The Schooner Villa by the Bay is a newly remodeled Solar-Powered 3 bedroom just minutes from the bay & heart of Cape May. The Villa offers 4 tv's, an open concept living room, coffee bar, washer + dryer, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful modern beach decor, and all linens are provided.

Amenities: PRIVATE Jacuzzi, beautiful stamped concrete PATIO w/ outdoor kitchen, furniture, and outdoor shower.

Just a short walk or bike ride to the beautiful Delaware Bay, The Schooner Villa by the Bay is a perfect embodiment of the beautiful Cape May region with its newly renovated coastal farmhouse decor.

The space is filled with unique antiques + modern amenities.
The Villa has a large open floor plan in the dining and entertainment space making it an amazing place for a family to gather + relax by the Bay.
Our favorite space is the backyard which is perfect for grilling, dining+lounging!

Situated on our beautiful stamped concrete patio is the outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining table, outdoor living room and Hot Tub Gazebo. The Gazebo is fully enclosed and houses a 4-5 person Jacuzzi making it comfortable + peaceful all year-round! When you're all done coming in from the beach or going into the Jacuzzi, the large private outdoor shower is great for a rinse.

HD Fire TV's in EACH room! (ESPN+, Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu available so you don't miss a thing!)

We also provide access to 4 bikes ( 1 Tandem bike, 1 adult trike, and 2 Adult/Teen bikes), a rolling cooler, 6 beach chairs, water guns, beach games, and inflatable chairs and loungers for the water!

Guests have access to a large shared driveway, a private fully fenced and gated backyard with all of its amenities, and the main home. There is a fully fenced off detached guest house on the south end of the property that you do not have access to. It has its own access from the street and in no way affects or shares your private amenities below. (The last picture on our profile shows an overhead view of the property and parking). There are 5 cameras on the exterior of the home overlooking entrance points to the property for our insurance requirements (one facing the patio gates, two overlooking our shed and side yard, and two overlooking our front yard).

We would like to invite you to experience Cape May as only the people that live here can! Come enjoy the spectacular sunsets, the exceptional dining, shopping, local community pool, and all the activities Bay life brings.

Our Time at Schooner Villa by the Bay

We had high expectations for our visit and every one of them were blown out of the water! The Schooner Villa was just as spacious as it looked with very bright and comfortable rooms. If you are looking for the feeling of a home away from home look no further! These hosts have clearly taken the time to anticipate anything you could need from toiletries and snacks to things for the beach we never thought to bring. Our stay was a dream and we hope to come back soon!

Shared this rental with another couple. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The house is clean and has everything you need for a nice beach getaway...beach chairs, numerous bicycles, an outdoor shower, a large, excellent hot tub. I personally love the location...walking distance to bay side beach and just a few miles from the ocean side. Staying in a hotel would have collectively cost us more and we would not have had all these amenities. Great town and great house = great vacation.

There was 6 of us during our stay ranging in age from 3-70 and the home was very accommodating for all. We were impressed with the cleanliness as well as all the thoughtful touches such as the snacks, toiletries, and games. We unfortunately did not have good weather but we were happy to have the opportunity to utilize the covered hot tub during the rainstorms. It was a short drive to the bay which we would have enjoyed if the weather was better. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Amazingly cozy!

My sister and I picked this Villa to celebrate both her birthday and her daughter’s high school graduation. First, let me just say, the home is BEAUTIFUL. If you’re looking at the pictures on here and thinking “wow, this place is impressive”, you just have to see it in person! Ashley and Chris were very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had (which weren’t too many as there was a fabulous guide which gives all of the information needed). The only thing I will say is that I wish we could have stayed a little bit longer! But overall, fantastic hosts! A five star villa indeed.

The Perfect Beach House!

My family (2 adults, 2 young kids) stayed here for a week over the 4th of July and had the best stay! The pictures in the listing don’t do this house justice. It was even more beautiful, well decorated, clean, and spacious than we expected. The house was also the most well stocked house we’ve ever rented. Not only were all linens and paper products provided, they also had everything we could have possibly needed in the kitchen, as well as bins of “extras” to take as needed/desired (from snacks to unopened pool floats to toiletries). Another great feature was the amount of hooks to hang things on throughout the house (so convenient for drying bathing suits and towels), as well as bins and trays to store things (like shoes and jewelry). The outdoor space was nice and spacious and we absolutely loved the private, clean outdoor shower - so convenient to rinse and shower the kids in one place. The owners were very responsive to any questions and accommodated a slightly early check-in. We love the location, in a quiet residential area, close enough to any and everything in Cape May. We’ve been renting at the shore for decades and don’t often rent the same place multiple times, but we will most definitely be back here!
