Profitez d'une tranquille vie insulaire sur la baie de Chesapeake dans une belle maison de plage Waterview et est situé dans une petite ville Waterview. Ce entièrement et récemment rénové, le style de cape, Bayview maison est sur 3 acres, où vous pourrez profiter des fers à cheval à jouer, volley-ball, crabfeasts et cookouts sur notre grill barbecue à gaz.

Suivre nos crabiers commerciales arrivent avec leurs prises et acheter crabes et les huîtres droit hors du bateau au prix de gros! Alors amusez-les cuire à droite dans la cour sur notre pot de vapeur maison! Apportez vos filets de crabe que vous marchez genou élevé et surprenez vos propres crabes mous. Pêche et de crabe est abondante sur l'île. Apportez votre bateau et faire les deux, ou vous pouvez organiser un voyage sur nos bateaux charters de pêche locaux. (Bateau rampe à quelques minutes.)
Nous avons plusieurs usines de fruits de mer qui offrent des crabes cuits à la vapeur douce, la chair de crabe fraîche et ramassé softcrabs. Voilà si vous préférez ne pas les faire cuire vous-mêmes.

Nous sommes situés dans les meilleures zones de chasse et de sébaste de l'Amérique du Nord. Aussi disponible canard et cerf propriétés de chasse. Cette Waterfront communautaire de l'Île offre kayak au sanctuaire d'oiseaux. Avec binaculars vous pouvez voir les Seahawks Eagles chauve, Osprey, hérons, cygnes, pélicans et autres oiseaux rares. Explorez les rivages et les criques pour des artefacts indiens, de coquillages et de verre de mer.

Si vous souhaitez visiter les cours d'eau par bateau, pour la pêche, "Île Hoopers Expeditions" serait le chemin à parcourir! Adam vous amène à plus beaux spots de pêche autour!
Si vous souhaitez louer des pédalos, des kayaks, des vélos, ou motomarines, les pagaies et colporte Blackwater Susan serait le chemin à parcourir! Elle est située près de la célèbre "Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge," un rêve amateurs de plein air!
Si vous êtes propriétaire de votre bateau et la recherche d'un endroit pour les stocker, "PL Jones Boatyard" est seulement une minute de Bayview. Ils seront heureux de vous louer un slip pour une semaine ou week-end. Il y a aussi beaucoup de place pour le garder dans la cour à Bayview, puis poussez-le par-dessus bord à notre bateau sans rampe à quelques minutes de la maison.

Bike l'île. Ride to Old Salty pour le déjeuner, mieux connu pour ses fruits de mer frais, petits pains faits maison et des tartes mile haute meringe! La salle à manger a de belles waterviews tout en mangeant !! Dans le dos de connaître les gens du pays à la «forme de bateau" bar. Vous pouvez les entendre parler de la prise de la journée et de leurs expériences sur le bateau.
     . Les routes sont plates et pittoresque, agréable à rouler ou marcher votre chien. Prendre un bain sur notre plage publique que vous regardez pour les pointes de flèches, ou en voiture 70 minutes de la célèbre Ocean City Boardwalk et de la plage. Passez la journée à nager dans l'océan et profiter des boutiques, des restaurants, des mini-parcs de golf d'amusement et épicerie fine qu'ils ont à offrir.

Dans ma location me reste environ 100 dépliants / brochures d'activités pour chaque expérience de vacances! Conduisez 15 minutes pour la Réserve faunique nationale de Blackwater, conduire autour du refuge, arrêter et faire la nature des promenades et des pistes cyclables. L'observation des oiseaux est très populaire ici, où les aigles à tête blanche prospèrent.
Arrêtez-vous dans le centre centres de visiteurs de la boutique de cadeaux et d'informations, voir les animaux sauvages en peluche sur l'affichage. Et regardez le Cam Web en direct des aigles nichant leurs jeunes.

Le réglage et la solitude est exceptionnelle, que vous prenez dans les vues tranquilles de la baie de Chesapeake. Buvez votre Am. café sur le porche, où le soir, vous avez le "vue dégagée" parfaite des couchers de soleil sur la baie! Quand il est temps de se retirer dans la soirée détendez-vous avec un bon livre sur nos sièges de fenêtre entièrement éclairés. Passer la soirée?
Cambridge offre un éventail de choix de restaurants, de cinémas, ou le Hyatt Chesapeake pour les visites de golf ou spa. Visitez les villes pittoresques de Saint- Michaels, et Oxford. Notre Bayview Accueil est la parfaite détente escapade en famille, retraite, vacances ou quelle que soit l'occasion espoir de vous voir ici pour votre plaisir de vacances !!!

A great place on Hoopers Island

A wonderful long weekend getaway on Hoopers Island--close to the bay and to the attractions of the island. Laura is a great host who ensured we had everything we needed for our stay--a roomy house with a great screened in gazebo and plenty of activities for our elementary school aged kids. Highly recommend it!

Great relaxing getaway !!

We loved our stay at Bay-View! Laura was an excellent host. The house was so clean. Check in was easy. The location is only steps from Hoopers Island road, to bicycle to the bridge, or view the beautiful marinas and waterfronts. The general store is only down the road. We biked the area right before sunet which was beautiful. We seen eagles,brown pelicans. The Osprey already migrated south by early October. A short drive 15 minutes to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge offered great photos and smooth bike riding. Bring mosquito repellant for warm days. We didnt have any problems with mosquitos because the temperatures were in the high 50s in the day and high 40s at night. Lauras home had plenty of items to help with having my Border collie along. There was a pooper scooper for cleanups outside,a long cable and plenty of different sized tie outs for letting your dog outside to do her business. 😁 Each bedroom had a fan in it if you like white noise. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and blankets were very smooth and soft. The house had AC and Heat. Plenty of channels to watch on TV. A smart TV with lots of apps and channels. Both porches were great, especially the enclosed gazebo. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay. Robbin 10/8/23

Destination Wedding on Hooper's Island

Everything was very clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We would have liked more double beds for couples, but space was limited so that's probably not possible. The half bath was in the same room as one twin bed, so in order to give privacy to guests using that bathroom, no one slept in that bed. Over all, our experience was very pleasant and we would rent there again if the occasion arose. Landlady was especially helpful and accommodating!

Wonderful Stay on the Bay

We can’t say enough great things about our stay. Laura was a wonderful host and has thought of every possible detail. The property was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you could need. All the seating and beds were comfortable. AC worked great, TV has plenty of channels and streaming. All the bathrooms were very clean and operational. The screen porch was a wonderful location for meals! The location is very close to many water activities but the best part for us was the peace and quiet. Most of the time all we could hear was the breeze. Laura even arranged to deliver us some crabs!! We’ll look forward to staying again!

Hooper Island Getaway

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for a few nights but the time we were there was very enjoyable. Laura is definitely one of the best hosts you can imagine. She went above and beyond making our stay very enjoyable. She provided almost everything needed for fishing and crabbing. Whether it was the crab pots, fishing polls, bait and even some very detailed instructions! The only thing you'll need to do is get the licenses which are available at the local general store. Laura provided us with local contacts to purchase crabs as we needed a lot for a little family get together that we were having. We also ended up steaming the crabs ourselves and she went above beyond finding us a steamer at the last moment. The house comes with the perfect outside eating area. It has lights, a fan and most importantly its screened! The Mosquitoes on Hooper's Island are no joke and the General store even sells shirts calling them the Hooper's Island Air Force! If you are bringing kids, the rental provides TONS of games and outside activities for them to do. We had a great time playing the customized Dorchester County Monopoly game. Thanks again Laura for the great stay!

We love Fishing Creek !

This house was perfect for our trip to Hoopers Island. We were in town for the Bluegrass Festival at Old Salty’s so the location could not have been more perfect. The house has every possible thing you could need for your stay. Laura is extremely responsive and helpful. She has extensive knowledge of the area and has many great recommendations for things to do and see. The screened in area out front was perfect for spending time with our pets and eating. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch and drinking coffee while we watched the wildlife, which is abundant in the area. The general store is 1 mile away, which was easily accessible via bicycle. There are a lot of outdoor activities in the area. I would highly recommend this home and the host!

So Comfortable

The property manager is delightful. Easy to see so much thought went into to provide a vacation sanctuary—well stocked home. Even the outside area had so much to offer—picnic table, recreation goodies, fishing equipment, etc. The best are the beautiful sunrise and sunsets on front porch. I’m going to miss these moments.

Excellent host and stay

This was our second stay in 4 months and once again Laura is a super host! Communication is top notch! She is driven to accommodate any requests and her main concern is that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Clean, peaceful and an awesome place to explore or unwind. Convenient to downtown Cambridge yet just around the corner from abundant nature and unmatched beauty!

Perfect vacation

My family and I had the best vacay ever! The house was amazing so clean and fully stocked with everything you would need! We stayed only a week which was not long but with staying a week we had the option for a fishing trip which my bf loved and so did the kids (we caught so many) we are already making plans to come back and stay longer! Highly recommend for family's! There was so much fun with all the family activities provided and even if you just want a quiet get away you will not be disappointed!! Only tip for renting make sure to do a week or longer you will not want to leave the hospitality is one of a kind the town is one of a kind the experience is one of a kind! Cant wait to bring my family back soon the kids are already asking when we can go back on Mrs. Laura's boat and fish again! Loved seeing all the different wild life and searching for there famous sea glass! Looking foward to seeing y'all soon!!

Sweet family getaway

My family (4 adults, 1 teen and 2 children) loved our stay! The house was clean and cozy. I actually loved it a lot more in person than when I saw the pictures! Inside the bedrooms were comfortable, the living room was stocked with toys, games and cute like puzzles. Outside was great! The large picnic table, tree swing and front porch made for amazing memories. Finally, the levers owners were amazing!!! Communication was fantastic and the fishing trip offered was the best I’ve ever been on. We were catching fish 2 at a time. Highly recommend a low key stay in this sweet home.

Peaceful and beautiful

Laura’s place is a little of piece of heaven. It is located in a very remote area, full of beautiful birds and amazing sunsets. We had a restful time watching osprey flying in and out from her nest right in front of the house and lots of amazingly fresh soft and hard crabs from super friendly locals. Laura is an amazing host who took the time to show us how to use her crab traps and ensured we were well taken care of. The house was super clean and contained all the comforts of home. Thank you Laura for wonderful memories. We will be back. FYI, mom loved her bedroom 😀. Lee family

Peaceful & Pretty

We loved staying at Laura’s property. It was cozy with tons of spaces to sleep and hang out. The kitchen was fully equipped, there were so many board games available, and the front and back yards were great for relaxing and having coffee or a beer. We also loved the steamed crabs! We would love to come back!

Fantastic bay view Getaway

Fresh oysters, lump crabmeat, fire pit, sunsets, sea glass hunting, fishing, and a comfy, cozy super clean home to relax in. Laura and John are hosts extraordinaire! John had the fire pit set up and brought us fresh oysters. Laura dropped off crabmeat and a lighter. We found the house very warm and inviting. Our two dogs loved the big yard to explore and play fetch. We want to return when it’s warmer. Great place!!

Fantastic Mini-Getaway

Husband and I took a short trip during the pandemic to recharge. The house was clean and comfortable. The owners were attentive, responsive, and friendly. What an amazing experience in Fishing Creek and with Laura. We will be back next year!

The property was perfect for what we were looking for! The house was clean and contained all necessary accessories for experienced and beginners to fish and crab. The neighbors are extremely welcoming along with Laura the property manager. Laura provides an experience of a lifetime in the quaint home! We set on the front porch every evening after a long day on the water and enjoyed the views of the sunset and water. I will definitely return next year!

Owner was extremely helpful

We had a great experience at this home. The owner was very helpful and left detailed instructions for us, helpful hints about the property, and local info. The house was very clean and well kept. It’s an older home but is well maintained and has all the modern conveniences - plus it is dog friendly which we really appreciated. We were visiting for a small family wedding and didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time at the house, but we wished we could have spent more time in the back yard. It had a nice fire pit area and lots of fun activities for our teenager. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet weekend away. There is a restaurant within walking distance and a general store not far away which is super convenient. We give this one 5 stars.

Great getaway!

We appreciated the quiet get away from DC for a long weekend. We loved the front porch -- nice breeze and view of the water. Laura also arranged to deliver us steamed crabs on Friday night which was a great treat!

We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. Was quiet and peaceful. Saw and heard several ospreys in the front. Was quite clean upon arrival so less concerned during this pandemic. Laura was very responsive. She also offered and delivered crabs(they were delicious!) for us which was such a unique touch. We also appreciated bait for crabbing she provided for us. Mosquitoes happen to be bad when we went and we appreciated different kinds of bug sprays that were available. We enjoyed exploring the island and nearby areas.

My family and I love living here on the island we have raised our children here and now our grandchildren. We can not think of a better place to be in the world!!! We really enjoy fishing,crabbing,kayaking,and biking the island.
We mostly love catching the fish and crabs then cooking them up for a fresh seafood dinner!!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This was the home my husband was raised in. It was left to us , so we completely renovated it all new inside, and now rent it so others can enjoy our nice cozy home. As you see the way of life here as the watermen work on the bay and come in daily with their catches. What a great experience!!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Enjoy steaming your own blue claw crabs we get fresh daily off the boats at wholesale prices. Cooking them right in the backyard! Or we can get the crabs ALREADY COOKED!! Also In the fall thru winter, you can buy oysters right off the boats. Then in the evening sit on the porch and watch the sun set over the Bay!
