The West Barn is the ultimate getaway space- rent one side of the barn, or both! This listing is for the Southview space that features two master bedrooms + a queen suite, a silo converted to living space, Indoor hammocks, a giant round bathtub and all the Hygge feels! Creative spaces are our specialty- you will feel it when you walk in!
This space is great for a couples getaway, or up to 6 guests for a comfortable retreat.

You will see myself or farm helpers daily on property caring for the farm animals, garden etc. We love to say hi when we see our guests, please do the same!

Quiet neighborhood in the country. Aside from the on property neighbors, closest neighbors are about a half mile away

You have full private access to the ‘Southview’ space in the West Barn.

You have shared access to the loop around driveway with other guests staying on property at the farmhouse or the ‘Highbanks’ side of the barn. It’s a large driveway with ample parking.

You have shared access to the animals and outdoor spaces on property- THERE IS PLENTY TO GO AROUND!

The Southview space is a part of the West Barn on the RW How property. With intentional unique design, this space was created to be the ultimate getaway space for you and your friends or family! It features creative spaces, rustic boho decor elements throughout and is the perfect place to retreat after a day of exploring Western New York and Letchworth State Park. We want your initial reaction when you walk into the silo to be, “ OMG" as you immediately understand the meaning of Hygge.

The second half of the West Barn and the Silo addition make up this Southview space! An incredible countryside getaway featuring amazing views- both in and outside!

The silo features a downstairs sitting/living room space that is also the main silo entry. The upstairs of the silo is where you will find the Sunrise Suite- guaranteed to give you an unmatched view in the morning hours, right from bed! The bed rests on a custom concrete platform centered under a giant wood beaded chandelier. The Sunrise suite is also home to a private work-from-home nook complete with a desk and a hammock to catch some Z's on your lunch break!

The Silo opens into the West Barn where you will find a King Suite with an en suite bathroom, along with an additional bedroom with a queen bed. Across the hall from the queen bedroom you will find the main bathroom with a tub like no other.

For this space, we salvaged many elements including the ceilings, much of the decor, accent walls, the silo, nearly all chandeliers and the staircase elements. The barn beams and logs were saved from old barns on our property and incorporated into the space wherever possible. After 5 minutes, you will forget you are in the barns and feel completely transported.

As you enter the main living spaces you will be amazed at the amazing views from the garage doors that welcome the natural light & morning sunrises. As weather permits, enjoy the doors up for an open air concept.

Chef’s Kitchen!! The kitchen is complete with black stainless appliances and is fully stocked for your convenience with dishes, serving ware and starter cooking supplies like spices. We include items like a crock pot, air fryer, immersion blender to make your chef experience even more convenient!

The kitchen and main living room have an open concept with a live edge wood bar for eating, an enormous locally made island and living room seating overlooking a faux mantle and smart TV with apps such as Netflix available.

The view of the East lawn also leads to the pasture where in the summer and fall you will more often than not, find some of our farm animal friends grazing their days away! You may greet them at the green gate with a slice of bread (one per day, please!) and they will soon become your bff's...
Some other animals live in the animal barn on property year round and will be happy to meet you and nibble on your compost or any other vegetarian snacks you offer her!
The ladies at the Chick-INN will provide you with fresh eggs daily (summer+fall only)!

Western NY fun fact: there are more barns and farms and cows than people making the cow to person ratio in this county about 3:1. Moo! Make sure you ask about meeting our cows and making their day with a treat! Farm tours are available as an optional enhancement!

Incredible views of Letchworth State Park & the countryside! Wonderful sunrises and sunsets that often times include incredible sky colors and morning fog! Enjoy Countryside living at it's best!

There are two rental space options on the Rw How property in total- This one- SOUTHVIEW at the West Barn, as well as Highbanks at the West barn (these two spaces can be combined to make a larger space if you prefer to rent both). Each rental option has it's own private entrance and space, as well as parking area. You can enjoy your neighbors or have a more private escape in your own space. Shared areas include the outdoors yard area, and there are 2 separate fire pit's available for use.

Laundry in the Southview space is available upon request.
