2 bedroom house + Den with 2.5 baths + pull out bed (sleeps 6)

Need more space - check out 1 bedroom house on property - See property #2954989. Cute 1 bedroom house (sleeps 4 w/ pull out couch)

These homes rent separately or together. The two bedroom house and one bedroom house are on the same property, perfect individually or together for multi-family vacations and getaways.

The rental availability is 3 day minimum. Accommodations may be made upon request depending on availability. Just reach out and we respond very quickly. We are flexible and try to accommodate reasonable requests.

- The Red House (Main House): a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath house that sleeps 4 adults with 2 large comfortable living areas. The 1st floor bedroom has a queen size bed and a large attached full bath plus a room with a pull out couch. The 2nd floor bedroom has a king size bed with a large closet and an attached full bath. Do you have a young child or a baby? The 2nd floor is all bedroom and can be a quiet space for a pack and play or a twin size air mattress.

- The Little Red Beach House is a 1 bedroom separate unit that can sleep 4. Just steps from the main house the 1 bedroom home has a living room area with a pull out couch, 1 bathroom, cute kitchen and washer/dryer. This space could accommodate an additional family or perfect for teenagers or as “a mother in law suite". See property #2954989

There are two different outdoor spaces to enjoy. The front yard is fenced off, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Sit on the front porch with your morning coffee and watch the world pass by at a relaxed pace. The backyard has a brand new deck patio with a small grass area with a hammock for relaxing and a gas grill for creating those memorable summer dinners.

Perfect location/clean/comfortable

This home was perfect for our family! Very convenient location with a short walk to beach and into town. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms spacious. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

Great location and communication!

This was a perfect “up north” cottage for our stay (three adults). Plenty of space to feel comfortable and three bathrooms! The location is great (just a short walk to restaurants, etc.) and the hosts (offsite) were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and were available if there were any problems (there weren’t). There is a second, separate unit on the same property but the entrances are completely separate so there is no awkward ‘shared space’. Great stay. Thanks, hosts!!!

Time Stands Still

This Cottage was charming and peaceful, tastefully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen, and the front porch with the white wicker furniture for morning coffee makes one sit a while longer!! The cottage is also close to town and Van's beach, all within walking distance. I will be back again and again!!!

Summer fun in Leland!

We had a wonderful stay at the Red House! The location was perfect: Very quick walk to Van’s beach made it convenient for little kids. The small local grocery had everything we needed. All the cute Fishtown shops and activities were easy to access. The house itself was clean and updated. Loved the washer/ dryer and the grill. The owners were kind and easy to communicate with. Charming Quaint Cottage in A+ Location!

We recently stayed at this adorable cottage over the Fourth of July. The details of the house are super charming. It’s an older home but has been updated thoughtfully and kept well. The backyard has an updated deck with a small grassy area where my kids loved to play. The front yard is fenced in and another perfect spot for the kids to play. Tia and George were readily available to answer any questions and left us such a kind welcome. Location cannot be beat- my 2 and 4 year old could walk with me to town and the beach which made getting around a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

cozy home with the bells and whistles

For starters, the home was equip with exactly what we needed, from body wash to luxury linens, to comfortable towels, and so many comfy spots to chill. We slept like babies in the welcoming, cozy beds
 The proximity to everything is CLUTCH. We walked to Mad Hatter and Lelenau Coffee Co for breakfast each morning, Picnic and Harbor House for ice cream, and so many options to choose from for dinner. Vans beach is right down the block, super clean and spacious. The front porch gets plenty of warm sun in the morning, and being surrounded by the variety of perennials is quite calming for someone looking to really relax. The back deck is quiet and peaceful with a table and chairs and a hammock to read in. Everything was thought of and provided for in this home. Did I mention I randomly needed a can opener and scissors, and -what do ya know- both in the same drawer in the kitchen. We will definitely be returning because there’s so much to do in Leland!

Little Red House Tradition

We were lucky enough to book this adorable house pretty last minute, after returning from northern Michigan, and eager to come back with our boys. The host made check in and out easy and seamless. The place was exactly as described, and they even left a gift for us to enjoy in town. I hate to rave about this house in Leland because I don’t want others to find it. You and your family will make this place a tradition year after year and we are so thankful they shared this home with us. We did not prepare any meals inside the home, as we brought snacks and ate breakfast inside the house. you could easily prepare meals for a night in. the guest house, even though close by and not occupied with members with our family was not disruptive and those who stayed in it were friendly and courteous. Plenty of space to chill. Work. Read. All questions sent to the hosts were answered quickly. We look forward to returning â˜ș

Quaint Cottage on Main Street Close to Town

My husband and I had the best ever fall color tour last weekend. Don't remember any late October weekends where we had blue skies and temps in the 60s and 70s. The house is literally two blocks away and across the bridge from all the action. Great shopping and dining. We got to walk everywhere! Even rockhounding barefoot! We found lots of Petoskey stones! Hosts were very attentive and checked in on us to make sure we weren't missing anything. If you are looking for a quaint little house close to town look no further!

Relaxing Fall Getaway

Beautiful property located in the quaint town of Leland. The fall colors, local food and wine made for an enjoyable trip. The hosts were so kind and the house was cozy and inviting. Everything one could ask for including walking distance to the beach and downtown. Highly recommend this lovely house and destination.

Hi! We are George and Tia. We are so happy you are here to look at our homes and welcome you as a member of our family. Our homes are very personal to us and places we spend our family vacations.
During your stay, you will probably talk to George mostly who is the most knowledgeable about the area, the wineries, things to do and places to go. This picture was taken at a winery in Leelanau a few years ago. We like to bike, hike, shop, swim, boat, SUP, ski, sled and travel around the Peninsula on new adventures.
Why Leelanau? Well, if you are looking here, you are probably already familiar with its beauty. Personally for us, Leelanau is a magical place for us and our family. George first came up here camping as a young boy with his family. Eventually, they moved from the campground to a home on Lake Leelanau. This is the place we have spent many summers and now our kids have grown up spending summers in this magical county. We love to share this area with our friends and family and in 2020, we made a leap to buy property in our most favorite place in the world.
Since we stay at our properties (thanks to the ability to work remotely) on a regular basis year round, we are always improving the property for family time, play time and work. We are based in Chicago.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We passed this house many, many times so when it was being sold, we fell in love with it.
The location (we have spent many days and evenings on Van's Beach, eating ice cream at the Harbor House, fishing in Fishtown). The Leland House is ideal for our family with a separate Beach House for friends and family to stay when we vacation here.

What makes this Guest house unique
George is a commercial real estate broker by trade and has been in the real estate business for decades. A graduate of Central Michigan where he played football, he bought a house and rented it to his teammates. He has always had a passion for real estate as a way to investing and sharing these gifts with friends and family far and wide.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This place is versatile. If you rent the Red House and its Beach House, you have lots of space to enjoy the property or visit Van's Beach or the quaint town of Leland. Our kids ride their bikes or walk in town, they go to Nedow's Beach and swim in Lake Leelanau or sled in the wintertime and Leland Lodge.
