Lovely cottage with all the amenities we could ask for at the price and proximity to town. Would love to stay here again. Prompt communication with owner as needed.
The house was an updated older home with everything we needed. Beautifully decorated in bright colors and comfortable. Was located within walking distance of town which was great bc the weather was sunny and warm.
Quiet street with little traffic.
This little cottage is a few minutes walk to âdowntownâ Langley - shops, restaurants. Itâs a lovely neighborhood for an evening stroll. The cottage itself seems newly, nicely refinished. The outdoor seating and yard were great for relaxing.
We enjoyed our stay at this classic, updated cottage in Langley. It was an easy walk to the Langley shops and the kitchen was stocked enough to cook. We enjoyed the electric fireplace and view of the distant water from the dining table.
Nice get away from Seattle. Kitchen has everything we needed. Close to everything in Langley. Saw doe and her two fawns from the kitchen window. Very peaceful place.
Great stay. Perfect for the price and location. Easy walk to town. Nicely stocked kitchen. Outside porch needs and awning or furniture than can be dried off given the request rain of the PNW. Lovely but too couch w cushions were too wet to use. But for price Iâd stay again. Women who manages is a dear.
We just needed an easy place to meet to take a break. This was it! This is a nicer equipped kitchen than most hotel or vacation spaces. Nice local groceries and shopping so we could easily prepare nice meals. Very safe, quiet neighborhood.
This property features all the amenities you need from shampoo, bodywash, loads of soft towels, chocolates and coffee to colorful dinosaurs and toys for our young child to play with. Having a code for the door made for easy access to the property after a long drive. With
downtown Langley just a short walk away, this home had everything we wanted!
Was looking for a quiet place to think and write for a weekend. This was perfect. Itâs a small house, big enough for two, only a couple of blocks from downtown Langley. Can even see the water from the front window.
Sorry we didn't meet you Laurie. Our visit was a little unusual, with one night stranded in Port Townsend. Anyway your cottage was a delight, your devotion to maintaining evident in many ways.
Corner Cottage was near perfect: plenty of room, comfortable, easy walking distance both to downtown and folks we were visiting. I'd give it a 4.5. There was a little hiccup trying to reach the host the first day, but that was remedied and host was easy to reach after that. The cleaning could be improved a bit: coffee pot not washed, kitchen sink and bathroom tub weren't out and out unclean, but they needed scrubbing. We were greeted with a fresh bag of coffee and chocolates--always welcome. We would definitely stay again.
I was attending a wedding on the island and wanted to stay in a place close to the venue and walkable to downtown. This rental met all of my needs. The owner allowed me to arrive a little early so that I could drop off luggage and freshen up before the wedding which I greatly appreciated.
The cottage was nicely appointed with the basics.
ISSUE:
The bathroom had a very foul odor that appeared to be coming from the bathtub pipes. Even with the door closed and fan on, the smell lingered. I also kept the bedroom window open for ventilation.
I wish the owner would invest in higher grade linens. The pillows were flat and looked very used.
Cute little house. Lovely yard and deck to sit on. Deers visit! Could use a few upgrades such as a bigger bed (double to queen), and addressing the rust (?) stains in tub. (looks gross). Also a deeper cleaning. Looks clean on the surface, but lots of dust buildup in corners. And stop using heavily scented fabric softener. Non-scented or natural scent would be better for those (like me) who are chemical sensitive.
