Above the Law

Luxury apartment above a former law office.
Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Natchez.
Off street parking, huge landscaped courtyard.
Front and rear balconies
Building is an 1870’s commercial building.
Fully equipped kitchen.
Formal dining room
Living room with balcony over Franklin Street.
Beautifully furnished, with premium towels and bedding.
2 full en-suite bathrooms with tubs with showers.

About 2,000 sqft.

Check in, if before 5 p.m. (Mon-Sat), is next door at my Antique Shop - Lower Lodge Antiques 712 Franklin Street.
Our guests have access to a private “members only” pool in downtown Natchez. Pool open Labor Day to Memorial Day. Pool about 7 blocks from apartment - short drive or an easy walk.

After 5 p.m. and on Sundays we normally use a lock box for check ins. While we do not charge a separate cleaning fee with booking, for long-term stays maid service can be arranged on request (additional fees may apply).

This property is uniquely beautiful and feels like home. The place was filled with interesting antiques and gorgeous decor. Little things like coffee varieties, snacks, games, and a bottle of wine were all waiting for us to arrive. It was perfect for two couples with the privacy of our own bathrooms and its own parking lot. It was close to a great coffee/breakfast shop and centrally located downtown to walk around all the little shops and restaurants. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We would stay again!

Our host made sure we had everything to be comfortable while we were visiting. We had plenty of options to choose whether to stay in and enjoy the balconies or venture out on the town. Everything was wonderful! The apartment is so warm and inviting and it had any amenity we could ask for. The private balcony was a big plus and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This property was a well maintained property as the listing described. The hosts were very good to communicate with and were helpful with the few issues that we had during our stay. From my understanding, this unit is usually very peaceful. However, to no fault of the host, there was an extremely noisy bar across the road on our night of arrival. The police had to be called out. The host was as helpful as he could be at this time. We were assured by the host and by some return renters that this problem is not customary and very rare. Other than this bar, the location is optimal for shopping and dining. I feel that others would enjoy this unit, but you do need to wait to check in on a Monday to avoid the Sunday night bar party across the street. Having said these things, the host was one of the best that we have worked with and made staying at this unit pleasurable.

Lived in this apartment from 1992.

It was a home for many years - it still feels personal. It has art, several collections, and even artwork by the owner.
When I moved I only took a few items and left it as my home. (Just did another one!)
It is still used by my family at certain times during the year.
