Private Casita w desert landscape and great views.
New home w attached casita w separate entrance, handicap assessable. Kitchenette and full bathroom w walk in shower. Unbelievable desert sunsets and wildlife, to enjoy while lounging on the turf. Quiet location. Lots of parking space. Easy traveling roads to property. Lots to see and do within close miles. Rodeo at the famous Roadrunner 1.5 miles away, Saturday nights. Sedona 1 1/2 hr away. Cave Creek- a neat south western vibe town 25 miles.
The property was exactly as we expected from the listing and the hosts were responsive and so kind! We will definitely stay here again when we come back!
Had a quick weekend trip to run the Black Canyon trail. Perfect location to explore this part of AZ. Very clean. Well appointed. Extra touches made it perfect to get some R&R.
Carol and Jarrett are great hosts and nice people. Pictures are representative of the casita. When you arrive the casita is behind the garage.
They were doing some landscaping upgrades while I was there.
The AC is oversized so no worries that us cold weather people will melt in the heat.
I was there for a week long event at Ben Avery sports park. The location is about 12 miles north of Ben Avery, but it only takes about 20min driving. I will likely stay here again if it is available.
There is about 1/4 mile of dirt road to get to their place. There are a couple of spots with limited visibility so go slow for safety and keep the dust down for the neighbors. I donât think people will have any problems with the road, unless your car has been significantly lowered. No 4x4 needed, I noticed a corvette in one of the neighbors garage.
Carol is so welcoming, easy to contactPrecious studio, bigger than expectedClean, FRESH,comfy bed, amenities beyond the normLocation sereneEasy to locate off main hwyDef stay here again
PROS: The room itself was clean and cozy. Property manager was great, awesome communication, and very patient. It was properly located for my needs. Would stay here again.CONS: The first one is most important and not the fault of the property owner. The property is located on an undeveloped road, and during my stay there were torrential rains and some of the road was almost washed out. Thankfully it wasnât a problem, but the little sub compact I rented barely got the job done on some of the roads. If I had rented even a small SUV it wouldnât have even been a concern. The wall between the casita and the owners of the property is thin. When I was in the bathroom I could hear conversation, and a loud recording of âMan On the Silver Mountainâ by Rainbow. That part was actually kind of cool. A renter has no control over the climate control. It is set at 76 degrees which is fine, but the way the vents are arranged when the air conditioner comes on it blows loud and hard right down on the bed. I would have liked to have control over the fan speed.Honestly, these cons are minor in my estimation. I just wanted to be thorough in my review. As I said, I would gladly stay here again!
This was the perfect place for us while we went to a wedding in the area. Very clean and had everything we needed as far as accommodations and comfort. The hosts were very friendly and helpful advising is to where to go locally. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!
This casita was easy to find and the check-in went smoothly. Super clean and comfortable. We loved sitting outside enjoying the beautiful view. The hosts were available to answer any questions and they were great. I would definitely recommend this casita.
Carol was quick to respond to our questions. Quiet private spot with all of our needs met for the short amount time we spent in Arizona. All was good but we did not like the mattress because it is too soft. If clean is important then this is the perfect place.
Impeccable Cleanliness, Welcoming Hosts, and an Inviting Space
We had an lovely stay at this desert Casita! The place was spotless, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. With its high ceilings, the space felt expansive and airy. The kitchenette, though cozy, was thoughtfully-equipped and featured elegant cabinetry. The shower was generously sized and enjoyable, with lovely fixtures adding a touch of luxury. The entire space was thoughtfully decorated, creating a calming and inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like we were the very first guests to enjoy this delightful haven.
Had everything we needed/wanted (kitchenette was excellent) and was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Easy drives to N AZ hikes. Hosts were gracious and communication was great. FYI the last few roads are a bit rugged, but no big deal if you take it slow.
This property and its friendly helpful owners never disappoint. I highly recommend. We have been here a few times and always leave satisfied with the experience.
Very cute and clean! Itâs difficult to get good driving directions to but once youâre there itâs good. No washer and dryer and the refrigerator is tiny but itâs comfortable and worked well for us. Carol is great and responds to your questions quickly.
We could not have dreamed of a more perfect home base for our first trip to Arizona! Comfortable and clean with spectacular views. Our hosts, Carol and Jarrett, were welcoming and friendly. We hope to make many more visits to their beautiful place!
The Casita is like a brand new high-end hotel suite. We really enjoyed sitting on the lounge chairs just outside the Casita and watching the sunset. Very secluded, great landscaping and views. Hosts were great...recommended some wonderful places to visit.
This property was just what we were looking for! We were coming in for a wedding and wanted to be close to the wedding venue and not have to drive super far. We were a 5 min drive away which was perfect! The hosts were super nice and flexible with our unique situation. If we ever need to stay in the area again, we would be happy to be repeat guests.
We are originally from Minnesota. Moved here to Az in 2012. Love it and enjoy showing guests Az living, and meeting new people. We are outdoorsy, friendly and welcoming!
We originally owned 15 acres in Mn, and once we moved to Az, we wanted to live in the desert, w land, where the stars are bright, the wildlife all around, and the beautiful sunsets. With the quietness of country life.
