Pas de retraite privé (1 minute) du parc de la plage de sable fin, en retrait de la rue. Vues magnifiques sur l'eau de Long Island Sound depuis chaque chambre. Levers et couchers de soleil sur l'eau. Maison moderne 4BR 3BA haut de gamme, propre et spacieuse, sur un terrain de 0,5 acre avec une chambre au premier étage et une immense suite Master BR! Cuisine gastronomique, planchers de bois franc, lits confortables, antiquités et plus. Air conditionné avec grande terrasse enveloppante sur trois côtés et salle à manger en plein air, barbecue à gaz. Beau paysage avec quelque chose toujours en fleurs. Deux kayaks, ping-pong, baby-foot et beaucoup de jeux et de livres. Marchez en ville sur les trottoirs (20 minutes). Près de Guilford Green avec de charmants magasins et une petite épicerie. Grande épicerie et Walmart à 5 minutes en voiture. Les points de vente de Clinton sont à seulement 15 minutes en voiture. Beaucoup de bons restaurants locaux, marché de poisson frais local et marché fermier hebdomadaire à Madison. Guilford with a View

This property is beautiful and the house is spacious and well equipped for a wonderful stay. The host was attentive and easy to contact when it was necessary. Such a fantastic choice for a stay in a delightful town.

Great location near the beach

Beautiful home and Judy is a great host. Has everything you need and close to a nice little beach and playground. Nice views out over the water, good places to walk, explore the coast. We had a great getaway.

Family beach week

This was a return visit to this property that is just a short walk from Jacob’s Beach and park. This beach is great for children as it is protected from large waves and is shallow for a good distance out from the shore. The house has lots of toys for the children and plenty of room for everyone.

Great place

Great house with nice open layout in the living room, dining room kitchen area which made hanging out with our big group of 8 people very enjoyable. Well appointed kitchen, everything you need for the beach (chairs, towels), etc. Amazing views of the coastal area and the ocean. Communication with the host was very easy. Nice area to explore and enjoy. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure!

Fantastic Location - Beach, Water and New Haven

Stayed at this amazing home with my wife and 3 teenage daughters in summer 2017. Walking distance to the town beach and kayaking in the marsh outside the back door was phenomenal. This was a home much more than a vacation house with a beautiful kitchen, views to die for and furnishings that were comfortable in every room. Access to New Haven made this rental the perfect spot for a memorable family vacation.

Beautiful home, excellent location with great views of the ocean. Beach access nearby with playground. Toys and activities for children. Well appointed kitchen. Town offers easy access to food and necessities. Some great little shops.

Lovely home -close to beach

This is a well equipped home for a family stay. The lower level has lots of toys for children and some games for teens and adults. There was plenty of equipment for the beach and water fun. The beach and playground is a 5 minute walk. Many restaurants are a short drive away.

Beautiful views overlooking Long Island Sound

Judy was a responsive host who met us at the house when we arrived. This beautiful house had water views from all three sides of the wrap around deck. The house was located right across the street from the beach and in walking distance from a couple of local favorite restaurants in the nearby harbor. We had a well needed quiet and relaxing weekend with friends in this gorgeous, tranquil area.

Fabulous family getaway location

We spent six nights in this home with our adult children, their spouses, and our six year old granddaughters. We were all quite happy to have stayed here. It was spacious enough to gather for meals and games, both inside and on the deck, even when two more family members visited during the day. The basement and yard provided places to play when the kids weren’t at the beach or playground. Everything we wanted was an easy walk or drive. Sunrise, sunset and water views were the icing on the cake. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this lovely home again.

Superb rental!

I wish I could have given this property more than five stars! It’s a gorgeous home, private, conveniently located with amazing views! Surrounded by water. The home is immaculate, well equipped. The jacuzzi and MBR shower were luxurious. The beds are comfortable and the basement “rec room” was a bonus. My family and friends and I felt very blessed to stay here for 2+ weeks. Also of note….the property owner, Judy, is very responsive and helpful. Perfect vacation experience!

Great family vacation

Our 3 grandchildren, our daughter and her husband joined us for a great week at this very beautiful home in Guilford.The wraparound deck gave us an unobstructed view of the Sound with an active hawk's nest that was fun to watch; the gardens next door had spectacular flowers and bird feeders that attracted a wonderful variety of birdlife. It was hard to leave what felt like our own private nature park. The grandchildren (11 months, 2-1/2 and 12) loved being so close to the beach and a great playground, and the location of the house couldn't have been better. We were in close proximity to many great restaurants. We actually ate in many nights - the kitchen was so well equipped and the view from the dining room table couldn't be beat. We used the 2 available kayaks, and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table and the other games in the basement. Comfortable beds, clean and well appointed bathrooms and comfortably furnished family gathering areas made us feel very much at home. We had a great vacation and hope to return. The property owner was very responsive and lovely to deal with. You can't go wrong with this home! Our only criticism was that the amount of lighting in the living room area was a little too dim for reading in the evening. Everything else was fabulous.

Our Family Gathering

We all loved the setting and layout of this wonderful house. The kitchen is amazing! Our meals were easy to make together. Lots of space to gather together for a surprise Baby Shower. A great playroom for the little ones. The bedrooms were so comfortable and plentiful. The highlight for the little ones was the jacuzzi!! We want to come back to this lovely place.

Heavenly area

Very New England area and this property is next to a marsh area so you feel you. are waterside. House is large and spacious,well appointed. It was a pleasure to be there.

A Family Wedding

Our family group of 6 stayed here for our sons wedding at Guildford Yacht club. The location could not have been better, the views are spectacular, the house is away from any traffic and is a bird watchers paradise. We had some relatives with children visit and Jacobs Beach is a 2 min walk away with play equipment and a splash pool as well as a lovely swimming beach. In addition, there is a ping pong table and lawn games available. The deck was perfect for a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine. Pa's place and the Lobster Pound are an easy 5 min walk away for local seafood. It's a 20 minute walk into town which is delightful. Judy was very responsive to our needs, her house is comfortably decorated as seen from the photos, with beautiful carpets and antiques. The kitchen has everything and more than you will need for excellent cooking including a wonderful cast iron griddle on the stove. And if it rains there are tons of boardgames to keep you busy. Bathrooms are well stocked with towels and all updated. Master bath has an amazing view over the water - as does the master bedroom. The fourth bedroom is on the first floor and has one twin bed and one trundle which was fine for the groom the night before his wedding and has it's own full bathroom opposite. Wifi worked great. Washing machine, iron and plenty of closet space! This house will always have special memories for our family - it's a beautiful home. Thank you Judy Andrea and Neal Brody

Perfect family home

The setting of this home is amazing. A beautiful view of the water from all sides of this home. Lovely 3 sided deck with numerous places to relax. Our family throughly enjoyed this well kept home and the host was so accommodating. As we were attending our grandson’s graduation from Yale, it was a short drive to Guilford. We would highly recommend this home.

Wedding Weekend

A beautiful home with fabulous views! Everything needed for any group to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities. Judy, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful!!!! We hosted a Wedding Welcome event in Branford and our son's wedding was at The Madison Surf Club. This home was a great location between the 2 venues.

Excellent weekend stay

My family and I stayed at this property for two nights for a family reunion. It was perfect for our needs. The property manager was extremely attentive and ensured the house was in great shape. The property was close to guilford and has wonderful views of the Long Island Sound. A huge bonus was the game room and our two boys (age 4 and 2) loved it. If ever back in the area, we’d definitely stay again.

Guilford Retreat

The house is wonderful - well equipped and comfortable. The setting is spectacular and the views are beautiful from the wraparound deck. It's an easy walk to Jacobs Beach which is a great beach for young children, to the Lobster Pound, the Guilford Mooring and Pa's Place which has a great breakfast and lunch menu.

Fun in the sun at CT shore

Wonderfully relaxing stay at the Connecticut shore. We enjoyed our family reunion and felt so comfortable in this very spacious house. Beautiful views from all windows and so close to the beach.

I grew up in California but migrated to New England over 25 years ago. I've been everywhere but I love love love to call Guilford home! It's charming, with beautiful views of Long Island Sound and beaches, and great food (lobster rolls are my favorite!). It's also a place that restores the soul. It makes me happy when people come to vacation at my property and leave refreshed and want to come back!

I chose this neighborhood for the amazing ocean views, lovely breezes, relaxing vibe, water sport opportunities and pristine natural setting. The house was built to bring family together and I'm happy to say that it does exactly that! I love that the property is private but not remote. It's very easy to find shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
