St Augustine Cottage

Wonderful home. Better in person than the pictures and that is saying a lot. We did not really interact with the property manager. Did not need to. Charming outdoor area. Great location. Minutes from the Bridge of Lions! We hope to be back. Highly recommend!

Adorable roomy house not too far from historic neigborbood

We came to this house so we could evacuate for a hurricane. This house is lovely. Very roomy great decor, lots of towels, soap, detergent, etc. great communication with property manager.

40th Birthday

Our son's 40th birthday celebration was held in St. Augustine, and we needed a "home away from home" for the weekend. The Cottage Over the Bridge was perfect. When you walk in, there is a beauty and comfort that I have not seen in other rentals. The owners paid such attention to detail, in the layout, decor and amenities. It was a pleasure to stay in this lovely home.

Great Stay

I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this was by far the best house I have ever rented. It was very well remodeled and the decor was amazing. This house had everything we needed and then some. It truly felt like a home away from home. Next time I’m in St. Augustine I definitely hope to be able to rent this house again.

Delightful

1 week holiday stay Christmas thru New Years!Nicely remodeled home in great location . Easy to access historic downtown plus the beaches. House well equipped and nicely remodeled. large living area. Large dining table. Spacious kitchen. Bedrooms close together but very comfortable.Linens and towels were very nice. Little extras from owner really was above and beyond. I would definitely recommend booking. Historic St Augustine is busy during the holidays… so traffic is tough, but if you are not opposed to walking off your meals, restaurants and downtown are definitely doable by foot…especially when the weather is so nice .

Lovely Cottage!

Beautiful home! Wonderful “beach vibe”! New decor throughout. Big living/dining/kitchen area. Plenty of room for our family of eight. Home was stocked with everything you need. Relaxing patio areas in front and back. Quiet neighborhood, but close and convenient to everything. Paul and Jenni were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

Great place and convenient location

I came with friends from high school whom I had not seen for some time. The house was recently remodeled and a great spot. Everything was comfortable and it’s very convenient to downtown St Augustine… just be mindful of the traffic backing up to cross the bridge. Beaches were just as convenient. If couples are coming, just know the walls are very thin in the bedrooms! You can hear everything in the other rooms - talking, coughing, etc. Otherwise we had a great stay and the hosts were very communicative.

What a pleasant surprise!

This rental was very nice. The reno they did was very professional and nicely done. Comfortable, lovely decor, very clean. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, easy checkin. We did have to put tape on the floor to remind us of the step down into the living room. Would rent again. PS…it took us 3 days to find the garage! Ha!! (Inside joke)

Chill vibes near the heart of St. Augustine

We had a great experience at the cottage over the bridge! It’s a beautifully designed property stocked with all the comforts of home. The owners did a great job making sure everything within the house was functional and easy to find. LOVED the decor of the house and how clean and organized everything was. The welcome binder was very helpful and we appreciated the local suggestions. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

The Cottage is by far the best VRBO!!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage! The home was more than sufficient for our needs and really exceeded our expectations. We feel in love with this place. It was extremely accommodating and comfortable! It was equipped with an abundance of towels, extra bed linens and blankets, laundry detergent and a few extras. The kitchen has more appliances than I have in my own home! I loved this home and definitely recommend. You will not regret it! Also, it’s only minutes away from everything you need and want to do! Amazing!!!

CLEAN, CUTE, and CONVENIENT!

This place was everything we needed! It was super clean, so cute (i took some ideas home to do at my house), and close to Downtown. Even when we found out the propane tanks were empty, I contacted the host and they were very accommodating! We would absolutely stay here again!

For the size of the house it had plenty of space. Every room and bathroom were updated. Very close to great restaurants, downtown, and the marina.

Two families purchased this property in 2021 and began a full renovation of the entire home. After months of working together (and enjoying many favorite local restaurants and beaches), we put on our final touches.

We have all fallen in love with this area. As people who love history and charming beach side communities, what wasn't to love about the oldest city in America?!
