Nouvellement rénové Condo moderne dans la vieille ville de Scottsdale

i have been getting several inquiries asking me about this review , so let me state for the record... YES THERE IS PARKING!!!..however when this renter arrived, the previous renter had forgotten to leave the parking pass at the condo so i had to get a replacement pass . Her comment regarding the lack of towels in the bathrooms is a perfect example of a renter not bothering to read the check-in package i send before arrival, which clearly states there are plenty of extra towels for both the bathroom ( as well as plenty of pool towels) in each of the bedroom closets. The balcony patio is deliberately inset from the street to help keep the condo cool in the summer months but still provides plenty of natural light..

Hmmm… Where to start ..The fact of the matter is that Michelle originally claimed she was feeling sick and called me claiming it was the “air quality “ in my place ( after she had been there for only 20 minutes) that was causing her discomfort . I told her that in my many years of renting out my place ,not once had a previous renter commented or complained about the air quality. I told her I honestly felt she was jumping to conclusions and to try giving it a bit of time and see how things were by early evening ( it was 4pm when she checked in ).I said we could discuss possible options then if her symptoms persisted . Forty minutes later , she texted me saying she and her two friends had left and would be checking into a hotel. She spent a total of one hour in my condo before leaving , never mentioning anything about my place not looking like the photos etc. and clearly expected me to immediately reimburse her in full or pay for alternative accommodations. After discussing it with the VRBO team , they advised me to wait and see before I did anything . I had told Michelle I felt bad that she was feeling ill and I would be open to issuing a partial refund but that didn’t mean in any way that I felt my condo was the cause of her health issues . A week later she launched an official complaint with VRBO before contacting me , adding several false claims about the state of my property to justify her unreasonable demands for a full refund . Then when she did contact me directly , she threatened me with lawyers etc if she was not refunded in full … I consulted VRBO again who advised me they had received her complaint but that it was of their opinion I was not obligated to refund her at all … i.e. they found her grievances to be insufficient and unproven . So even though I had been open to the idea of giving her half of her money back , I knew this would never be enough and she would most likely post a fabricated and vindictive negative review no matter what I did. I will not be held hostage or taken advantage of by dishonest unreasonable renters who threaten me with legal action and a bad review if I do not comply with their outrageous demands .( She also harassed my HOA manager as a way to try and intimidate and badmouth me ) As you can see in my review history , I have consistently received over 120 4-5 star reviews over many years . She has no review history at all . I leave it to you to judge which of us is being truthful .
