Great Location

The property location was wonderful. Just a short walk to the beach and 15 minutes drive to major shopping areas. The house was very clean and fits a family of 7 well.

The house was fine. It would have been nice to have fans in the bedrooms, a hair dryer, area rugs (our feet always felt dirty), lamps on night stands for reading, and a hose to wash our feet. We didn’t love crossing the street because cars did not stop often to let us cross even though there was a crosswalk. We would have appreciated notice on trash removal. We could have put out the cans. I’m assuming he was home owner but older man just showed up to clean the grill. He didn’t even introduce himself. We would have enjoyed the porch more if there were a table or more furniture. The furniture there was kinda nasty.

It was very clean, especially being a dog friendly rental. We weren't sure what to expect, but it exceeded our expectations. The proximity the beach is outstanding and the deck having a view of the ocean with both sunny and shady areas was great! We will be coming back!great. We

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took my daughter,her fiance his kids and my daughters kids. I have to say all the grandkids absolutely had a blast! It was only a few minutes walk to the beach.Great location!The starter on the grill didn't work so they brought us a lighter to start it. Great customer service. Also brought us a box fan to try and keep flies away on the deck. Overall a great vacation!

A Good Find

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a very nice experience. Easy walk over to the beach and the house was comfortable with everything needed. There are four bedrooms, one with a King, one with a Queen, one with two doubles, and one with four bunk beds. The kitchen and living space were well arranged and the deck was nice to sit out on. The location is good for our purposes although groceries are ~15 min away. The house was in good condition and well suited for families with kids. There are no beach amenities available to borrow from the house, no chairs, boogeyboards, umbrellas, etc. so be sure to bring your own. The garage itself is locked and unavailable for tenants so all our beach stuff just laid around outside at night. The outside shower needs a privacy barrier and a little work on the pipes. The neighbor behind the house is related to the owner and keeps an eye on the place. We went to nearby Virginia Beach Watersports a couple times and they were great, very friendly and helpful.

Next morning our property mgr was there. She ensured things were up to scratch then simply owned it, "This was my screw up, I am so very sorry." <- We will rent again b/c of this.
