Bring entire family to a great place with lots of rooms for fun. Plenty of beds for everyone. A large deck for cookouts & relaxing mountain air. Sit by a fire pit on chilly nights or lounge in the hammock.. When the snow comes, enjoy a cozy fireplace. The Main bedroom is downstairs with a private deck area, bedrooms upstairs have private balconies. From the second floor, you will find a quaint additional loft with new spiral staircase. High vaulted ceilings. Well behaved pets allowed ($125 pet fee).

Imagine Staying in the White Mountains of Arizona where you have 4 beautiful seasons and where you can breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the 40 lakes and over 600 miles of rivers and streams. In addition to the amazing fishing, this area has one of the most extensive trail systems in the south west for hiking, biking, horseback riding, quading and more. Sunrise Ski Resort is also just 45 minutes away with 3 beautiful mountains to ski, snow board or sled. If shopping is your interest, you will love the antique stores and the multitude of arts and craft shows that happen in the summer. The music festivals have something to fit everyone's enjoyment. Family vacation

The place was wonderful and i was able to get hold of the host very Quickly The bathroom on the Second level only hot water would come when taking a shower you could not take a shower in the first level bathroom and Turn on the water anywhere else.Because then you would lose hot water. Other than that we loved are stay.

I'm sorry you had that experience at our place. We haven't had this complaint before with over 100 guests staying. We have an 50 gallon water heater, the proper size water heater for 2 bathrooms.

Wonderful hosts, excellent property!

Nestled in a pine forest, this was a perfect retreat from the Phoenix summer heat— close to forest paths for the dog. Highly communicative and responsive hosts. Grill broke down and we had a new one fully assembled the next day— Saturday of the holiday weekend! Highly recommend

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay

We were a group of 12 people including kids stayed in this cabin over labor day weekend. We all really enjoyed our stay since the property was exactly as described, it was clean and fully equipped with lots of things that you might need during your stay. The communication with owner was easy and timly. I highly recommend this cabin. Weather and environment was awesome and in this area you could experience being calm, quiet and remote but absolutely safe at the same time. We will come back for sure.

Great looking cabin, Great area, must do a walk for ANYTHING damaged inside!!

The property was clean when arriving and the family had a good time with the company around. It was a little difficult getting in the house as to the pin pad was not working for the code for about 15 min before getting in. The outside was so lovely with all the snow, but we were not able to use the porch or the fire pit. The porch was not cleared of snow and we had to dig the snow out of the fire pit outside ourselves. Now inside had a high ceiling and plenty of room for the family to lounge and sleep. It was a really nice cabin. If you were trying to bring your pet make sure to find the box to check you're bringing a pet. I put in the filter that I was bringing a pet and didn't see any other place to put a check mark. After leaving the host wanted to charge me an additional $125. When I put the I was bringing a pet and the cabin is pet friendly. I always like to check the place I'm staying at for anything that is broken or missing. So as I did this I found several things broken in the cabin, took pictures of and reached out the host about these things. As the host was trying to blame me for damages. I recommended the host gets these things fixed before the next guest stay there and someone else gets blamed for these things, the host never replied after that. So please if you rent this place out be sure to do a full walk. There was things broken such as soap dispensers shower head nozzles game pieces, flooring etc. Not to mention when getting up in the middle of the night I did find a roach on the counter. That I also brought up to the host and they never said anything about. Now were they trying to charge me extra for the pet (that I did put in the filter originally when booking, or the damages "I caused" ) Has this happened to anyone else?! Also we did notice a car that drove by the cabin in the night time, late. It stopped in front of the cabin off to the side a little, even turned back around and drove by again, I brought it up to the host cause it was a little unsettling honestly, it was a female and to me it looked like the female in the picture of the girl that was renting this cabin out to me. There was no other cabins being rented out around us that You could see from outside our cabin. After bringing it up to the hosts the female stopped responding and only the male was responding and only said that he had a truck and he didn't drive by but nothing was said about the female. The cabin was nice and we had a great time, but check damages!

Hi Chelsea, We hope you enjoyed the wine and chocolates as a welcome gift. As you mentioned in your review, our cabin was “clean when arriving and the family had a good time”. This has been the experience of the many families we have hosted over the years in Pinetop and Tucson with our homes. Thank you for letting us now about the items that were broken when you were checking out. Next time, we suggest telling the host the first day if you notice items are broken, not the last. We are a pet friendly house but there is a fee for bringing a pet of $125. This is in our house description and when booking the website asks if you are bring a pet. This is a standard practice for vacation rentals. Please rest assured that no one in our family went to the cabin to check on you at night. We treat people the way we would like to be treated with respect, honesty, and kindness. We show respect to our guests and ask that they respect our house. Unfortunately you left the cabin extremely dirty with trash and empty bottles of alcohol around, left cigarettes burns inside our home (we are a non-smoking rental), and decided to not pay the pet fee. In the future, get to know the house rules regarding if smoking is allowed, are pets allowed, and what fees are associated with it. Our family felt you did not leave a fair and honest review with 1-star. Best regards and safe travels Chelsea!

We absolutely love Arizona, it’s deserts, mountains, lakes, canyons and rivers! We enjoy outside sports, hiking, biking horseback riding, snow skiing and zip lining! We raised two wonderful sons and currently raising a beautiful young daughter. We enjoy Arizona basketball, road to the final for and the NBA championship. Our family’s favorite football teams are a mix bag from Steelers, Patriots, Broncos and Of course the Cowboys. We love healthy foods from all over the world! From lean burgers and steaks, lamb, Thai, Greek, Indian, Vegan(my daughter) Salads Japanese, Mexican. Chess is my husbands passion and I love scrabble!
