Pine Grove Mills is a charming village between State college and Rothrock State Forest making it a perfect place for a stroll! The trailhead into the state forest is only about a half a block away. there is also a amazing five star restaurant within two blocks, flower and Stone. I personally love them best for breakfast, but their dinners are out of this world as well. pine Grove Hall has live music almost every weekend within easy walking distance. there's also a Farmers market focused on local and sustainable open 3 days a week across the street, also a great place to buy souvenirs!

the guest private driveway is on the uphill side of the house along the hedge row. pull straight back until you see the spiral staircase. the driveway fits up to four cars.

at the end of the driveway is access to the fenced backyard. this communal space has many native species we have cultivated over the years including jewel weed, plantain and others. if you have a animal they can enjoy the fenced in backyard too.

once up the spiral staircase there is a deck that overlooks the backyard. the entrance is at the end. the front door leads into the weekend kitchen. it includes a sink, table, few dishes pots and pans, mini fridge, double burner, toaster, microwave, hot water dispenser, and air fryer. please help yourself to whatever ramens or canned food may be there. if there's food left out on the counter, they are for snacks for guests so please feel free.

the bathroom with a cast iron tub, and shower is to the left. there will be towels, soap, toilet paper shampoo etc supplied.

the door directly across from the entrance is the green bedroom. the green bedroom has a queen size bed and slanted ceilings. the queen size bed is on the floor to give more headroom for the slanted ceilings. it has a relaxing feel with heirloom cherished Chinese antiques.

the door to the right of the entrance is the living room. this door can be closed if you would like a private suite with just a living room and one bedroom.

the living room has a sleepable-sized couch, two recliners and a television. there's a large and small size dog bed in the living room as well.

the door to the side of the living room is the second bedroom, the blue bedroom. it's a much more airy and light. this room does has tall ceilings, the light comes in beautifully in the morning. it's a very bright cheery room.

we have a great discount for longer-term stays. please note anything more than 3 days is a private suite including 1 bedroom and living room, with a shared kitchen and bathroom. ....less than 3 nights it's two bedrooms, private living room, private kitchen and private bathroom
