Captivating views and inviting amenities throughout this beautiful spacious log home are relaxing to everyone. The area's finest craftsmen/artisans built this tranquil home ideally suited for the perfect getaway for 2-14 guests. Three fireplaces both inside and outside on the upper porch help create a rustic comfort with a view of both the mountains and prestine Norris Lake. Cedar Grove Marina is just five minutes away with ample watercraft rentals.
The main level, loft and second level are accessible to guests along with the two entire levels of wrap around porches. Stone throughout the cabin with hand hewn logs makes the indoor and outdoor fireplace , Amish rocking chairs and leather couch even more inviting.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Everything was exactly as describedâclean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The host was responsive and made the check-in process seamless. We especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings and cozy atmosphereâit was the perfect place to relax and recharge. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway, and we hope to stay here again in the future!
Beautiful inside and out. Community is peaceful and a landmark from the lake. We took a boat trip to hwy 33 bridge and back to Cedar Grove Marina. We had a great time with a speed boar rental. Our ancestors came through Claiborne County after the Rev. War. I loved the Cumberland Park history. Great location.
First of all, the house was perfect, exactly what we wanted, which was a retreat style house. The view was incredible, and the spaces inside gave us all room to spread out, but also still feel together. I would definitely stay here again. The house was mostly clean, but there were a lot of dust bunnies and some dog hair around. No other complaints, though. The listing stated that the kayaks were at the marina, but they weren't there. Then, when we were on a walk, we saw the kayaks under the porch. Since we didn't have a way to transport them, we couldn't take them out. That was disappointing.Check-in was a bit stressful, because we didn't get any instructions at all, so I tried messaging Russ the morning of our stay, and when I didn't get a response for a few hours, I tried calling him. When he didn't pick up, I called the VRBO customer support, and they were able to get through to him, whereupon we connected, and things went fine from there. Russ was a very nice host, very welcoming and helpful. I just wish the communication had been a little better. There was a dog that was an Australian Shepherd mix that hung around our house the entire week we were there. He was very well-trained and great with the children. We ended up asking around to see if he was an abandoned dog or not, and one of the houses down the road said that they thought he was the farm's dog. Since he was so well-trained, we didn't mind his company (the kids loved it!).Overall positive experience!
Itâs a beautiful cabin with a great view and so relaxing environment. Perfect for families, friends and even for your puppies. The owner was very gentle.
Russ was the perfect host, very friendly and welcoming. House was simply amazing!!! Truly a blessing to have somewhere that beautiful to stay during my son's wedding
This house was amazing! Russ was great! We rented a pontoon from Cedar Grove Marina and spent a day on Norris Lake. We saw so many deer, and a bear! My brother got engaged on the deck with the smokies in the background. We will definitely be back.
This home was absolutely perfect for our family's spring break getaway. We had plenty of space, yet enjoyed a lot of time together sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Just a quick drive to groceries and shopping- yet still enjoying the privacy and solitude of the mountains! House was well appointed, clean and exactly as described/pictured. Can't wait to return to this Tennessee gem!
This was the best air b and b we have stayed at. Was fully stocked and I love how when guests leave spices etc it didnât go to waste. Manager was nice and fixed the one issue we had with the grill. The hills to get to location was a bit difficult with a boat but manageable. Parking you can fit 4-6 vehicles. Overall for price and location itâs great!
The cabin was just as pictured, the surrounding deck with views was amazing. You could watch the fog rise up from the lake every morning while having your coffee. Very well stocked cabin, gorgeous baths, great laundry room with supplies. The beds were a little firm for us, but weâre used to pillow top mattresses. Russ met us at the cabin and was very sweet. He called the marina minutes away from the cabin to be sure we could rent a boat (we got a 15% discount because we were renters with Russ). It youâre looking for quiet peaceful getaway close to Norris Lake away from the craziness of Pigeon Forge, this is it.
The host was very welcoming and made us feel at home at the property. The view was also amazing and in a quiet environment that helped my grandparents get some much needed relaxation
