Railcar Suite #2 - Has sleeping for four people with one queen bed and one full size futon bed. The Kids will enjoy it!
We only had time for an overnight but very cute place to stay for the memories of sleeping in a train car. Wasn't clear that it was a check in at the office situation and not a normal vrbo lock box thing but otherwise they were very nice place was clean except a sock under the futon but nice to have a full sized bathroom and mini fridge and microwave
A heated indoor pool was advertised and it was closed for the season. The owner was super nice but there are zero amenities, very dirty rooms, and it sorely needed to be updated.
First the good. Check in was easy. The staff was friendly. A key to the property was issued and instructions on how to reach it were also given. There is a printed list of things not to do while staying there. There is a dedicated parking spot.
The not so good. You are staying in an RV park. There are no paved roads and passing vehicles raise dust. There is very little shade.
The bad. The railroad car is not insulated. Although it was 72 degrees that day, the sun heated the interior to over 90 degrees. The a/c chugged away but could not keep up. The kids had black feet from walking on the floors. Slapping the seat of the sofa bed raised a cloud of dust. The windows are painted shut and cannot be opened for ventilation. The light over the sink did not work and the only light for the entire room was from two 12-inch bed side lamps at the far end of the room.
