Welcome to our northern Michigan retreat on Lake Martin. Placed just a few miles outside of Gaylord, MI on peaceful Martin Lake.

Our property comfortably sleeps 7 with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

This updated townhome, about 10 minutes from downtown Gaylord, on quiet Lake Martin. Conveniently located near to many golf courses, atv trails and ski hills this home is a year round retreat. A very short drive from downtown Gaylord (10 minutes), and many other desirable locations- Boyne mountain (16 minutes), Treetops (19 minutes), Boyne city (26 minutes) and Petoskey (36 minutes). Quaint non-motorized Lake Martin is perfect for fishing or kayaking. The public Gaylord golf club is less than 5 minutes away for the golf lover in your family.

Updated furnishings and decor with a beautiful view and deck overlooking Lake Martin. Open concept living with a flat screen tv, electric fireplace and dining table for 4. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Grill out on the back deck, play yard games, kayak or paddle board in the lake (2 of each provided), play a board game, go fishing, sip a cocktail on your deck overlooking the lake.

Please take note that this townhome does not have a washer and dryer or air conditioning (we do have fans and with the northern Michigan weather and shaded space it is usually an enjoyable temperature).

Children are welcome, but the space may not be suitable with the open staircase and fireplace- please use your discretion.

Main guest must be 25 to book this property.

We had such a wonderful stay at this Vrbo! The property was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was well-equipped for the size, the beds were cozy, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We especially liked the peaceful back patio.The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and communication effortless. You can tell they really care about their guests’ experience. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Perfect stay for our ski weekend!

This was the perfect place for our long weekend to enjoy some skiing. It had everything we needed and we could even DoorDash a meal to us when we didn’t want to cook. The beds were cozy, plenty of amenities and a great location. We would stay again and recommend.

Wonderful home

This little quaint place provides the comfort and warmth required for skiing in upper Michigan. We brought our 4 children 14, 16, 19, and 22 and it suited us so much better than a hotel. Support was wonderful with the correct info at right time, not too pesty. Love this place!

Great Location

This home was a great midpoint location for our ski trip to Boyne Mountain and to convenient shopping and restaurants in Gaylord. The home was very clean and the furnishings were well thought out to comfortably accommodate a lot of people for sleeping, playing games & watching movies.

Quiet Lake Life!

Perfect setting for family of six. Condo was a idealistic central location to explore northern Michigan. Once back in Gaylord, the lake, patio, and grill were relaxing end of afternoon and evening gathering with family for dinner. Potential winter adventures destination for the family! Host was prompt with communication.

Quaint Property - Beautiful area..

The property was adorable. It was a townhouse that had views of the water and easy access to Gaylord. Property managers / owner had great communication. Master BR was big and very cozy. Everything we needed was at out fingers tips. They even had coffee available which is a huge must for me because we get in late most of our trips. We hate to go find coffee in the morning. A++++

Lovely, very clean and quiet condo not far from Otsego Ski resort. We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable beds. A few tips for winter visitors 
. hilly approach when you first turn into area and another hill as you turn off into the condo complex lane so if there has been a lot of recent snow 
 need all wheel drive. We saw a front wheel only small ford get stuck and have to call tow truck. All of the snow pack turned this condo complex road into a one car at time one lane road only. There is stairs and walk down to condo very snow covered not appropriate for elderly or wheel chairs. In summer there may be a ramp path but did not see one under all that snow. Not the property owners fault
 I’m sure complex hires snow removal folks but snow removal was not done well as much of lot was mid calf deep in snow. stairs were snow packed and slippery. We all had good boots and no handicaps so the snowy lot, stairs and trail through snow covered trees to the condo door was sort of magical. But for the elderly or handicap it would be problematic. No great indoor storage for snowboard or skis so we left ours on the porch as it is very quiet and seemed safe. No one touched our stuff. Very nice place. Great use of space as it seemed much larger than advertised square feet. High recommend.

Great Little Condo!

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for three nights while on a ski trip to Boyne Mountain Resort. It was perfect for us. Good communication with the owner, check in and out was easy, and the location was great. 15-20 minute drive to skiing at Boyne. Wonderful view of the lake, two bathrooms was helpful, everything was clean. Enjoyed pizza at the Railroad Grill. Location was close to Gaylord if we needed anything (which we did run in to Meijer for a few items). Perfect for the three of us.

I was surprised that the heat was turned down to 50 degrees,very musty, as well as the seats were not glued to the actual chairs in the dining area, there was a huge tear in the sofa, dead plants outside, and rotting wood, and the deck in the back did not have a secure hand railing, would have been nice to have had the Wi-Fi info and the tv didn’t work..2nd time there but without basic improvements, I don’t think I would go back.

Our review

We had a great time. Only complaint was no fire pit. Others had but this place did not. Power went out one evening too and had no flashlights/candles/lanterns other than our phones. Would be nice for an emergency contact list for the area. Upstairs toilet ran all the time. Lights over kitchen sink went off and on by themselves may want an electrician to look at. More than one kitchen towel would be nice too.

Chemical smell

Unit smelled so strongly of chemical cleaning products that I was unable to stay there even one night. Went through all of the proper channels to make them aware of the problem. Owner was inflexible and unwilling to discuss any kind of resolution. Owner disagreed, refused to refund any money and then started making false accusations. Vrbo customer service was no help. They always refer back to the owner for refund. As a renter you have no protection if an owner decides they don’t want to give you a refund. End result, I am out the whole rental fee for two weeks. Could have been resolved. You have been warned.

Awesome Cabin

House was very clean and well kept. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Location was also close to downtown’s restaurants and bars. Would certainly rent this house again and would recommend to anyone looking to rent We will be back for sure!

Relaxing stay

An Outstanding experience. Owner was very responsive to messages and questions both leading up to and during our stay. House was very clean. Good space inside. The view, in my opinion was even better in person. Very nice, quiet place. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone visiting the area! Thanks, and we’ll be back again.

Wonderful stay

I was a little skeptical based on an earlier review. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was to be out in the middle of nature on a peaceful lake, with no chemical smell at all. It was clean and fresh, and a delightful place to spend a mini vacation away. We will be back!

Quiet and Peaceful

This is a great rental. Very relaxing. The condo had everything that we needed. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the view of the lake was beautiful. We will be back.

Very Pleased

Very nice property that has been recently renovated. Although there were a few details left to complete, it was very clean and fit our needs of a place to crash perfectly. Very pleased with our stay, and would recommend it for someone who is looking to get into the woods and away from the rat race.
