đ¶ââïž4-min walk to Lilly Pad Village and Stanley Rapids of the Taccoa River
đ„ Cozy, warm antique gas log
đEasy drive to the cabin. Drive to the cabin is paved all the way. No need for a 4x4 vehicle.
â€ïžGreat privacy. Relax and just enjoy nature without any neighbors near by.
đŠ Cabin is located right on the famous Aska Road, and is right across the very popular Taccoa River (can mean some traffic noise, especially with the door open)
The best part about the stay was the location. It's a short 15 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge and is literally right across the road from the Toccoa river. We ate at the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant which is about 2 minutes down the road. There are tubing, rafting and kayaking locations right down the road as well. The cabin itself was good. It's a little outdated but is worth the stay.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Loved the location! 2 minutes away from the riverside restaurant and general store with yummy breakfast. 15 mins away from downtown Blue Ridge. Would definitely stay again. Tim was very responsive.
Great balance of being easy to get to but also providing solitude. I was a little worried about road noise, but it wasn't an issue. Relaxing out back, I could listen to the river and see an occasional wildlife visitor. Plenty of trails waterfalls nearby too.
The cabin was adorable! Very homey, and very clean- which is very important to me. Me and my husband enjoyed a quick get away, and would definitely stay here again!! Loved sitting on the porch listening to the river.
Great cabin. Centrally located to lots of hiking trails and falls! Close to downtown Blue ridge! Easy access with a paved driveway. The Host Timothy was very quick to respond to any questions. The kitchen was well equipped if you like to prepare your own meals. Overall a lovely place to stay for the price!
Everything about this cabin was great! It was perfect for a quick 3 night getaway with the wife. Communication was top notch and everything was as advertised. We would absolutely book this cabin again. Saved in my favorites!!!
Looking to just spend a little time in the mountains with quick access to a quaint downtown? Then this is your place. The host is most gracious and the space has amenities as listed.
This was a wonderful place for my spouse and I to run away to for a few days. The cabin itself was charming. The location was great as it is only 10-15 minutes at the most from downtown Blue Ridge. This is a place that I plan on keeping as my go-to place in Blue Ridge.
We came to see the leaves and loved shopping in Blue Ridge, eating at Trailer Drive In, the Expedition! Big Foot museum, and campfires in the evening. Timothy was quick to respond with questions and recommendations for the area. The house was comfortable, and we slept in every day!! Thank you Timothy for your hospitality.
Just retired and wanted to get away for short time. Looked around and found Blue Ridge. The cabin was nice and area really beautiful. We enjoyed shopping downtown and ate at several restaurants. Enjoyed the self guided driving tour around the area. Enjoyed Mercier Orchard and Market and Bakery, sampled some baked goods. The apple cider donuts, was so good. Had dinner at The Toosa Riverside Restaurant also. The trout was really special. The cabin was convenient to all those things. Easy to get around the area. Watched the tubing down the river across from the cabin one day. We did not hike but looked like there some good trails close by.
Everything about this cabin is a catalyst for relaxing, from the drive along the river to the on demand fireplace (I want one of these now) setting the tone for a quiet place to relax and reconnect with loved ones.
Our first day we spent going to the Serenity in the mountains Spa and if I have any recommendations it's always always book a spa service for your first day of vacation. It was a quick 15 minutes from the cabin and then just another 7 minutes into downtown Blue Ridge for a day of shopping and enjoying the local eateries. You're going to think you've stepped into a Hallmark movie when you tour the main Street shops, each owner a wealth of knowledge and happy to educate and share their wisdom and hospitality. Truly one of the best experiences we've had in Georgia. The second day it was very cold and very rainy and we went for a walk and then bundled up and ready by the fire for the day and it was pure heaven. The amenities at the cabin are exceptionally well thought out, from the pro cookware and mattress from the gods (you are going to sleep like a baby) to the fire pit and the perfect patio it has so many homey little spots to create memories. We would count ourselves very lucky if we were to stay in this cozy little oasis again. Many many thanks to the owners for sharing this gem with the rest of us.
Hello and thank you for reviewing my profile. I'm a physical therapist with a passion for rehabilitation. Besides making the body work better, I also believe that mental and spiritual healing are just as important. When I'm not working with patients, I try to get away from the city as much as possible. I love places that don't have too many people, so I can take in all the beauty of the outdoors. As a physical therapist, you can guess that I care a lot about health, so I try to eat well and get plenty of exercises from hiking, swimming, and regular weight training. Overall, I'm blessed to have a balance between work and play.
Located in the â„of Aska Adventure Area. Cabin is right across the street from the famous Toccoa River! And it's only a 4-minute walk to the very popular, family-friendly Lily Pad Village, in addition to the Stanley Rapids where you can enter the river! The cabin is very clean and has all the amenities of home!
