We loved this vrbo! It has everything you need for a great beach vacay, including lots of hooks and racks for all the beach wear! (Love when vrbos have plenty of space to hang your towels and clothes!) Pictures and descriptions accurately describe the house, location, and walk to the beach. The surf was gentle and excellent for my daughter to play in. I love that they have chairs, umbrellas, and toys to use. I think a wagon, too, but we brought ours. Island Jos coffee shop is at the end of the streetâgo early! It was super busy on Memorial Day. Restaurants close at 8/9pm on Sundays, so take note; we didnât plan well, but squeaked by! The house is very clean and we appreciated that. Beds are comfy, too. However, Iâd bring your own pillows for the king size bed. We would love to stay again and recommend this house for your Oak Island stay! (Pack bug spray if you plan on being in the yardâmosquitoes!!!)
We just finished spending a week and this house could not have been any better. Beautifully updated with a large back yard and fire pit. The house had everything that we needed from kitchen supplies to laundry and cleaning supplies. The host was by far the most responsive of any that I have ever experienced in a vacation rental and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. We will absolutely be booking again next year (or even again this year). Thank you for making our vacation amazing!
This is a new VRBO property and I think itâs still off the radar. Donât let the low number of reviews deter you. Honestly, I was worried myself. But, Lauren was always quick to reply to any questions I had before, during and after my stay. Pictures of property are very accurate. Kitchen is very well stocked. Beds were AMAZING! As a matter of fact we sleep better on vacation then we do at home. If there was anything I would change about the house, I would have liked TVs in the bedrooms, especially the master. Also, a privacy fence in the back yard would be very nice. This was our first time staying in Oak Island and it wonât be our last.
We had a good time. Everything that you need for a stay was provided. This was my second visit to Oak Island and I stayed in neighborhood area as before.it was quiet and private enough.
We love Oak Island - the quietness, the TREES, the sense of community and closeness of the ocean and ICW. We wanted to share our love of this beautiful island with others to create great memories, just as we have.
This property sits on a quiet street, with peekaboo views of the ICW and a short walk to the beach. We love the Yaupon area of Oak Island and feel it is more like a sleepy neighborhood than beach town. We love to walk, run and bike this island.
Quiet corner lot - walkable to May Moore Park to fish on the ICW, or walk down the street for coffee and treats at Island Jo's. This home is in the perfect location to relax, unwind and enjoy island life!
