Welcome to The Millstream Cottage, our newly built Creekside pool house with exclusive access to our private family pool for the duration of your stay! Pool is open May - October. Enjoy this beautiful home away from home only one mile from Dutch Wonderland, Tanger Outlets, local entertainment, downtown Lancaster. Experience the tranquility of being surrounded by nature yet having all your activities close by!

We are pleased to have built a beautiful space for you to enjoy in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania! As a Superhost on other lodging sites, we bring you professional and thoughtful care during your stay! The Millstream Cottage is the perfect blend of country and city living.

Please make yourself at home with walks along the Mill Creek, morning coffee in the gazebo, and a glass of wine to end the day on your own private patio, or around your own secluded firepit. Enjoy full and private access to the private swimming pool which is directly connected to the cottage.

Please note that we have a one year old, very kind, and friendly German Shepherd named Ally. She will be outside some of the time. She has an invisible fence, which will keep her from coming near the cottage.

Our home is located along a beautiful, winding stream called the Mill Creek. You will have access to your own private patio, a large gazebo on top of the hill, and over one acre of property to explore and enjoy.

We live on the same property as The Millstream Cottage and look forward to serving you in any way we can. Please let us know if you're celebrating a special occasion and we'll do our best to make it even more meaningful!

The house is extremely beautiful, it is kept very well

I absolutely love the home, the extreme care and attention to detail that went into every corner was absolutely shown.The only thing I would let a prospective renter know before staying here is the second bedroom is more of loft/kids area and very small.

Perfect weekend getaway

Our family of 4 enjoyed every detail of the cottage! The high end finishes combined with a kids room upstairs and in ground pool made it the perfect getaway. We enjoyed saying hello to our neighbors and Ally while we there as well!

Perfect Stay

The cutest well appointed cottage on a scenic river. My husband and two young children stayed for two nights while we were in town for an event. I only wish we had been able to stay longer!

This property is beautifully kept and in a great location. Close to all the fun in Lancaster with your own pool. Several little touches throughout the property and the owners are super responsive. We plan on coming back in the future!

Quiet Fall Retreat

My Daughter and I needed a fall getaway for some quiet time and this was perfect for a few days. It was very much like a small cottage. The second bedroom is on the 2nd floor and more geared for children but the first floor bedroom is very comfortable and both beds gave a great nights sleep. Beautiful kitchen and comfortable seating in the living room. We had a lovely time.

Perfect Lancaster vacation

Perfect place to stay to tour Lancaster County. Beautiful little cottage perfect for our family of four. Pool was amazing, the week was a heat wave and Janelle maintained the pool every day so that it was safe for the kids to swim. Location was in the middle of everything yet in a very quiet setting. Needless to say it was a relaxing week. Thanks again and the kids are already asking to go back next year.

Cozy Cottage-Centrally Located

Our stay at the Millstream Cottage was lovely. Such a cozy and comfortable place to come back to after long days of shopping. The house was spotless and we loved getting to shop Millstream Home products in the attached studio. We're so happy to have found this rental and look forward to returning.

Perfect Location and Cottage

We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend while visiting Lancaster and Hershey. The owners thought of everything. The house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. My girls loved swimming in the pool and swinging on the tree swing. Ally, the dog, was also a highlight! 10/10 would recommend!

Weekend escape

The cottage was perfect and centrally located. We had tickets to Sight and Sound, which was 10 minutes away from the cottage. The rest of the weekend we spent by the pool, enjoyed the fire pit and relaxed. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you would need. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Beautiful and Quaint Home perfect for anyone needing to relax

We loved our stay here at the cottage! We have visited Lancaster a few times, and this has been one of our favorite stays. It's close to many popular locations like Downtown Lancaster and Dutch Wonderland. Also, the house was perfect for families with children. Not to mention the hosts were very hospitable and welcoming. Wonderful cottage with all the amenities!

Beautiful quaint property with many amenities and very close to downtown Lancaster and Tanger outlets while maintaining the authentic Amish charm. The hosts were super friendly. The family dog, Ellie, was super sweet and greeted us every day while playing outside. There is a lot to do that don't require screens, so it provided a nice break from the technology dominated lives we all live these days. Everything was ad advertised. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing long weekend at the cottage. Jake, Janelle and family are so accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Grammy Annie is the sweetest and Ally greeted us every time we returned. The creek is beautiful, and the pool area and cottage are so thoughtfully crafted. We will definitely be returning. We can't say enough about this property. It was absolutely beautiful and met all of our expectations. The owners spared no expense in building and decorating this cottage. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. We had a lovely and peaceful weekend despite the rainy weather. We will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful pool. The location of the property is ideal - quiet yet close to everything. Many thanks to J&J. We highly recommend staying here.

Perfect long-weekend getaway!

We really enjoyed the long weekend we spent at the cottage with our two young children. The cottage had everything we needed and more and the kids loved the toys and books and the tree swing! A pack and play and a high chair were available for our 1 year old which was a huge help! The cottage, pool and property are all so calming and beautiful and we would love to stay again sometime. It was nice to be greeted by Ally when leaving or returning and we enjoyed the interactions we had with Janelle and some of her children. Highly highly recommend! :)
