Nature's Hidden Treasure - GOODYEAR LAKE WATERFRONT - This is truly a private setting on a large cove on the northwestern shore of Goodyear Lake. It is nestled on 1.3 acres that is graced with mature trees. Guests enjoy fishing along the 600 feet of level private shoreline, the fishing is great. This section of the lake is well known for extremely good bass fishing and kayaking. Goodyear Lake has a wide variety of fresh-water fish.

New for 2024 your host has made a wonderful new addition to the property. Guests will enjoy the large 20 x 14 screened in porch as your outdoor living room! Overlooking the private waterfront it is ideal for outdoor dining and relaxing, there is a ROKU TV and heater for the cool summer evenings. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrises which are particularly beautiful from the screened in porch.

From the wonderful screened in porch you can enter the house through the kitchen or the sunroom. Hardwood flooring gives a warm ambiance throughout the living room and sunroom. The sunroom is another wonderful place to enjoy vast views of the waterfront or get some work done on the large table desk with views of the water. The kitchen has an eat-in breakfast nook; there is also a dining area in the screened in porch. The living room is large and very spacious, lots of room to sit back and relax. Enjoy a movie on the large smart TV! There is an extra sleeping space in the back, private part of the living room. There are 3 bedrooms all located on the 1st floor, along with 2.5 bathrooms.

Nature's Hidden Treasure is a very user-friendly, 2,000 square foot home, all on one level. The waterfront is also user-friendly - just slide your kayak into the water from the gently sloping lawn. Kayaks are not provided however there is a great shop you can rent from.

Guests at Nature's Hidden Treasure receive a 10% discount at www.CanoeandKayakRentals.com which is 1 mile north on NYS Rt 28. You will also receive Free Delivery for kayak rentals! Fishing poles and tackle available for rent too.

Note: this part of the lake is great for an awesome water view, fishing, and paddle sports, but the shallow water and soft lake bottom are not conducive for swimming. Swimming can be done in the larger part of the lake where it is deeper.

Beautiful and Comfortable

The location is very convenient to Cooperstown Dreams Park. The view is spectacular. The lake, the hills, the rolling fog. We watched fireworks over the water on the 4th of July. The porch is such a pleasant place to sit on the fresh air, listen to the frogs, there's a fan, the screens are easy to see through and surrounding you. We were there during oppressive heat and humidity and were very grateful for the air-conditioning in every inside room. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 showers, a full kitchen, and lots of living space for spending time together. It was very comfortable for 5-7 of us. The owner, Gary, is extremely communicative and friendly. He had wonderful recommendations for places to eat, canoe and kayak rentals and other activities. He even taught my kids how to play a game at the house when we arrived. He was available during our stay but we didn't see him again until the day we checked out. He responded quickly when I had questions before and during our stay. Wish there had been a canoe or kayak on site for quick water access without having to go out... Our timeline was super tight to make plans for renting. The water right there isn't suitable for swimming and would be difficult to fish with all the lily pads. We would definitely rent this place again! Wonderful experience all around. Thank you!

Beautiful stay

We have stayed for a week and it is absolutely beautiful! About a 20 min drive from Asv. The owner is very nice and if you need anything during your stay he is here for you. Ac in every room, extremely clean, and comfortable beds. We rented kayaks from the local rental store. They delivered for free! We spent a lot of time on the water. We launched from the front yard! Worth every penny!!!

Nature's Hidden Treasure - Cooperstown Dream Park Week #8

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Nature's Hidden Treasure and I must say, it was a top-notch experience. The cleanliness of the property is truly exceptional and the spacious rooms are ideal for a comfortable stay. But what really sets this place apart is the breathtaking lake views. Waking up to the tranquil sight of the water each morning starts each day with peace and tranquility. The property is also rich with diverse wildlife, providing a true nature experience. From the ducks to the chirping birds and the frolicking deer, there is no shortage of animal life to marvel at here. It truly feels like you are immersed in the heart of nature. Aside from the natural beauty, the location is also incredibly convenient. The baseball fields are a stone's throw away, making it the perfect place to stay when attending games or tournaments. And, of course, the Baseball Hall of Fame is just a short drive away making it easy for guests to take in some history and culture. I cannot speak highly enough of the host Gary H. He is welcoming and accommodating, always happy to answer any questions you may have throughout your stay. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring a comfortable stay for his guests is truly remarkable. Overall, my stay at Nature's Hidden Treasure was nothing short of exceptional. The beauty of the surroundings combined with the comfort of the rooms and the friendly hospitality of the host made for an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
