The location was perfect for nearby shopping, beach’s and the parks. We did a few tours and was within a block of the pickup location and we had a blast. I would definitely book thru Ali'i Beach Rentals and VRBO again and will suggest it to friends and family.

We're so glad the view, cleanliness, and beach gear made a great impression! We do want to note that the lanai maintenance and building updates are disclosed in our property description, and we always encourage guests to review those details before booking so there are no surprises. As for salt, pepper, and cooking oils, we made the decision to remove those items for sanitary reasons. We appreciate the feedback and hope you'll consider staying with us again. Mahalo!

The host was excellent. Great communications, and everything was as described. I gave it four stars because of the hallways leading to the condo. There is a noticeable musty smell. This has nothing to do with the condo, but it is a poor first impression of the building. The location is good, easy walking to the beaches, restaurants and shops. The condo is old, but nicely refurbished. Not fancy, but comfortable. The view of the harbor and ocean is great. Really nice to wake up to. Another plus was having a car rental company right in the building. Island Rental had a Mustang convertible for 99/day. We’d definitely stay here again.

We're sorry to hear that you experienced the construction noise during the last two days of your stay. We understand how disruptive that must have been. Please note that our condo is part of a building managed by individual homeowners, which schedules all maintenance independently. As outlined in our Reservation Policy and Terms & Conditions, we have no control over building-wide construction schedules or disturbances. We encourage guests to contact us immediately if issues arise during their stay so we can assist in real-time. We appreciate your understanding of these circumstances. Mahalo for you understanding

Exceeded our expectations

We enjoyed our stay more than we thought we would. It was quieter than we thought it would be, being so close to bustling Waikiki. This condo faces the ocean and harbor which we loved, but it also reduced the noise. We loved watching the sunsets, the boats coming and going, the fireworks, and being able to walk everywhere! The building is older, but i think it helped reduce the noise. I would definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been staying at the Ilikai Marina every December for the last 30 years and am very happy with the location.
