Cozy Cottage w/wood stove, firepit, pond & hiking trails near Snow Trails

Relax in our cozy cottage on scenic Possum Run. Watch wildlife, sunsets and starry skies from the covered front porch with beautiful west view, explore the 65 acres of woods and fields, swim or boat on the freshwater pond then grill out and sit around the large campfire circle. Gather around the handmade dining table (seats 6) for meals, games or puzzles, curl up on the large couch to watch a movie. Sleep well in a comfy queen bed or pick your bunk. Couch makes into a queen for additional sleeping. You can fill your days staying close or venture out to the many area attractions near Mansfield.

***Our rate is for 4 people. Additional guests are $20 per person. Max 6 people***

Please read the house rules "view more" posted on VRBO policy page - there's no fishing (including catch & release) in our pond but several nearby lakes offer fishing.

We had a 3 night stay our time there was perfect all we had to do was get our food to eat. Everything else that you needed was provided I would love to come back there in an instant.

BEST RENTAL!!!!!!

This is the best rental we've ever stayed at!!! Owner thought of everything at this place. Communication was excellent with renter. We were close enough to restaurants and stores.,but yet far enough out for tranquility. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Perfect getaway

This adorable cottage is on a beautiful property! We loved having our coffee in the gazebo watching the sun come up over there pond. Host was super responsive and there were great personal touches!

Great Place to Stay for Mid-Ohio

This property was AWESOME! It was a perfect space for my family. Kris made sure we had everything we needed and more. Our main reason for the stay was to attend race events at Mid-Ohio. The track was easy to get back and forth to. I would definitely stay again!

Early Fall Weekend

Wow! The property is as advertised and we ran out of time to enjoy the hiking on the property. The firepit, indoor space, pond, boats, kayaks, corn hole, tranquil property was perfect for our weekend with family. Thanks for being top notch!

Great family get-a-away spot!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! There was so much for our family to do; paddle boats, kayaks, swimming, roasting marshmallows on the fire pits, hiking, camping, etc. The house was fully equipped with any amenity one might need. The owners are wonderfully attentive. They even gave us a tour of the beautiful, sprawling property. We will definitely return!

Adorable and well-stocked cottage

Very comfy place for a weekend stay. It has everything you need and is very clean. We didn't get a chance to explore the property because it rained. It was very pleasant for staying in and watching movies. Thanks, Kris!

End of Summer Getaway

What a great property. The cottage is so charming and functional and the lake has so much to offer. My husband, my teenage son, one of his friends and I were able to relax, appreciate nature, and have a lot of fun . The owners were friendly and helpful and the sunsets were beautiful. We definitely want to return to this one!

Willow Cabin

Great cozy place close to the slopes! Worked wonderful for our family and the woodstove was a huge bonus to warm up to after a day of skiing and tubing. Would definitely consider staying here again! We would love to see all this place has to offer as we did not get a chance to venture out. Beautiful pond and gazebo across the street as well. Thank you for sharing your place with our family! ❤

Friendly Family Fun

Can't go wrong here. This very clean cottage has everything for your stay. Just bring your food and drinks. Canoe, paddleboat and kid's kayaks big hit with three grandsons. During our stay, the boys were too busy at pond to accept host Mike's generous offer to tour entire farm or explore. The firepit and s'mores got them out of the pond though. Mike is a very friendly host willing to help make your stay a pleasure. Would return anytime,

Great getaway

We loved this property and it’s amenities. One thing to consider and be very careful of is its proximity to the road. With little children or even teens, just be careful. The speed limit is 50/55, and cars definitely go that speed. We started going to the right of the house so that we were closer to the flat part of the road - the house is near a curve, so there’s a blind spot near the driveway. Otherwise, great stay and getaway!

Perfect Getaway!

This is such a cozy little place that allowed us to disconnect from the world for a little while. Close to gas stations and food while capturing the woodsy vibe. We loved it!
