As pet owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to have clear guidelines. When pets are included in a reservation request, we provide all relevant policies in our rental agreement, which is available for review before booking. During peak summer months, we kindly ask that pets not be allowed in the upstairs bedrooms unless guests bring their own pet bedding and keep them off the beds. This helps us avoid the need for deep cleaning and manage tight turnovers between back-to-back bookings during peak summer. We never charge extra cleaning fees for pets and rely on the cooperation of our guests to keep the space clean for everyone. Most of our guests bring their pets along, and they always have a great time enjoying the cottage together! We’re also grateful you found the safety guidelines in our welcome booklet helpful. Guest safety is a top priority for us. While the shoreline is shallow and ideal for play (as shown in our video), we always encourage guests to exercise caution when participating in water sports or activities in the deeper parts of the lake.
