We very much enjoyed the condo, the sunset views were amazing. It had everything you needed to cook your meals. We loved the dock and spent most evenings fishing. The walk to the public access for the beach was an easy walk.

Best place to stay on SPI!

This was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed at SPI. The condo is so clean and so roomy. A very well stocked home. If you forget something, it’s probably available in the condo. Beach towels, fishing poles, cooking oil, just everything. We especially loved the fishing pier.

Wonderful Winter

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful unit for five months last winter. It is a beautiful unit, classy and comfortable. You have it all. It is quiet, yet something to watch all the time from inside or out of unit you have a view of the bay. From there you can watch wind surfers, fisherman, kite boards, party cruises, pelican's, dolphins,(and hear them from balcony), fish jumping out of the water. Always entertainment of some kind. If you get tired of that, you are in walking distance of restaurants, bars, and shopping. If it wasn't for my husbands health issues would be back there this coming winter. For the lucky people that are, enjoy!

Beautiful & Relaxing

Communication was great. Very responsive owner and property manager. The condo was beautiful. The view was amazing. The sunsets were stunning. We saw dolphins swim by several times. We saw sharks and stingrays as well. There is a dock for easy fishing, though January is not conducive for catching fish. The condo itself had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. I can't say enough about the views from the dining room and balcony. Photos don't do it justice. I do recommend bringing gallon jugs of water. SPI water does not taste good. The location of the condo was convenient to everything on the island. I enjoyed that there is a sidewalk on Laguna, just one block down from the condo. I was able to take lovely walks almost every day. We recommend visiting the Turtle Sanctuary. 🐢 That was eye opening. Everyone in our group enjoyed it. Gabriella's Pizza Express was very delicious. Nautico had some great fish tacos. We went on a guided fishing tour in the bay, and our guide recommended Los Tortugas in Port Isabel to cook up our catch. They did not disappoint. We highly recommend this condo. We'd love to stay here again in the future.

Large 3 bedroom! Boat slip! Gated property with covered parking. Unmatched view of Bay & Sunsets!

Beautiful, roomy, 3-bedroom top floor condo with breathtaking views of Laguna Madre. Nightly sunsets were simply spectacular! Balcony patio is a perfect spot for a glass of wine and to take in all the activities on the bay. A short walk to pick up my morning latte 'at Cafe Karma 'they knew me by name' and then a relaxing walk on the beach! Water activities were easily available, paddle boarding, wind surfing, jet skiing, etc. We got wind surfing lessons and were able to rent, equipment right next door to the condo. The unit comes with a boat slip, we have a 22' ft boat - it was well protected. My husband would just walk on to the boat in the morning, catch some trout and clean them at the convenient fish cleaning station all in time for breakfast. The slip made it easy to enjoy fishing and time on the water, but we also caught fish from the large dock. The property is gated, the host arranged for us to have a remote for the. There is a large elevator, this was handy to assist us when taking luggage and groceries to the condo. The condo has modern appliances. There is a pool, hot tub (another perfect spot to enjoy the sunset), and sauna. In addition, the host provided a reference list of restaurants, activities, spa salons, which was very nice! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :)

Misrepresented

We chose this location from the online pictures and description of the property, with views of the bay. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the outside shutter to the dining area was broken (closed). It appeared that the owner was aware of this before we rented the property. We wish we had been informed!!! We were very disappointed!

It is unfortunate the shutter broke. After contacting several service companies, all of which were concerned with reaching the shutter, the company who agreed to repair this backed out two days prior to the renters arrival.. The repair requires a 5 story high scaffolding on the water side of the building and the service techs would not climb that high. I have finally located a company willing to reach this shutter and it will be repaired in the next month. Hopefully!! Unfortunately the delayed repair was beyond my control and I was most disappointed this did not happen as promised by the contractor. Safety is a major concern when reaching 5 stories above ground. I could not force the shutter repair service to risk their workers safety.. I appreciate your comments and know you were greatly disappointed. Kathleen

Excellent Time had by all

Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. The pictures don't do it justice. My husband and I truly enjoyed watching the sunset from the kitchen, dining and living rooms. The ability to step outside the condo and take the boat for a ride or a day of fishing was truly delightful. The fully stocked kitchen was the best we have seen on the island. We did not lack for anything while here. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Perfect Vacation

We stayed here for five days and we loved the location close to the bay and not far from the beach. Its also close to windsurfing and the local shops and restaurants. The unit is newly furnished with modern appliances. It has great views of the sunset over the Bay.
