Come and stay in this waterfront, spacious house with open floor plan, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, screened in porch, sun room and open deck located on the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes. Includes private dock and boat house with electric hook up, 17' Bass boat for rent $100/day $275/3 days $475/wk, 18' Pontoon boat $125/day $325/3days $550/wk. We have 2 kayaks for your use at your own risk right in your backyard. We do not allow children under 13 yrs of age to stay, due to some unforseen damages that have occurred. Our house is located 12 miles from Interstate 75 and the Florida turnpike in rural Inverness only 3.5 miles from historic downtown with grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and parks. (Liberty Park, Howard Wallace Park, Cooter Park, Whispering Pines Park, and Fort Cooper state park.) The Withlacoochee State Trail is a 46 mile paved rail-trail for walking and biking with access just 2.5 miles from the house.
This property is conveniently located approximately an hour and 15 minutes from Disney, Busch Gardens Tampa, Sea World, Aquatica, Universal, and both Tampa and Orlando International Airports.
If you are looking to just relax, stay at the house and enjoy fishing from the dock, kayaking, drinking coffee on the screen room porch watching the wildlife in the backyard, or grilling on the BBQ grill for dinner. There is also plenty of fishing if you bring your own boat, kayak or jet ski for the lake, nearby rivers and the Gulf of Mexico a short 20-25 miles away. There are also many public golf courses within a 30 minute drive to choose from.
There are a variety of chain and Mom & Pop restaurants, parks, museums and shops within 5 miles or just a short drive away you could visit some of our State Parks; Weeki Wachee, Homosassa Springs, Rainbow River, Hunter Springs, Three Sister Springs to name a few that are sure to please and show off our crystal clear springs and our Nature Coast, home of the Manatees and abundant wildlife to all who visit.
