Absolutely stunning! Michelle was an amazing host. My family and I couldn’t not have asked for a more wonderful and magical time at the Frogmore Cabin. We all left with new beautiful memories I’m sure we will share for years to come! Thank you once again Frogmore and Michelle!

Wonderful Galena Cabin

The cabin was just as described in the listing. It was a wonderful spot for our family Thanksgiving. Would definitely recommend the property and the owners if you are looking for a relaxing stay in Galena.

Golf Trip

Very impressed with the host and property. Very clean and well maintained property. Perfect for our couple day golf trip. Host was very friendly and helpful. Had a great experience! Can’t wait to make it back.

Beautiful cabin with stunning views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this sprawling oasis. The property owners did a fantastic job of communicating with us which made the check in and check out process a breeze. The home is very well maintained and offers an absolutely beautiful setting. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect cabin for a girls weekend

We had such an amazing time staying at this Cabin, and it was everything we were hoping for. The way the owner decorated the place made everything that much better. Would recommend and stay here again! Thanks for having us!

Wonderful Experience

We traveled to Galena for a few days with friends and family. The cabin had beautiful views, was extremely clean, and had everything we needed! The kids (ages 5-7) were excited to explore and enjoyed every room in the home. It was close to town and the community center. We had a great experience and made some wonderful memories!

Beautiful property

This house is as beautiful as in the pictures inside and outside. The views are even better in person. The home is very comfortable for a group of 10 people with enough beds and sitting areas for relaxing or having dinner. Some of the mattress could use a replacement and the cleaning crew could do a little better job dusting. Overall we were very happy with the stay and would definitely return.

What a wonderful weekend! Home was amazing! Beautifully decorated, so much space, everything we needed in all the rooms and then some. Michelle answered texts instantly when there was a question. So much to do! We kayaked in the Galena River, shopped downtown, swam at Owners Club, saw the waterfall, cooked together and played games at night at the big table. We are a family ranging from age 2-68. So nice for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom. One negative- we had to leave :) Thank you for a very memorable weekend!

Wonderful weekend at Frogmore!

Our group of 7 (60 yr old) college girlfriends had an awesome time staying at this beautiful home. Plenty of room to sleep 7 for our 3 night stay. We even thoroughly enjoyed staying in & cooking together 2 of the evenings, including barbecuing on the grill. The kitchen has most everything you need to prep a meal & there is ample space to relax inside or enjoy the lovely outdoor area. Beautiful attention to detail in this home makes it a pleasure in which to stay! We were also able to reserve transportation to/from downtown Galena with a local company which worked out very well. We totally recommend Frogmore & hope to stay here again!

Family Christmas Weekend

We traveled to Galena during a winter blizzard. When we arrived at this beautiful log cabin, I immediately knew that it was worth it. The snow covered view of the rolling hills was a picture perfect. The home was comfy and cozy with plenty of space. Had everything we needed to cook/bake for a group of 10 people. A great home for our family to gather and spend time together. The host was fantastic! Very good communication and was as accommodating as she possibly could be. The weekend couldn’t have been any better. Highly recommend this property 10/10!

Lovely property

We had a wonderful family trip to Galena. This property was exceptional. We spent most of our time in the main living room, enjoying the fireplace, the Christmas tree, and the incredible view. The home decor had so many lovely touches (the room with trundle beds could not have been more charming! Our daughters loved it!) We were traveling with 5 children, including a newborn, and this home had everything we could need. We loved having access to the Owner's Club indoor pool. We used the kitchen to make meals (ran to the nearby country convenience store to get groceries) and enjoyed the short drive to downtown Galena to walk around and dine as well. The location was just right! So many special memories were made at this lovely home! Michelle was wonderful to work with, answering all our questions quickly and kindly. We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house

The house is beautiful with large windows, fantastic view and a lot of light. Property owner is great, easy to get in touch with. Kitchen is well stocked but one of the stove burners was not working and for some reasons it was taking a long time to warm it up. Not enough pillows and blankets for kids bedroom. Sewer smell would come and go, especially in the master bedroom. One of the bathrooms on the 2nd floor was leaking. Overall house is beautiful but needs little more TLC!

Thanks for your honest review, Anna. I would love to address the above review for future guests as we have poured our hearts into this cabin and will continue to do so! Anna’s group came immediately following historic Winter Storm Elliot and like millions of other homes, our cabin had plumbing issues and frozen pipes which caused the leak and smell issues they experienced. All is repairs and inconveniences have been addressed. This is a new rental and we are working everyday to make it a fantastic experience for our guests.

Best Weekend Getaway for My 40th Birthday!

I was originally looking for a place to rent for just two of us to celebrate my 40th birthday until I saw this house. In that moment I could picture it filled with friends from various areas of my life, all together under this giant roof for one weekend. Luckily for me, my friends agreed so we booked it for 3 nights in mid-September. The house is even better than pictured, and a perfect place to share with a large group. We had 12 adults total, some overlapping by leaving earlier or arriving later than others so the max we ever had at one time overnight was 10. The house allowed enough room for together time and moments to be alone. People who wanted to be up early were up early, and those who wanted to sleep in or nap had the space to do so. The game room allowed for extra space if the weather wouldn’t have cooperated, and the bonus fridge / freezer it offered was definitely used! The hot tub and fire pit were also big hits, and we loved the outdoor grill. The kitchen also had everything we needed to cook multiple meals together, while also being close to so many restaurants and businesses for when we wanted to dine out. We easily did laundry after activities like the goat walk or horseback riding, and the dish washer pretty much ran around the clock. The beds were comfortable (even the trundle mattresses!) and the shower pressure on the first and second floor were incredible. All in all the weekend was wonderful and my only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!

Our stay at Frogmore did disappoint! Spacious, beautiful views, comfortable beds, and great location. We stayed to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and not only did we enjoy our stay but our hosts recommended some great places for us to check out. We would absolutely stay again!
