With the most spectacular view of Aransas Bay of any condo in the Rockport Racquet and Yacht Club complex, Golden Gull invites you to relax on your private balcony and soak in the colorful sunrises and stunning sunsets each day of your Rockport, Texas, vacation.

Golden Gull's location within the Rockport Racquet and Yacht Club means you enjoy access to both the adult and children's swimming pools! This lovely oak treed complex is situated along Fulton Beach Road with sweeping views of the bay and access to great fishing. Have you ever dreamed of waking up after a great nights rest, walking outside, and feeling cooling bay breezes against your skin all while looking at the beauty of a seemingly never ending body of water? At Golden Gull you can make that vision and many more a reality. Sleeping up to 4 people, this home is perfect for a fun vacation with family or friends. Guests can enjoy a 750-foot fishing pier, boat ramp, boat slips, swimming pool, laundry facilities and picnic area with a charcoal grill on acres of landscaped grounds.

Golden Gull is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit that sleeps 4. The living room features adorable coastal decor, a comfortable couch, a reclining chair, and a flat-screen cable TV. The dining room table seats four people and has beautiful views of the complex. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and all the appliances necessary to meet your cooking needs.

The primary bedroom has wonderful decorations, a queen-size bed, a large dresser, and access to the balcony with breathtaking bay views. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and beautiful bay views from the window. This unit is tastefully furnished with coastal flare and has many upgrades, including complimentary Wi-Fi.

You're only minutes away from all the fun of downtown Rockport! Rockport Beach is a fun and affordable way to spend a day relaxing and swimming. Kids will also have a blast at the beach with the multiple themed playgrounds and swing sets. There are picnic tables and grills that you can set up at for the perfect beach experience. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Spend a day shopping on Market Street and an evening walking along the water. You can also enjoy fresh fish while watching the sunset over the bay at one of Rockport's many tasty seafood restaurants.

Take a drive or walk along Fulton Beach Road with its unique windswept oak trees and coastal birds. We know you will enjoy your stay!

Relaxing getaway in Rockport

The property was very clean, comfortable, had a beautiful view of the water, and a wonderful pier. (The fishing there was terrific!) The communication with the host was excellent throughout the entire process. It was a very peaceful and relaxing getaway that had everything we wanted and needed for our stay, and I would recommend to friends and family.

Great Location

Place was in great location. Love the pier for fishing. Good setup for parents and kids. Not enough towels though if we would have had my whole family of 4. One of the bathrooms had hairs on the floor so could have been cleaned a little better. Over a good experience.

Weekend getaway from Austin primarily fishing

The condo was very nice (decor, cleanliness, comfort all great); the kitchen was completely outfitted with everything we could need (we've found this can be variable with rentals). The balcony was large with a great view and always had a breeze. The fishing pier was fantastic--we have had problems with past rentals having a short and crowded pier, but this one was perfect. Few people (in late June) except at night, but there was plenty of room even then. At night it has motion lights. Caught several catfish (saw other people catch them, too), a black drum, a puffer fish. Enjoyed seeing dolphins, seabirds, a large school of jellyfish, etc. We hope to come back!

Great view!

We enjoyed staying here. The condo has a great relaxing view of the water. The pier and fishing were good but unfortunately the lights on the pier have not been completed yet. Would have made for better night fishing, but it appears they are working on it. I thought there would be laundry in the unit, but maybe I missed in the posting that the laundry facility is at another location in the complex. We didn’t end up using it, but we probably would have used a washer in the unit. Super easy check in. Communication with the property manager was easy. Price seemed good. Overall we enjoyed the experience and had a relaxing trip.

Ocean Views

We had a great weekend at "Golden Gull"! The views are amazing, the pier is one of the best in town! Well priced for a fantastic family get away. The rental had everything we needed including puzzles, games, books and movies. Things we didn't think of like blender, lantern, first aid kit, etc. It was quite and gorgeous! We did have to reach out to Kitty's and Property management to get codes, both were great to work with and very timely!

Great, last minute getaway! The Golden Gull was near great fishing with a large balcony looking out into the water. Loved the coffee table books. Comfortable property. We will be back. Great overall experience. Loved the fishing dock and the view from the condo. Beds were comfortable, and great selection of coffee table books, the "welcome to Golden Gull" book, etc. .... did love the personal touch on books, DVDs and local magazines. Great! Very professional staff member who called to make sure that I received the email.

This was perfect for us !!! We have 2 little girls so it was super easy to get to the pier and allow them to fish for a while. In fact my 7 year old pretty much spent 2 whole days on the pier fishing with dad!!

Nice vacation stay.

Enjoyed our stay there .....wish the chairs on the balcony had been taller...hard to see the water when we were sitting down! Great floor plan. For a bunch of old folks it was very relaxing!

Fabulous, clean, convenient, only drawback was it was further from "downtown" then realized and the dock was out of commission which is no fault to the condo, just due to hurricane. Loved our stay. Thank you. Wi-Fi was GREAT and all the dishes, spices, amenities needed!

The property is pretty and Rockport is on its way back. My comments are meant to be helpful, but frank. I think properties that are updating after the storm will be competitive next year and RRYC need to be mindful of that. Brandi helped me when the electronic forms didn't function. She was nice and friendly. Much better than the form??
