L'yle Ila Lake Front Retreat
Soak up the sun and relax by the lake at L'yle Ila, a beautifully remodeled three bedroom, two bath home that comfortably sleeps 6. This lakefront home has direct water access (stair entry) and spectacular views with a deck overlooking 120 feet of Lake Erie shoreline. Enjoy swimming in the shallow water and relaxing on the beach. Relax at dusk listening to the sound of waves as you watch the evening sunset. This large, open concept home has everything needed for a perfect vacation getaway.
Under new management for 2025 so there are no reviews but previously a 5 star property that is sure to please.
The open concept main floor shows off the spacious living room and dining areas with large windows facing the lake. The living room is equipped with a cozy stone gas fireplace, TV, high speed internet and DVD.
The newly remodeled kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances including fridge, glass top stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender and more. Family or friends can gather around the kitchen island as you prepare meals, enjoy a coffee or beverage.
There are three large bedrooms and two 3 piece bathrooms.
Bed and bath layout is as follows:
Upper Level:
Bedroom 1 - Master Suite with Queen bed and spectacular waterfront view
Ensuite Bathroom - 3 Piece bath with double sinks and walk in shower.
Main Floor:
Bedroom 2 â Queen Bed with waterfront view and patio doors to the covered sitting area.
Bedroom 3 â Queen bed with patio doors to the front deck
This home has central air conditioning and a water purification system.
The home is located on an easy-to-reach road with parking for two (2) vehicles.
Note: Beach and water conditions on Lake Erie can vary significantly throughout the year, influenced by changing weather patterns. There is no guarantee that the conditions will be ideal for swimming during your stay. Depending upon the year, the water levels can vary.
TOTAL Maximum Occupancy is 6 guests. Please note this home cannot accommodate more than 6 guests including infants and children due to Town of Wainfleet rules in the approved rental licence. This home is best enjoyed by traveling families and we do not make considerations for large group of young adults.

Great location as you're only a few minutes away from Port Colborne Golf Course and Country club. Consider a day trip into Toronto (only 1.5 hours by car) and check out a Toronto Blue Jays game, Ripleyâs Aquarium or Canadaâs Wonderland.
Other Things to Note:
Upon confirming your booking, you will be emailed a rental agreement for review and signature. Highlights of the agreement include:
- The Town of Wainfleet Bi-Law requires the owner or operator shall maintain a register that contains the name and address of the Renter(s) and the names of any other Person or Persons who occupy the Premises overnight
- We respectfully ask that you treat our home with respect and consider it as your home away from home and remain considerate of the neighbours always.
- Our cottage is in a residential area and local bylaws require quiet between the hours of 10pm to 8am.
- The Renter whose name the reservation is made is responsible for the conduct of all those using or occupying the vacation property and/or its grounds throughout the duration of their stay.
- When you are not in the house and upon final departure, guests must close and lock all windows and doors. In addition, upon final departure, the Renter must ensure that all food and beverages are removed from the rental property including cabinets, refrigerators and freezers. Failure to remove these items may result in additional cleaning fees
- Renters are liable for all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them or as a result of their negligence or caused by or as a result of negligence by anyone permitted on the property during their stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside
- Small, outdoor fires are permitted in the provided fire pit area.
- The BBQ is available for your use seasonally (May-October) and runs on propane. Please do not move the BBQ to another location on the property and please always double check to make sure it is turned off after every use.
- Please note that absolutely no other items other than bathroom tissue are to be flushed down the toilet. ANYTHING other than bathroom tissue should be placed in the garbage. Any misuse could result in plumbing issues and service calls or repairs will be charged back to the client.
