The property looked better in the pictures! We had problems with one of the AC units. I messaged the host and we tried to remedy the situation but the problem was the whole unit needed to be replaced! It was cooling but it took 8 hours to get 4 degrees cooler. They had fans but it didn’t help much when it’s 100 degrees outside. No partial credit was given but she did allow us to check out an hour later than the scheduled check out time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm truly sorry that the AC issue affected your comfort, especially during such hot weather. As soon as you brought it to my attention, I did my best to resolve it as quickly as possible. Before the repair, the AC could cool the room to around 75°F, though I understood you preferred 70°F. After the repair, the unit was able to reach 70°F, and the next guests experienced no further issues with it. Had you requested a partial refund, I would have been happy to discuss it with you. Since you stayed for the full duration of your reservation and did not request an earlier checkout, I understood that things had worked out reasonably well. I was also happy to accommodate a 2-hour later checkout as a courtesy. During your stay, I felt that you appreciated my efforts to resolve the issue, so I was genuinely surprised to read your review. I sincerely care about my guests' comfort and always do my best to address concerns promptly. I'm sorry your experience did not fully meet your expectations, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify what happened.

Great stay. Loved the outdoor areas.

Plenty of room for 7 of us. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We had coffee on the back deck each morning. Loved the view and enjoyed watching the fish jump.

Flour Bluff Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very roomy. I was a little disappointed that the pool was not quite heated enough when we got there. But, we were able to get in the pool for a couple of days once it was heated.

Enjoyed our stay

We went for a high school graduation party that was in Portland over the Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed our time at the house, the pool in the front and being able to fish out back was nice. It was large enough to accommodate multiple families. The area is near the beach and other attractions. The owner made check in easy and checked to make sure everything was okay. Wish we would have had one more day there.

Family trip

The house was bigger than I expected. My adult children and their kids along with my husband and I all stayed and had plenty of room. Took the kids fishing in the canal and caught a few catfish. The house was well stocked for us to cook all of our family dinners. We would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay in Corpus Christi

We enjoyed our stay. The home was comfortable! The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. The beds were comfortable. The weather was cold so we didn’t get to use the pool. The outside landscape and views were nice. The front gate provided security but was a little challenging to open/close and lock. It got easier as we figured it out! Sylvia was very responsive to any needs we had!

Annual Family Spring Break trip

This is the perfect house for a large families or groups vacationing together. More than enough beds, bathrooms, and space to have the perfect vacation together. Pool was warm enough for the kids to enjoy even though it was the coldest Spring Break we’ve had in awhile. The location is close to everything. H‑E‑B, Walmart, beaches and everything fishing. Neighbors stay to themselves. Sylvia was quick to communicate. And Tracy the property manager is so nice.

Enjoyable winter retreat

This is an older, but well maintained house in an established community. The house has 3 separate areas to gather in as well as the 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This worked well for our family with opportunities to engage in different activities. Both the front yard with the pool and the back yard with the multilevel decks on the canal offered peaceful relaxation. We appreciated the gate closing us off from the street. The house is close to the bridge to North Padre and to groceries, gas stations, etc. Both the owner and manager did all they could to make our stay pleasant. Highly recommend this house.

Nice property with everything you need

We rented the property to use for a family gathering to celebrate my daughters graduation from Texas A&M CC. The rental and checkin was easy and communication with the host was awesome. She responded quickly when we asked questions about the property. The property really has everything you need. Fishing poles, boogie boards and even a kayak, the canal connects to the bay. I was going to bring my boat but it wasn’t worth it for the short trip. Fishing in the canal was not very successful, speaking to a local he indicated that the water just did not flow in/out of the canal enough to provide a good oxidation. He did advise that where the canals intersect the fishing was pretty good. The owner also responded to request and acted on my request for a folding table! There was plenty of room and all kind of amenities. I would highly recommend this property for a large gathering. 10/10

Some guests told me they caught crabs, and sometimes they caught fish. There's a fishing spot at Laguna Shore that's within walking distance. Some paid fishing piers along the Causeway are just a few minutes of driving. I hope you can get a better fishing experience next time!
