This cottage was built around 1900 as a carriage house of the Mose Beer house, a classic Victorian. It has one main bedroom with a king bed, plus a loft with a bed that can be expanded from a twin to a king. It was recently converted from a carriage house into an adorable cottage with all the amenities you would expect in any modern home: full kitchen with all appliances, Internet, smart TV, washer, dryer, and a full bathroom. It's conveniently located in downtown Natchez, near everything.
My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved it! With the cottage being tucked away, it was very quiet and peaceful! The decor and detail throughout the cottage was stunning! We were able to walk to about any restaurant/shop/bar. We canât wait to come back!
The cottage is so cute!!! We loved all the amenities. The retro look was perfect. Walking distance to just about everywhere we wanted to go. We felt very safe!We definitely will recommend it to our friends and family, and will choose it again for another getaway to Natchez !
Convenient location and an adorable house. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were great about communicating. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.
We were looking for a place that was close to everything downtown Natchez, not overly priced, and cozy. This cottage fit the bill for us and had everything that we needed.
My kids and I had a great time visiting Natchez! I highly recommend this adorable carriage house! We had everything we needed during our short stay. Everything was provided.. towels, washcloths, kitchen utensils, extra blankets. They also provided laundry soap and shampoos/conditioners. Stratton, the host, went above and beyond for us. Her hospitality is why we will definitely be booking the carriage house on our next visit!
We had a wonderful time staying at the Carriage House while in Natchez. It was the ideal place to stay! Spacious, festively and beautifully decorated, very clean, fabulous location and great communication with the manager. Perfect for all we needed. Thank you, Stratton
We enjoyed our 12 day stay at the Carriage House while we were researching ancestors who settled in the Natchez area in the late 1700âs. Walking the Bluff Trail was an every evening activity, located only one block from the Carriage House. Extremely quiet with easy access to downtown restaurants and attractions.
We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage Cottage very much. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. Everything was clean, kitchen well equipped, and king bed was very comfortable. My only suggestion is to change out the sofa in living area to something more comfortable. Hope we can stay again sometime.
Great little hideaway to escape for the weekend. Clean and everything we needed. The couch was not ideal for lounging and watching tv, but it worked for a couple of tired parents away for the weekend without kids. Great place!
The Accomodations were fantastic.......The Neighborhood was "jaw dropping"....
We've already recommended it to Family & Friends.
Thanks for making our 45th Anniversary a wonderful celebration.
The carriage house provided a fabulous atmosphere for our stay in Natchez. It provided all the conveniences neededâvery clean and accommodating. Host was very good with communication-checked in a couple of times to make sure all was going well and responded back quickly when I reached out. Would definitely return if in the area again.
This Cottage was in great location, close to downtown , tucked away behind a larger home . The decor inside was so cute and very comfortable! Very roomy overall with an open floor plan, full kitchen , living room ,spacious bathroom with a washer/ dryer.
Great master bedroom with king bed . Our host was very accommodating!
Definitely recommend!
Absolutely amazing.
We loved everything about our stay.
Random strange: the Ring on the little sitting patio.
Otherwise: full kitchen and bathroom stuff, plus laundry.
Tons of little touches that make it feel like home.
An incredible historical neighborhood to walk through on the way to the Mississippi River walking path.
Walking into the property my wife immediately smiles and says whoever renovated this has my style. Itâs shabby chic in an old town with plenty of history. We where able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do from the cottage.
Generally a very acceptable property. The driveway down to the property is extremely narrow & rough. The spiral staircase to the loft area is very narrow & pretty tricky when handling luggage. Overall acceptable experience
