WATERFRONT!! VIEWS!! Retreat for some R & R at this 7 acre pristine Maine waterfront oasis with 700 ft of shoreline for relaxation, fishing, kayaking and blueberry picking. Start you morning with a cup of coffee watching the eagles catch breakfast. Pack a lunch and kayak right out back in the Goldsboro Bay. Or grab a quahog and clam in your own backyard. A short distance away is the stunning coastal beauty of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Several close restaurants nearby as well as the Steuben Country Store. Or grab some local lobster and watch the sunset. Whatever you decide on plan on some amazing relaxation and serenity.

The house was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. It is a bit of a drive to Acadia, but close to other great spots. We wanted to kayak but the tides were low most the time we were around, you really have to watch the tides as the water in the cove drops off and it becomes difficult to reach the shore.

Just do it! If you are looking for a TRUE Maine experience including relaxation, new daily wondrous nature discoveries and adventures, access to seafood right off the wharf, clamming, hiking, kayaking ……this is the place for you and a group. Acadia and Bar Harbor are a quick and easy drive but there is a lot of antique shopping and wonderful food locally. It was very clean and all questions were answered promptly. Thank you!!! We made memories to last a lifetime.

Do not hesitate…this is the place to book for your next Maine/Acadia/Bar Harbor vacation. The property was beautiful, peaceful and well kept. The home was just like the pictures with all I needed for the stay. It felt like home and I could tell a lot of love went into the space.

While looking at places to stay fir a few weeks I kept returning to this property. I'm greatful this is the one we choose even though was an hour to bar harbor(still an easy drive) The house was perfect for our family of 5. Next time I'd plan to stay more at the property. So many things to enjoy this property had all our needs. Very welcoming and private. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Acadia region getaway spot. Very happy with the property. Exactly as listed. The panorama views were amazing! Loved how quiet it was out on the property. We had a lot of deer visitors during our stay. Would rent again.

Great vacation house!

The house was perfect for me and my 3 teenage kids. We loved the location and the access to the kayaks and the bay was great. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated all the local recommendations for food and places to visit as well!

Together we make a great team.
I get to handle the remodeling projects, and my talented wife gets to decorate and make everything picturesque.
The kids also love to help.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

There's approx. 7 acres of private coastal property, with plenty to explore. There's apple trees, low bush blueberries, raspberries, and black berries too. Wake up in the morning to watch the eagle's hunt for fish in Parrit cove behind the house. Then plan the day either hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, or swimming (depending on time of year) right in the backyard.
Nearby is the Schoodic peninsula part of Acadia National Park (Beautiful) that is only approx. 20 min drive from the house.
There's a seasonal ferry that runs from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor maneuvering its way through the abundance of lobster pots. Or drive to Bar Harbor, it's only approx. 45 min or so from the house.
Don't forget to swing by the Fisherman's Co-op to grab some fresh lobster, fish, crab, clams, etc..
Finish up dinner and get cozy by the Fire pit.
The sunsets over the bay in the evening are unique every night. Sit on the back porch and watch for shooting stars.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

On each property line is a freshwater creek/ stream that identifies the boundaries. During the peak season many small fish (especially smelt) can be caught during this time.
Watch the lobster boats set they're gear/traps during the season in the deepwater behind the house.
