My family had a wonderful time here, and couldnât ask for anything more. Weâve stayed in a lot of properties and this was an amazing place, quiet, secluded, and close to where we wanted to be.
Easy to find, private, spacious, & SO clean. We were invited to a wedding at the Barn at Valhalla (10 min away) and couldnât have chosen better. The host made sure we were comfortable & all our needs were met
Jo Mac Cottage was an excellent choice for the three of us while attending a bridal shower in Durham and visiting family in Chapel Hill. The home was immaculately cleaned and the host left thoughtful supplies like coffee, oil, salt, pepper, etc. We encountered a slight glitch with the door keycode upon check-in, but were able to reach the host by phone immediately and the problem was promptly resolved. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in town.
The Owner and her Manager have done a exemplary job furnishing this 2/1 rental.
The beds were outstanding and made the stay wonderful.
The property has full size kitchen appliances with even an electric tea kettle.
There is a Roku TV available in the living room for streaming. In a world of sketchy rentals, this property was a breath of fresh air. This was an overall great rental experience.
Needless to say, I highly recommend reserving this property for your next Chapel Hill trip.
Considering the exhorbitant price for the weekend, I expected more. While the location was good, the beds were too hard, the coffee pot had old grounds in it, the ice maker did not work nor did the electric teakettle and we never found the remote to the TV. Another full length mirror would be helpful. Not sure if Andy or Nancy was our host.
