Malabar Chalet is a beautiful and centrally located home in the heart of Mohican
The Malabar Chalet is a tastefully updated historic 2 bedroom home with turn of the century wood craftsmanship, leaded glass and one of a kind accents. There is an updated bathroom and large fully furnished Kitchen. Each bedroom has its own television and there are large bay windows with views of the parks and downtown Loudonville. The massive front porch is equipped with seating and tables and is ideal for enjoying the outdoors in the day or evening. The attached driveway also provides private onsite parking.
Very beautiful place to stay. There was a farmers market on Saturday morning. Very short walking distance. Mohican Adventures was only 5 min away and we went to the ugly bunny winery which was also 4-5 min. The communication between the host and myself was great and any questions I had she gladly answered. Thank you so much for letting us stay there :)) Highly recommend booking here!
The property is within walking distance to downtown, which has many shops, food eateries, & a coffee shop. There was a farmers market on Saturday too! The home itself was very clean, & well maintained. The kitchen has the normal amenities you would need for a weekend, and the beds were very comfortable.
We stayed in the house while visiting family. It had exactly what we needed. Was a bonus that the Memorial Day parade went right by the front porch in the in the morning. Annie was great to work with. Thanks for the great stay!!
My family & I had an amazing stay at the Malabar Chalet during the Loudonville Fair. We all enjoyed coffee on the porch watching the fair open and the easy access to town. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean.
We highly recommend!
The location was perfect for doing activities locally. Right on the main street, and adjacent to the park. It was clean and the property manager was great at responding to questions. Great value as well.
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this quaint property. Immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable beds. We're looking forward to staying again on our next visit.
The property was lovely. The beds were comfortable and cozy. We walked the town and found a great restaurant and shopping. Would definitely stay again. Host was very nice and informative.
House was very nice and very very clean located in the center of a nice little town with shops and restaurants within 5 min walk if you like small town americana this is for you
This old home is absolutely beautiful. You only get access to the first floor but everything was in great shape and the location was perfect. I wouldâve liked to had access to a coffee pot and a grill but everything else you need was there.
We really enjoyed our stay, the home was spacious and perfect for our family. We had booked some activities at Mohican Adventures and it was super close! We spent a lot of time on the front porch and walking to the little shops downtown. Definitely check out Stelaâs ice cream, so yummy. The check in process was so easy and the owner sent all the details we needed. Would definitely book again; thank you for sharing this lovely home!
Absolutely beautiful home! Two blocks from a cute downtown. Rooms were nice and large. Would have liked a couple more chairs for the dining table though. We would definitely stay again.
The house was a century home that had a lot of cool features that you don't see in a modern home, from large real wood wood work to art work in the ceiling, the home had a lot of charm and was a comfortable place to spend our weekend. It was a short drive to the parks. Annie was very easy to work with and provided easy detailed instructions. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
This unit is the first floor of a cool old house on Main st. In Loudonville, with beautiful old oak woodwork. It has two bedrooms, one large and one small, a very nice living room and a practical kitchen and bath. It served our needs well, and I would recommend it highly.
This property is beautiful, spacious as well as centrally located. Spacious living room, plush towels, and comfortable mattresses. Beautiful woodwork. Front porch is spacious and comfortable. Prompt response to questions. Walked to nearby restaurants as well as to the library, museum, and park. Will plan to book again on our return visits.
Overall the property was very clean and nice. Close to everything. Unfortunately it was very close to the main road in town and sleeping was difficult due to road noise and the furnace kicking on and off. Also the bed was not to my liking.
