Waterfront with dock on the Tsala Apopka Chain of Lakes in Floral City, FL. Fishing, boating, air boat tours, etc. Beautiful winding back roads are known for scenic motorcycle rides and the Withlacoochee State Trail, a 46-mile biking and hiking trail, mostly flat, rails-to-trail system traversing rivers and forests.

Many nearby natural springs and rivers for day trips including Rainbow Springs State Park, Three Sisters Springs - Swim w/ Manatees, Weeki Wachee Springs State Park - Swim w/ Manatees, Silver Springs Headspring.

Close to the Gulf Beaches – just 25 miles to Crystal River or Homosassa Springs, Florida and less than 2 hours to Clearwater Beach, Florida. 1.5 hours to Disney World and Orlando, Florida.

I spent two wonderful days with my granddaughter who is 12. We were so impressed with the house and the property. The owners made sure everything was perfect for us and we enjoyed all of the beautiful surroundings. I hope to go back with a friend in the near future.

Sisters Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property and appreciated the amenities and cleanliness. The property was as described and provided a very relaxing environment to enjoy the waterfront. The kayaking was great. Plenty of wildlife to observe.The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Relaxing at the lake

We had a very enjoyable time fishing and kayaking at the lake. The house is beautiful and very clean and relaxing. Would definately stay there again.

Loved our stay!

We were so happy with everything that this place has to offer, it was a perfect fit for our vacation and the owners are very accomodating. We highly recommend it for a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. Sitting on the dock in the evening and enjoying nature was a perfect way to end the day.

Excellent Rental

This is our second stay here! We love this rental. Very clean!! They have thought of everything you might need. It has a great fenced in yard with a beautiful backyard on the water. Lots of great places surround the home to eat with a very friendly community. We will be back!

Lovely Waterfront Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Hideaway. It was such a relaxing weekend. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock and the fenced in yard was fantastic for our dog! Communication was great with Mark and Laurie. Would definitely book again.

Lake house

The property was exactly as described , very clean we had everything we needed , restaurant's local shops nearby , Crystal river springs 25 min drive , Rainbow springs , 30 min. Bass fishing from the back yard our dog also enjoyed the fenced in yard, would stay again , great host .

Very relaxing! Great place!

We had a great time! The house was perfect, clean, relaxing very peaceful. The area was nice. Owner were easy to contact and very helpful changing our check out day so could spend more time with our family. We will definitely rent again.

Dockside paradise

This property was amazing! We loved the dock and the house was updated and clean. The hosts were awesome and we loved hanging out in the screened in porch and eating our meals there. A perfect place and fenced in for your dog. Amazing, we would book again!

Perfect Fla getaway

We stay at alot of vrbo properties and this one by far is the best. Very comfortable home. High end bedding, linens and furnishings. Wonderful spacious fenced back yard and fishing off the dock. Close to the Withlacoochee trail for cyling and walking. Highly recommend this property.

Couldn’t have been better!

Amazing bedding, towels, all soaps and detergents provided! Washer, dryer, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. So many good, friendly, restaurants (family owned) we got to meet the owners-you can tell they take great pride in their rental!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you Laurie and Mark for such a wonderful experience! The house was very homie, warm, and clean. It made it for a very enjoyable stay. Loved the safety of the area. You have grocery stores close by, bars, trails, and a nice lake view from the deck. It's a great place to get away from your everyday life. 100% recommend this VRBO!!

great stay

The house is very comfortable. Laurie was helpful and quickly responded with any issues we had. The beds were comfortable and all the ameniites were of good quality. We used the kayaks and loved how close the house was to the bicycle trail/greenway. The back yard even made a good bocce court. I would stay there again, no problem.

Wonderful Stay!

The property was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable, well outfitted. The size of the home was perfect for 2 couples and 2 dogs. The fenced backyard allowed us to have the dogs outside without worrying about them going near the water, and we still had access to a nice dock for fishing and enjoying the views. The hosts were responsive and I enjoyed running into them at the nearby fish camp! I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a place in the area.

Perfect for a quiet getaway!

A absolutely loved my stay here. The house was very clean and comfortable and the outdoor space was just beautiful. This area can get a little dark at night, but the property was well lit (this is important to me as I often travel alone). It was so peaceful sitting outside at night. My dogs being able to join me was a HUGE plus. The hosts were fantastic. They were quick to reply to any questions, and provided a ton of things to do in the area (many of which I tried). Check in was super simple. I'd absolutely love to stay here again.

Reconnecting with family and bass fishing

Clean, spacious, water access, screened in porch, laundry, bathroom, towels. Just wonderful. Book with confidence, and enjoy your stay. Inverness and Floral City are wonderful small towns off the beaten tourist path. Quiet and refreshing. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful. They offered recommendations, and were available for help. Overall...TOP NOTCH.

We'll be back!

We were very happy with our rental! It was perfect for our needs. We did some fishing from the dock and explored the nearby towns. Inverness has a cute theater where we saw a community theater show one night. The living room furniture is quite comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Laurie and Mark were kind enough to leave a card, balloon, and birthday glass as we were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. They sent suggestions of things to do and checked to make sure we got in okay. We will definitely be returning for a future trip.
