Shady Oaks Cabin- Waco/ Magnolia/ Baylor

Shady Oaks Cabin is the perfect stay when you want to enjoy the sounds of nature with plenty of privacy to clear your head and recharge.

The space
This lovely and cozy home has plenty of space to spread out, enjoy a campfire, cook on the grill, and you can actually see the stars at night. It’s all perfectly romantic, natural and serene.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, toaster, Keurig Duo, cooking basics, dishware/flatware, basic pantry items, table with 6 chairs and kitchen island with 3 chairs.

The large master bedroom features a king size bed, 55" HD Smart TV, office desk with comfortable chair and access to the backyard. The master bath is the icing on the cake with a large walk in shower, a clawfoot bathtub and bathroom vanity with double sinks.

We also have a large insulated metal building that guest have access to. It has an 85" HDTV perfect for watching your favorite game. And we have games such as foosball, indoor basketball arcade game, air hockey and a blackjack table. We added two mini splits that cool the room during warm weather months and propane heaters for cooler weather. Seating was not present the day pictures were taken but it has been added.

The house was very nice. Rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are updated and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and cooking utensils. The party barn was so much fun! Our group had a wonderful weekend here, relaxing and catching up. We would definitely recommend to others!

The property was great! Our whole family enjoyed playing games in the shed and the house had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to relax. It was a great location between Lake Whitney and Waco. We would definitely stay there again! They were very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Country feel, close to the city

Lovely home, well laid out, plenty of space and the house was clean and overall well stocked. Lots of towels & linens, which was nice compared to some other places we've stayed. Enjoyed the deer coming round in the early morning and evenings, had fun watching the goats and sheep romp around across the street, pretty quiet but still close to morning coffee spots and decent food options. If we end up back in the area, will look to book again!

Place was absolutely amazing in all aspects. Stayed for a week and had plenty of toiletries, detergent, towels/washcloths, and everything else for the whole week! I don’t think there was a single thing we could’ve ask for. Property itself is a 10/10, very cozy warm home, big game room for fun, and plenty of space. Outdoors are nice too, swings in the front make a good place to drink your morning coffee with a grill to cook your evening dinner. Will absolutely stay here everytime we’re back in the area.

Clean and welcoming! This home was decorated so wonderfully for Christmas that it made it all the more special. It had all the amenities of home. Wish we spent more time in the awesome game room but the living room in the main house was so comfortable. Loved all the attention to detail with the Christmas decor! Great family getaway

My family enjoyed our spring break vacation at this beautiful home. It was far enough away from the city to enjoy nature (deer at the back fence, squirrels and birds, and even sheep across the street) but close enough to enjoy sight seeing and a night out for dinner. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. Bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets where needed. The master bathroom was amazing! The porch swings were perfect mornings listening to the birds as well as college students studying (even on break). The game room was fun for movie nights as well as friendly challenges in foos ball, ping pong, air hockey, basket ball and cards. We had a minor issue but the host took care of it very promptly and communication was excellent. We highly recommend and we will be back when we travel through this area again. Thank you for making our vacation memorable!

Wonderful Gem for the Whole Family

Our family loved this property and enjoyed our quick stay at the Shady Oaks Cabin for Christmas. It was tastefully decorated for Christmas and allowed our family to enjoy family time. (We will be back again for sure). The cabin is cozy but each family member had their privacy as well. The cabin was extremely clean, and the TVs, A/C, and fireplace all worked extremely well. All the beds were cozy, the comforters and pillows were fresh and the sheets and bath towels were as soft as mine from home. Having a clean place to stay is super important to our family, especially with an elderly person who has just finished chemo and gets sick very easily. Our group consisted of an elderly 75-year-old, 3 adults, 2 college boys, and a 12-year-old girl and there was something for everyone. Now, I haven't even gotten to one of our favorite parts!! The outside game room was absolutely awesome and had something for everyone no matter what age group. Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Basketball, Poker, HUGE big screen TV with reclining movie-style chairs (which was great for older folks who want to watch their grandchildren). Also when the adults and grandparents want to head off to bed, you can not hear anything inside from the massive outside game room. The host left snacks which came in handy for the hungry college boys and there was a coffee bar. The property has everything you need and it's not far from Waco and all the sights. We are already planning our next stay.
