Small thoughtful details, designer lighting and tasteful touches compliment the stylish, modern farmhouse decor and create a warm atmosphere making it feel like your very own Home Sweet Home.
âFrom exposed beams to wide plank floors to shiplap walls and so much more, no opportunities have been overlooked to infuse this home with character. Embracing the original features using locally sourced materials while enhancing the home with modern day functionality, let's you experience a stay that truly feels unique.
âHand-selected furniture throughout, comfy beds and soft linens, vintage style bathrooms with heated floors and included toiletry items, a designated desk area and a convenient laundry room are just a few of the home's best features.
The home boasts a smart layout with a sitting area and two bedrooms upstairs, offering solitude and privacy from the rest of the home. While another bedroom can be found on the main level which is perfect for those who need a more accessible option.
The heart of the home is the living room with a handcrafted fireplace and theater style television but the star of the show may be the spacious dining room with custom fans and farmhouse table which blends the two rooms creating the ideal spot for gathering and spending time with your favorite people.
ââThe stunning kitchen definitely doesn't take a back seat showcasing a large concrete island and eat-up bar which creates the perfect passageway for more conversation, easy entertaining and sharing a delicious meal together. Chef or not, you'll always be set with a stocked and functional kitchen, including an outdoor BBQ for grilling so you can also dine al fresco during the warmer months.
Open and bright with lots of natural light, the inside reflects an equally desirable outside which you can enjoy from the back patio area with outdoor furniture or gather around an impressive one-of-a-kind kettle fire pit. A bocce ball court and other lawn games, make having fun a top priority. Plus, venture out for more play year round with your pick of some additional toys.
Situated on over a half acre there's plenty of room to relax and roam. Landscaped with native plants, fruit trees and flowers, you'll always be able to appreciate your favorite season when visiting, and if that happens to be in the summer, feel free to try your hand at some gardening for fresh contributions to your cooking.

GUEST & PROPERTY ACCESS:
Guests will have access to the rental units they have reserved and the exterior grounds that go with them. The detached studio with sleeping loft can only be reserved (additional fee may apply) by the same guests already reserving the farmhouse. The studio space is for adults only and it allows for additional sleeping capacity or it's ideal for guests who still need to work while traveling. The Camping Corner @ Our Sweet Retreat is a separate seasonal rental unit (May - October) on the same property set apart by a rope fence. The Camping Corner can also be reserved as additional space (2 adults max) or for those who want to experience their own personal glamping getaway. Guests using that space must be 18 years or older since the camper, outdoor bath and surrounding area is intended for adult use only. If interested, please visit our website at www.oursweetretreat.net/camper for booking details and requirements since it's a separate rental unit with different guidelines.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Please be respectful of the surrounding community and our neighbors by honoring quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. We do have noise monitors at the property and our neighbors have our phone number so we will be alerted if there are issues.
We have a security system with external cameras on the property and they will be turned on.
Please do not have any items shipped to the property without advance permission.
We do have a crew who does weekly yard maintenance at the property so please be aware they may be present at times.
The detached garage is for homeowner use only and should not be accessed by guests.
HOUSE RULES:
Our Sweet Retreat is meant for singles, couples and families who are looking to enjoy and explore the Wilsonville area and beyond (minimum rental age is 25). We want guests to relax but we also hope to be able to continually provide exceptional accommodations because our guests understand they are to leave our property as they found it...clean, neat and tidy. Children should have fun while under the watchful eye of their parents.
--A signed rental agreement and providing verification of government ID will be required. A security deposit up to $500 as an authorized hold on your credit card is also required. Once these steps have been completed then your reservation will be finalized.
--A guest guidebook will be provided to guests prior to arrival and you must read and adhere to that information during your stay.
--The person named on the reservation will be our point of contact and must be present during the entire stay (unless discussed in advance with us). They are responsible to convey the information found in the Guest Guidebook to other guests staying or visiting and ultimately for the actions of those other guests while at the property during their stay.
--The number of guests specified at the time of booking must match the number of those actually present during the stay. The external cameras will verify the number of guests and you will be billed accordingly if there are more guests than your original reservation states. The maximum amount of guests allowed for each unit is: Farmhouse = 8 guests, Detached Studio = 2 adults and The Camping Corner = 2 adults. The property maximum is 12 guests and this applies to sleeping and/or occupying the property (buildings or grounds). See next rule if you'd like for exceptions to be considered or ask us about our event packages.
--Parties are never allowed (including co-ed wedding parties and/or sport teams). Events, business meetings or social gatherings may be considered but are not allowed without express permission first (additional fee may apply). Disregarding this rule will result in immediate eviction and additional fines.
--Pets are not allowed. Sign of pets on the property may result in eviction and a loss of all booking fees and /or loss of your security deposit. If damages occur, guest will be financially responsible.
--No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed. Absolutely, no marijuana or using drugs during your stay. Please drink responsibly and dispose of bottles and cans in the appropriate recycling bins. The internet may not be used for illegal activities. Any violations may result in eviction and a loss of all booking fees and/or loss of your security deposit. If damages occur, guest will be financially responsible.
--No candle burning. Instead, we provide flameless, battery-operated candles for you to use. Do not operate indoor fireplace. Outdoor fire pit has specific rules for operating and those rules must be followed or fines may apply, including ending fire pit time by 11:00 PM. Firewood is provided.
--Bicycle riding and any water activities on the Willamette River or any other bodies of water are done at your own risk.

We are the Craddocks and we are the happy hosts & owners of this vintage gem. Bob and I are college sweethearts and have lived in many different communities in the Portland metro area for over 30 years and Wilsonville is one of our favorites.
Being a local real estate agent with an eye for design along with Bob's experience as a seasoned traveler, we instantly knew this property checked all our boxes and could be a fan favorite with others as well. Our daughters share their dad's sense of adventure and 'love-to-travel' gene so it's been fun to see their creative contributions come to life as well.

As the self-titled, 'travel agency' for our family and friends when traveling locally or abroad, logistics and hospitality are in our DNA. So rest assured, we care and we've got you covered.
When we aren't busy hosting, you can find us in nearby Charbonneau, which is where we currently call home.

From renowned wineries and wedding venues to equestrian centers and farms with cooking classes to premiere shopping and dining options or even just a quick trip to Costco or Target, you're only a short distance from everything. Not to mention two golf courses within minutes and water activities of your choice on the nearby Willamette River and year round fun at Mt Hood and the Oregon Coast.
Wilsonville is situated equally between Downtown Portland and Salem, about 35 minutes to each and is only a 1-2 hour drive to the desirable Oregon Coast, Mt Hood and Columbia Gorge areas of Oregon.

The acclaimed Portland International Airport (PDX) is conveniently located just 45 minutes north of Wilsonville with a variety of carriers/flights being offered daily. For personal pilots or small flightcraft, Aurora State Airport is just 5 minutes away.
Whether you're driving your own car or renting one, the Wilsonville area offers easy freeway access. Or if you'd like to enjoy the scenery, there are many local route options as well. There is plenty of parking available once you arrive.
Once you've arrived, Smart Transit, is a local shuttle option that provides various shopping stops in Wilsonville. If you chose to transfer to another route, the shuttle remains free if you're within Wilsonville's city limits. Paid fare options to Canby, Salem, WES Commuter Rail and PDX Park-n-Ride are available as well.
