Great location

This was a nice getaway walking distance to the beach. It had everything I needed to make meals and sleep comfortably. The place is set up with everything you could need and more. Very easy check in and out process. Very enjoyable!

Fabulous experience, super close to the beach, hosts were super helpful for local knowledge, rooms were amazing, can’t say enough greet things about this place.

Perfect retreat

The casita is just the perfect size for a couple. Very clean and new, with good fans, AC and Wi-Fi. A short walk to the beach, coffee and restaurants. Shelly was an outstanding host and helped us to arrange for transport from the airport and then two last minute changes when the airline messed up. Had a great time watching the surfers at sundown.

Amazing hosts and great upgraded units

We rented both rear units and there was not one complaint during our entire trip - spotless and upgraded. The hosts were absolutely amazing and a delight. Short walk to an amazing beach. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. This was the perfect rental for us ! Thank you for hosti

Chill vibe, away from the city bustle

We stayed in the 1 bedroom Caseta and it was perfect for my wife and I. Playa Grande is a small little surfing village that has a few great restaurants (Pots and Bowls was our favorite!) and great access to the beach. It's much smaller than nearby Tamarindo and much quieter. It was perfect, and hosts Shelly and John were super nice and very helpful with questions we had about various activities around the area. I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend!

Amazing

We had a hard time finding the house once we arrived in Playa Grande but John came right down to the surf shop and led us to the house. The house is clean and comfy and very secure. John took us down to our private beach and was very kind and hospitable. Playa Grande is a great choice and I would highly recommend this place.

Great location, property and people!

We had a great stay at Lobos at Playa Grande. The unit was great and just like the pictures. Very modern, comfortable and spacious. John and Shelley are great hosts and made the check in process very comfortable, explaining the features of the unit as well as the nearby amenities, beaches and areas to explore. We were able to see the howler monkeys in the morning and get lots of amazing pics of birds and flowers in the area. There are several good places to eat within walking distance and several of the local shops can help in booking adventures. The beach is amazing; big with beautiful, good for walking, swimming and opportunities for great surfing. We had a great time and loved this place.

Beautiful cottage in quiet community

This was the most elegant of the many short-term rentals we’ve visited. The kitchen and bathrooms (1 full, 1 half—nice!) were beautifully designed and built. Appliances were quite new and high-end.Playa Grande is a small and peaceful beach community, except for the construction—lots of luxury homes going up, understandably.We would prefer if VRBO policy provided for earlier confirmation and instruction on checking in. Three days pre-reservation is a bit of a nail-biter.

Lovely Casita

Really enjoyed our stay as the casita was lovely and we liked being at beautiful Playa Grande. It was perfect for our 3 night stay. There is lots of construction in the area but hopefully the work right across the street will be done very soon. The hosts were excellent.

Nice little casita

The casita is nice, comfortable, clean, and has necessary amenities. It's pretty quiet and located not far from the beach (a very short drive or longish walk). If staying in Playa Grande it's a good option. Owner was quite attentive.
