Two bedroom two bath (ensuite) marsh front home. Perfect for a relaxing respite. The quiet location and beautiful views are spell bounding. Sunsets on the creek and marsh take your breath away. Great for birding, kayaking and nature watching. You will love seeing dolphins in the creek at high tide. Near Sapelo Island, Harris Neck Wildlife Preserve and all the history and beauty of Darien and McIntosh County, GA. A birder's delight and a fisherman's paradise.
We had an amazing stay. The house was so cozy and had everything needed for us. The view is even more beautiful in person. We definitely plan to come back!
Wonderful, quite place on the marsh. Owner was wonderful to work with. Property just needed a little work. Photos need updating for a more accurate property description.
This was truly one of our most favorite getaways of all time. We vacationed at this beautiful, spotless, most comfortable abode for a full month. It is so peaceful and beautiful and private. We are not capable of saying enough positive things about this home. It has everything one needs and was truly a 'home away from home'.
We loved it instantly⊠elevated panoramic views and lots of birdlife. Everything we needed was there. Very quiet. If there is a glitch in being the perfect place, it would be intermittent WiFi. Cellular service was good.
We stayed at the Marsh House with some friends after Hurricane Idaliađ. The owners made sure that everything was up and running and cleaned up after the hurricane, before we came out, so that we werenât without power.
It was such a Healing Respite to be in such a beautiful space out in Nature. đđł
The land is so rich with wildlife! I would highly recommend this place to stay if you are looking to spend some quality time away from the distractions of the world. đ
We will definitely be back and we will recommend it to all our friends that are looking for a Healing Retreat Space. đ
Love the location of this house. The marsh is such an interesting place. It's the perfect for us. The kitchen was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was a great space for our dog. She very much enjoyed tge squirrels and visiting with the neighbor's dogs. The neighbors were great and very friendly. This property is very nice but coukd be improved with a screened in back porch. The sand gnats made it impossible to enjoy the porch sometimes. The TV only offered Roku so there was no local live TV or regular programming. We stayed for a month and really enjoyed this house. It could benefit from a chest of drawers in the master suite for longer stays. It did have 2 nice closets. On the whole we enjoyed this house and the quiet neighborhood.
We spent 3 months wintering on the property and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Property manager very easy to work with. House is as advertised, beds comfortable, a little lacking in plates and cookware, but we mentioned it to manager and believe it will be addressed. In all, we loved the location, and the sunsets(!), and would return to this gem.
When you grow up in this area with the beauty, history and delightful people of this unique area you must be able to come back and rejuvenate. Mary's Sunset Creek does that and more.
