This beautifully maintained home was built in 1910. It has all of the historic charm, but with all of the modern amenities. Close to great restaurants and walking distance to the Castillo de San Marco
Jason was an excellent host. We enjoyed lounging in the backyard and front porch. Comfortable sleeping rooms for our party of eight. So nice to park the car and easily walk to the historical district. Definitely recommend this stay!
My wife, stepdaughter, and I stayed for the weekend and loved it. We usually rent a hotel when we visit St. Augustine but wanted a little different experience this time. The house was as pretty, warm, and comfortable; the owner was gracious with good communication. I have recommended this place to a few friend's and family that are looking. Was an A stay; next time I will have to stay longer.
There were eight of us that stayed for a trip for my boyfriends birthday. We absolutely loved the house. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, utensils, etc. Beds we very comfortable. Practically across the street from where you get the Trolly and the Fountain of Youth. Its also about a 15-20 minute walk to St. George's street. Would 100% stay again if we make another trip to St. Augustine.
We have been renting single family homes in Florida for over 15 years. We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It is well maintained, clean, and has all the necessities for an extended stay; we spent the entire month of February in this house. We had numerous family and friends visit over the month, as many as nine adults at one time. The five bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodated us nicely. Everyone liked the house and in particular its proximity to downtown St. Augustine. While an older home, it has the charm of high ceilings, crown molding, and solid wood floors in most rooms. When you rent for an extended period issues do arise. The owner, Jason, responded quickly and fully addressed the few minor issues that arose. Our extensive experience with renting homes for extended periods dictates that you need a responsive property manager. Should we return for another visit to St. Augustine, we would not hesitate to rent this home again.
We stayed for two nights at this property and had a great time. The property is accurate to the description and the pictures posted on the listing. Itâs a lovely and quaint house that matches the history of St Augustine.
The parking on the property perfectly fit four cars and the house comfortably housed 7 adults. Although we only stayed for two nights, the property was definitely set up well to accommodate a longer stay to get to know St Augustine well.
Great location in walking distance to the historic district, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of a touristic town.
Jason is a fantastic host who was always available and on top of responding promptly to any questions we had.
Plenty of space to hang out in small or large groups, comfortable furniture, large dining room table for shared meals and games. Everything worked. AC was good, and there were more washers/driers than expected. The property next door was a bit sketchy and there was some construction going on over there, but it wasn't that bad. Close to many attractions and within walking distance of down-town historic area. There were 9 of us: 4 married couples (myself and my wife; our two sons and their wives; and 2 friends) and our teenage grandaughter. We had adequate parking for 3 cars. My friend flew his drone a few times, our sons and their families went to nearby beaches, we ate in some of the local restaurants or got takeout, or cooked in the kitchen. A great experience!
