Our family loved staying here! The details made it feel like home, from the basket of cozy blankets to the coffee syrups out on the counter. In a quiet neighborhood, itâs a relaxing place to come back to after a day of mountain adventures!
My husband and I were in town to watch my son's games that were being played at Colorado College. The location of the house was perfect as we were able to walk to campus. The house was very clean and although we really did not cook there, I did notice it was a well stocked kitchen with appropriate pots, pans, silverware, etc. The upstairs bathroom was quite large and nicely done. The only thing that may give some people trouble is the old fashioned tub with shower. Stepping out without something to hold onto could be challenging. Otherwise, we loved the house and the location. Katrina (property manager) was quick to respond to questions. I would recommend staying here.
This place is the real deal- obviously lovingly cared-for old, charming house with appropriate updates. There were nice touches and amenities throughout. (Labeling light switches, a hair straightener, spices, cotton ballsâŠ) Really appreciate staying at a property that is personally cared for. Would definitely stay again.
Amazing communication, house exactly as described, easy parking. 5-15 minute drive to pretty much everything! Except the college and park which are quickly walkable. Perfect stay!!!
The home & backyard are so nice, well appointed and comfortable. Katrina is easy to communicate with and was very responsive & flexible with adding additional dates to the trip. We live in CO Springs and found this a convenient and close spot for our visiting family to stay. We would highly recommend Katrinas place!
I couldnât have asked for a perfect setup. House and accommodations were great. Weâve stayed in quite a few vrboâs and Iâve never had laundry/dish detergent, trash bags etc provided. I brought all of this from home because thatâs what Iâm use to. The house is also close to shooks run trail if youâre looking for a run or walk which the kids and I enjoyed.
It was a lovely stay and a lovely neighborhood. The only problem we had was that the neighbors were setting off fireworks right next door and our dog was not happy.
We loved our time at this well appointed Victorian gem. Close to everything we needed and sitting on the porch made for a perfect end to a summer evening.
Highly recommend!!
The home is beautiful, near small shops and Colorado College. Nice neighborhood. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to have a relaxing local experience đ.
The house was a wonderful place to stay and well-located to visit key places in the Springs. The house was very comfortable and set up very thoughtfully.
My (new) husband and I stayed here celebrating our marriage and traveling to new places! This was a quaint, nicely renovated home close to everything in Colorado Springs and was absolutely lovely. We would absolutely stay again the next time we are in town :)
Nice and roomy. Back yard is great, especially appreciated by our dog who had room to romp. Nice to park off street. Beds were perfect and had nice appliances, dishware, front porch.
I'm Katrina and I live downtown Colorado Springs. My goal is to provide you a 5 star experience while you stay here in Cascade, Colorado. I am a Realtor in the Colorado Springs and surrounding area. If I am not working you will probably find me playing pickle ball, sand volleyball or riding my bike. I like thrift shopping, biking, hosting dinner parties and going to local coffee shops and breweries. If there is anything I can help you with please don't hesitate to reach out.
This home is over 100 years old and my sister and I renovated it to what it is today. I know I am biased but I think it is one of the best places to live in Colorado Springs. We are walking distance to downtown, Colorado College, local coffee shops and Monument Valley Park.
