Beautiful house

We loved the house and the location. There were broken items: towel rack, door knob, hand towel racks, ice makers We lost power due to weather and called the manager company and never received a call back.

Beautiful

One of showers did not work and they didn’t come out to fix it. Also the windows were dirty, the pool wasn’t heated so we didn’t get to enjoy it. The amount of money we paid we shouldn’t have these issues. Other than that we still had a nice family get together.

80th Birthday Celebration!

Very nice and great location. Everything you could want in an island getaway. Gourmet kitchen, fully equipped, comfortable beds and all well-furnished. The Spa doesn't heat but otherwise a very nice property.

What a view

If you're looking for the perfect beach home this is it. Not only does it have amazing views, close to the boardwalk and plenty of rooms. The houat has an elevator which was perfect for all the groceries. The only reason why I can't give this 5 stars is because the down stairs ice maker wasn't working, and we had to call maintenance on a leak from the AC in the game room, but most of all the fridge wasn't cooling. I called maintencenon Saturday was told someone would come and no one did. Food went bad by the time we realized it wasn't working so we had to restock and use the small refrigerators and freezer. I am so grateful the house had extra small refrigerators. On Sunday before leaving we got late checkout, but whoever we spoke to didn't pass the message and housekeeping showed up when we weren't ready. All in all small things but this won't deter me from staying here again. Hopefully by then the fridge will be fixed. Can't wait till next summer! Beautiful home my family loved it. Thank you!

Not worth the price

When I pay the amount of money that I did for a beach front house, I expect to have the basic things to go to the beach. The house doesnt have beach-pool towels, beach chairs, nor shades. We had to buy everything. The companies that rent beach equipment, dont service the area, because it is in the middle of nowhere. The floors were very dirty, the fridge takes a full day to cool drinks. The house looks new, but is not high end, for what they are leasing it for. There are much better places in that area for a couple thousands less.

Wonderful house!!

We had an amazing time at “All decked out”. It's a great house for our group with room for all. The grandkids loved having the pool and the game room for after the beach. The location is great and love the views. We'll definitely be back next year!

All Decked Out - NOT

This house is lovely but SSVR needs to step way up as a management company. This house was advertised with 2 ice makers. One of the two is completely broken and was unplugged when we arrived. The second one makes very little ice (slowly) so we had to go and buy ice every day. The ocean front master shower did not work. The service tech from SSVR who came out said the part needed was out of stock at Ace and he was too busy to drive to Corpus for the part. That left us sharing a bathroom with the room next door for our entire stay. Housekeeping left only 9 bath towels total for a 5BR/5BA house and we had 14 guest. We requested more towels but they never showed up. There were two blow dryers in the whole house. One would expect a blowdryer in every bathroom when you are paying $8K for 4 nights. I've heard SSVR changed ownership 2 months ago. If I were a homeowner giving them 20% of my earnings I would be angry. SSVR should have the ice makers repaired, provide plenty of towels for all guests and a blowdryer for each bathroom and when a shower doesn't work - offer a discount on the rental. We paid for 5 bathrooms and got 4 and we all know how important having a private bathroom is to guests.

Amazing view!

We do a week at the beach for the kids and grandkids every year and this house was perfect for everyone! View was amazing, the boardwalk was right by the house, and the grandkids loved the pool! We have already booked again for next year !!

Awesome house - management company not so much

The house is very nice - 5 bedrooms and tons of bathrooms. Great pool and access to beach - very well appointed and taken care of. Silver Sands management company was an issue - took 2-3 contacts each time to get a response - Refrigerator was not working and they did get someone there to repair it. Be aware that they charge a 5% "fee" to use a credit card - in my case cost me $200 just to use my card

Beautiful location but had multiple issues

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and home was beautiful, however we had issues with the refrigerator not working for 4 days, spoke to multiple customer service reps with limited help, the surround sound didn't work, ordered a pack and play but did not get it till second night, homeowner accused us of late checkout and driving on property, we were no longer in town. There was a roach in the pantry, had a sand storm mid-week and pool never was cleaned. There was an odd smell in the house that permeated clothes even when home. No resolution to any of these complaints other than trying to blame the guests.

Christmas family Trip 2020

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All Decked Out was a beautiful property, however there was a smell when we arrived that was a chemical type smell & permeated through our things that we had to wash once we returned home. We paid for the pool to be heated for 3 days & was only able to swim in warm water the first night. The spa never heated which was very disappointing, after several calls & one visit from a maintenance person the problem was never solved which was also very disappointing. After requesting a call back from Katie the manager I have still not heard back from Katie or anyone at the management company. The house was beautiful, the furnishing, decorations are very nice & it was very comfortable for our family Christmas together. Bring extra hand towels, kitchen towels & washcloths as there were only one per bathroom & one kitchen towel. There were plenty of bath towels & we brought our own beach towels. There was no hand towel or paper towels in the half bath on the third floor. There were ants in the shower on the ground floor bathroom. I was going to speak to Katie personally about all of this & not post on the review, however no one has called me back. We had a wonderful time other than the issues I addressed in the review. Mainly Disappointed in paying for a service of heating the pool & not getting what we paid extra for & no resolution while we were there & no response since I left a message after our return. Overall other than the chemical smell & the pool issues it was a Wonderful stay & would recommend if theses issues where addressed.

Will be back despite some disappointments

This was my second time renting this house and I will still rent it again, but there were a few things that needed to be taken care of on this last trip to make it another great one. We were without any washcloths in this 6 bathroom house, (called property manager and there was a quick response that they would get some right over, we never got them) bathrooms could have been cleaner, trash outside had not been removed and it was overflowing with a stench and maggots covering it. Needless to say we did not take the trash out to the road. The hot tub also wouldn't heat like it did our first stay either. Hopefully on our next trip we'll see improvements. The home itself is beautiful and a great location!

Amazing/Perfect Property- Terrible Property Management

Our Rental was Perfect. 3 stories of comfort, entertainment for all ages and relaxation. I do not have one negative remark. It was amazing. The Silver Sands Property Management however....... We were trying to call all weekend to receive some clarification on how things work. After the 3rd day and 14th attempt to reach them we gave up. They completely ignored all calls, even when transferred to the after hours care attendant (who finally answered on the last day but could not get to us until after our checkout time the next day). We could not get the kitchen TV to work properly or the Hot tub. Our stay would have been a 10 out of 10 if not for the neglect of management. We will probably seek a different house next time simply because of the people managing these Vacation Rentals.

Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice and a perfect setup for our large group. However, the floor was not clean. Our feet were black on the bottoms from walking on it. The two 50 lb ice makers they tout were both out of service. When I called the service about it they said they had no idea when or if anyone would come fix it.

Beautiful Oasis

Coffee on the upper deck every morning was relaxing and the kitchen was a dream. We did have an issue with the sliding door not wanting to come open and the elevator went gone rang all night long. A man came to fix it and ended up having my husband fix it for him. (For hours) I would still recommend this house to anyone and would for sure stay again. The beds were so comfortable and the spacious showers were wonderful. The kids had so much space to play within our site upstairs. We played games and ate big dinners every night. Thanks again for the amazing stay. We will be back!

Magical!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very clean when we arrived! Beaches closed during our stay to cars. But we were still able to use a golf cart to haul stuff/people to and from EZ ups. We left EZ ups UP the whole time, which was great. Recommend Elevator deposit, kitchen on 3rd floor! We used it all the time. Kids loved our “own pool” and play room. Management was called about an ice maker in kitchen not working and the man came within an hour. The ice maker on 3rd floor never didn’t work after 2nd day, but the bottom floor one was able to keep up with our needs. I used the concierge service to buy “some groceries” like Fruits- veggies- soft breads-eggs-dairy- frozen and some cupcakes! They did a great job and all was waiting for us when we got to the house! We loved our stay! Thanks to all who made it happen and it shows!
