Great for large group travel with lots of privacy -- quintessential New Mexico style home with tall columns and viga ceilings offering stunning 180 views of the Sandia Mountains! Wake up to a beautiful sunrise and magnificent hot air balloons in the morning! This beautiful 4bedroom, 4 bath home is conveniently located to shopping while simultaneously feels private! Perfect for vacationing families and groups, or world travelers!
This beautiful home in Rio Rancho was the perfect location for our Albuquerque and Santa Fe getaway. Our primary destination was the annual Balloon Fiesta, and that certainly was fantastic, to say the least. This vacation home was a 20-25 minute drive to the festival grounds. In addition to the layout of the house, the comfortable bedrooms and living room, the gorgeous kitchen, and the pool table, what was most relaxing was standing out in front of the house in the morning hours with a cup of coffee and watching the mass ascension of balloons in the horizon. One day we saw a double rainbow! The house is central to many activities in and around Albuquerque, and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It is also close to grocery stores and restaurants. The communication with Melanie was seamless, and she was quick to respond to inquiries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Melanie, for opening up your house to us. It made our stay in New Mexico very memorable!
This place is amazing! This was a work trip and everyone was impressed. Views are breathtaking. Front row seat to balloons. Comfortable and fabulous. The house is exceptionally clean. Everything needed for a great stay is there. It got so good, we didnât want to leave for work each day. Chefâs kiss!!
Plenty of room, even for a dozen people. We never felt crowded with plenty of outdoor spaces, natural light from the large windows and very high ceilings. Responses from management were top notch. Fast responses to questions, even at odd hours. The view of the Sandias and almost daily hot air balloon launches were great. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that the outdoor furniture was a little tired and there wasn't enough of it for a large crowd. Granted the climate is tough on everything outdoors. The large yard had some wonderful foundational roses and shrubs that attracted scores of hummingbirds and there was no shortage of other interesting wildlife about (all minding their own business). However, it could use a bit of maintenance to really make the property perfect. We were all sad to leave, but we will be back.
The house is very nice and functional
Facing the Sandia Mountains and enjoying sunrise was especially fine.
The kitchen and the rooms were clean with good furniture. Nothing negative on the bathrooms either.
The house sits in a developing neighborhood, with other houses nearby and also land.
Our experience was overall excellent once in the house (check in/out instructions, location, rooms, ...), one comment for VRBO though : when we booked the house, it was not mentioned that the host handles the reservation process through another platform + imposes a background check (which costs 33 $). All of this should have been mentioned on VRBO.
Beautiful house with a great layout and even better views. The house has modern amenities with wonderful southwestern architecture and design.
Would stay there again next time we are in town
We had a lovely stay during our spring break trip in New Mexico. The home was perfectly laid out for my family of 5.
We had all of the essentials we needed to cook meals. The location was great and very close to attractions such as the Petroglyph National Monument.
We would not hesitate to book the home again.
My family chose this property to celebrate my father's 85th birthday. We wanted a place that was comfortable and big enough for all of us to spend most of the weekend there. This was a perfect fit!
The property is exactly as shown on the photos. It was well appointed and had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the hot air balloons rise just outside the front window in the morning and spent much of our day playing a pool tournament.
Melanie was a gracious host and was quick to respond to our questions. Check in and check out were a breeze. We would be happy to stay there again with our entire family.
HelloâŠWhen traveling, we love local experiences and sightseeing the local neighborhood.
As a host, we bring passion and thought to the homes that we host. Thereâs a story and connection with every home we host. We want our guest stay to be enjoyable and they can feel the love that we brought to the home.
180 degrees view of Sandia Mountains. As a added bonus, from the master bedroom youâll wake up to a beautiful sunrise with hot air balloons scattered in the sky. One of the best view in town. At night youâll see the city lights. Long driveway is great for RV parking and multiple vehicles. Feels secluded but very close to shops and more.
