Waterfront with dock on the Tsala Apopka Chain of Lakes in Floral City, FL. Fishing, boating, air boat tours, etc. Beautiful winding back roads are known for scenic motorcycle rides and the Withlacoochee State Trail, a 46-mile biking and hiking trail, mostly flat, rails-to-trail system traversing rivers and forests.

Many nearby natural springs and rivers for day trips including Rainbow Springs State Park, Three Sisters Springs - Swim w/ Manatees, Weeki Wachee Springs State Park - Swim w/ Manatees, Silver Springs Headspring.

Close to the Gulf Beaches – just 25 miles to Crystal River or Homosassa Springs, Florida and less than 2 hours to Clearwater Beach, Florida. 1.5 hours to Disney World and Orlando, Florida.

I spent two wonderful days with my granddaughter who is 12. We were so impressed with the house and the property. The owners made sure everything was perfect for us and we enjoyed all of the beautiful surroundings. I hope to go back with a friend in the near future.

Sisters Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property and appreciated the amenities and cleanliness. The property was as described and provided a very relaxing environment to enjoy the waterfront. The kayaking was great. Plenty of wildlife to observe.The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Relaxing at the lake

We had a very enjoyable time fishing and kayaking at the lake. The house is beautiful and very clean and relaxing. Would definately stay there again.

Excellent Rental

This is our second stay here! We love this rental. Very clean!! They have thought of everything you might need. It has a great fenced in yard with a beautiful backyard on the water. Lots of great places surround the home to eat with a very friendly community. We will be back!

First Class

Despite the weather from Hurricane Milton, our stay was perfect! Mark and Laurie were wonderful! Checked on us before and after the storm. Made sure we had anything we needed from a generatir, flashlights, and even glow in the dark light switch covers. Once the storm passed we made our way down to the dock on the property and took in the beautiful surroundings. Thank you Nark and Laurie for being such amazing hosts!

Lake house

The property was exactly as described , very clean we had everything we needed , restaurant's local shops nearby , Crystal river springs 25 min drive , Rainbow springs , 30 min. Bass fishing from the back yard our dog also enjoyed the fenced in yard, would stay again , great host .

Lovely Waterfront Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Hideaway. It was such a relaxing weekend. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock and the fenced in yard was fantastic for our dog! Communication was great with Mark and Laurie. Would definitely book again.

Loved our stay!

We were so happy with everything that this place has to offer, it was a perfect fit for our vacation and the owners are very accomodating. We highly recommend it for a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. Sitting on the dock in the evening and enjoying nature was a perfect way to end the day.

Couldn’t have been better!

Amazing bedding, towels, all soaps and detergents provided! Washer, dryer, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. So many good, friendly, restaurants (family owned) we got to meet the owners-you can tell they take great pride in their rental!

Perfect Fla getaway

We stay at alot of vrbo properties and this one by far is the best. Very comfortable home. High end bedding, linens and furnishings. Wonderful spacious fenced back yard and fishing off the dock. Close to the Withlacoochee trail for cyling and walking. Highly recommend this property.

The perfect getaway

As soon as we walked in it felt like home. The ambiance was warm and inviting. And the special touches like the lighting inside and out helped ease any stress we were feeling. The charming house was immaculate and we didn’t want for anything. A big thank you to the Beggs. We’ll be back.

We'll be back!

We were very happy with our rental! It was perfect for our needs. We did some fishing from the dock and explored the nearby towns. Inverness has a cute theater where we saw a community theater show one night. The living room furniture is quite comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Laurie and Mark were kind enough to leave a card, balloon, and birthday glass as we were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. They sent suggestions of things to do and checked to make sure we got in okay. We will definitely be returning for a future trip.

Perfect for a quiet getaway!

A absolutely loved my stay here. The house was very clean and comfortable and the outdoor space was just beautiful. This area can get a little dark at night, but the property was well lit (this is important to me as I often travel alone). It was so peaceful sitting outside at night. My dogs being able to join me was a HUGE plus. The hosts were fantastic. They were quick to reply to any questions, and provided a ton of things to do in the area (many of which I tried). Check in was super simple. I'd absolutely love to stay here again.

Relaxing & Peaceful

We (family of 3), live just 2 hours south, but rarely get a chance to spend time hi here advice Tampa. This was the perfect stay for us, clean and fresh with everything we needed for cooking and otherwise. Our little dog enjoyed the fenced in yard, our adult daughter took one of the kayaks for a spin, we enjoyed watching a movie at night in one of the 3 smart TVs. Loved having dinner in the screened in patio while listening to a light rain, then seeing several hummingbirds visiting the humming bird feeder just outside the screen. The garden has lots of plants that attract both hummingbirds as well as butterflies, just lovely. We enjoyed some great food at the nearby Sleepy Hollow Fish Camp, as well as exploring the town of Floral City. Who knew Floral City used to be bigger and more happening than Miami back in the day? Cool little downtown area. This was such a perfect place for us while we went tubing on Rainbow River and kayaking on Weeki Wachee. Highly recommended!

Great little fishing cottage!

This quiet property has everything you need for a weekend or a month! Better than described with a quiet neighborhood & lots of wildlife. Close to Floral city & Inverness. We will be back again!
