hot tub, screened in porch and firepit area were wonderful on the cooler summer nights. Easy to get to wineries, downtown Sagautuck, and best of all - Lake Michigan!

Terrific!

We spent three lovely days here. The house and setting are both exactly as pictured. Well equipped and very comfortable. The fireplace and the hot tub were fantastic additions to our restful time here. Perfectly situated in the woods but very close to the highway and just a few minutes to Fennville, Douglas and Saugutuck. The lake is very high so its pretty difficult to get down to the beach from the public access closest to the house, but there are many other places to get to the lake (when it isn't raining and windy). All in all a perfect getaway close to Chicago that seems a world away.

Woodsy couple blocks walk to Lake MI

Nice location in the woods a couple blocks walk to Lake MI. Many close by state parks and Oval beach about a 15 min drive which is beautiful! Enjoyed the sauna and new deck. Very little back yard with nice fire pit. House needs work. Needs a deep clean, walls and floors, bathroom tile, screen door and other. We had to clean the front porch, screen porch, deck and grill before we could use. Trash over flowing in garbage out by the street, poop from previous renters, etc. The house is great for space but not cozy. Many other dissatisfactions. Would not rent again. Way over priced.

Wonderful Saugatuk Friend Weekend House

The house is as-described in terms of location (short walk down the road to the lake), amenities & space. It's a modern nicely decorated home, the hot tub & fire pit are great outside features. You feel very secluded even though there are houses not too far away. The kitchen had everything we needed, & we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the forest & early fall weather. Short drive to Saugatuk, where we spent most of our time hiking, eating & shopping. Upon arrival we noticed & loved all the above features, but were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the interior of the house. I would guess that the cleaners did the bathrooms & kitchen, that's it. The floors were extremely dirty, we swept up two dogs' worth of hair & tons of little sticks & leaves. There were crumpled sheets in one of the closets so we couldn't tell if the sheets had been changed or not. The master bed was full of dog hair & some marks, so we washed those. The coffee tables and side tables were thick with dust. I would really recommend a different cleaning company to come & deep clean the house. There were 5 women in our group, so maybe bring an extra hair dryer as the house has only one- but that wasn't that big of a deal. If the house had been cleaner it would have been 6 stars out of 5, but it did drop my rating to 4. Bob was responsive & offered to have the cleaners come back, but we had settled in at that point & weren't sure it would really improve. Would return if cleaner for sure.

Beautiful, Private Place to Stay

This house was great. It's surrounded by trees which made it feel private, but it's also just a couple blocks to the beach for wonderful sunsets. The inside space is ideal for everyone hanging out together and the hot tub was fantastic for cool evening dips.

Modern Space

This is a great little house in the woods. The ceilings are high and the windows allow you to see out into the woods. The hot tub was lovely. We made a fire in the firepit and cooked some nice food in the open kitchen. I was really appreciative that its dog friendly - concrete floors and a little fenced in area off the back porch made it easy to hang out with our dog and enjoy the quiet.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have been coming to the area for several years and have always enjoyed the small town atmosphere. We looked for over a year for the perfect place to build our vacation home. We love the closeness to the beach as well as the privacy of the woods. We love the fact that you can have just as much fun staying at the house all week but if you want to go out or have a nice dinner Saugatuck is a short drive away.

What we enjoy most is the peacefulness of the house. The views of the woods are very relaxing and we love walking along the lakeshore or going to the beach.
