Cozy and romantic one room (400 sq ft) log cabin, spectacular waterfront sunset views on beautiful 70,000 acre lake! Luxurious King size bed, loveseat with big screen TV for movie night! Extra shower outdoors, fabulous screened porch, small beach for floating your cares away, enjoying a sunset glass of wine, or gazing at incredible starry night...

Note: We have a security camera at the shared driveway entry gate that monitors the neighborhood road plus first 30 ft of shared driveway.

Perfect! We had a great vacation. This place is so private and peaceful and beautiful!!! Our bed was so comfortable. The view is unbelievable with beautiful sunsets and surrounded by water where we could kayak, paddle board, fish and swim. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location

Fished the Big Bass Tournament on Clark's Hill this weekend with my Son and Grandson. Location of this property and the accommodations were perfect. Lots of memories made! We will definitely stay again!

Couple Getaway

Sweet little cabin in Modoc right on the water with an amazing sunset view. Perfect for a couple. It had everything we needed. My husband and I brought our boat and had an enjoyable week on the water. Mark was very helpful and responsive. We would love to stay here again.

Our stay was truly wonderful, offering an absolutely stunning view and a location that provided incredible peace and quiet. We loved the tranquility and the surroundings. However, a few issues affected the overall experience. The Wi-Fi and cable were unreliable, often going in and out. We also encountered ants inside the property. Additionally, the jacuzzi was not sanitized for use, which was disappointing. Addressing these maintenance and cleanliness issues would make this property perfect.

Great holiday!

We spent an awesome week in the cabin, great host, always available, even shipped an item I forgot in the cabin to me. The cabin is really nice, has everything you need for a relaxed vacation. Loved the place, especially the small beach!

Great place! Here to watch my son - great parking (even for a boat and truck)! Nice for a solo or couple. Great view - right on the water - 20 minutes to good restaurants and shopping. Excellent host communication! Would stay again!

Peaceful retreat

The property was outstanding to unplug and totally unwind. We brought our paddleboards and enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets from the water. The cabin was super nice and cozy. We loved all the different outsoor seating areas and will definitely be back.

Modoc cabin on Thurmond Lake was awesome

This property is fantastic. Perfect size for a couple. Neat, clean, well equipped, and IT mastered. The sunsets right out the porch looking over the lake was the best part. Mark is an awesome host. Exceptional in all points. We will be back next year. Thanks for an outstanding stay!!

Stunning

This place was absolutely stunning, everything about it. The views, the host, the accommodations. There was not one thing missing, from great cooking pots to an amazing shower. The adjustable bed gave us amazing rest. The feeling was of a secluded island with everything you need. We will definitely be back.

Secluded getaway in a beautiful location.

This is a lovely one room/bath cottage on the lake in Modoc Shores, SC. We enjoyed our stay, even though it rained every day The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook there without a problem. You probably should take food with you as there are no grocery stores close by. Augusta is about half an hour away. The dock is currently under renovation. Our only problems were with the weird cable selections (no sports) and the fact there were no written instructions of what to do before we left. In VRBO locations where we have stayed previously, there has been a list of what to do with the sheets & towels, garbage, etc.

Wonderful cabin with a gorgeous view.

Love, love, love this cute cabin. The shower is awesome, the bed is super comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. The lake and beach was awesome. I can't wait to go again.

Nice Enough

Good response time on checking in. Appreciate that for sure. Overall - nice but room for improvement. Things that someone else might never notice. Extra towels for long hair ladies. Sharp knives to cut food when cooking. Better discussion of hidden location of rental. I host for another short term rental company and know that it's not an easy task.
