Great location walking distance to many restaurants, bars and Jazzfest! 2 blocks from the bayou to have a refreshing morning walk around the water. Centrally located to downtown New Orleans for an easy Uber/Lyft drive to the Quarter or a 1/2 mile walk to the streetcar. Very comfy 2 room, newly renovated suite, with large bathroom for a quiet night's rest after fun in the City!

Amazing Stay

We had a great time here! Great location for Jazz Fest. There was a little bit of noise but it got quiet at bed time so it was never any worries! Such a cute property!

Nice property, well kept and looks just like the photos. Easy directions for entry. bed is a bit soft for our liking but not a deal breaker at all. Owner very responsive to our messages. well appointed, with some lagniappe :) we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

Perfect for family visit

My wife and I stayed here to visit our kids who live in the neighborhood. All we needed was a clean, comfortable place to sleep in the neighborhood and it fit the bill. Could we hear the folks on the other side of the house? Absolutely! Pretty much like any shotgun house in the area though. It was reasonably priced and suited us perfectly.

Lovely stay in the Big Easy

This lovely suite was wonderful. It was decorated very tastefully. We have stayed in several VRBOs in New Orleans over the past 15 years and this suite had the best bathroom of them all..gorgeous and spacious. The location was great, very easy to get around the city from this location. We had no trouble parking. The only thing I would add is a small microwave to heat up all the good leftovers from eating out. Thank you Maria for providing such a lovely suite.

Excellent spot in midcity/bayou st. john

Great location if you are familiar with the city, close to everything mid-city and bayou st. john. Cozy bed and large bathroom were great while we were visiting friends and family. Ideal for a solo traveler or a couple. Minor things that keep it from being a perfect experience: Opening the gate and walking down the side of the house in the rain (no one controls the weather, so no complaint about the rain!) was really challenging (wood gate expands and the runoff from the roof is right in the middle of the walkway). An extra doormat would be ideal inside for folks to wipe their shoes. Other minor concern for other fat travelers, has a pretty narrow set of steps up to the door.

Lack of quietness

The place was very clean. The parking was a bit hectic and the streets were a little tore up. My biggest complaint was the noise. We could hear all the footsteps coming from upstairs from them just walking and it was loud. The entry way for the people upstairs was quite loud . The door to our place was adjoined to their corridor and it made for some noise.

Every detail including location was perfect!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely rental in MidCity, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The location was perfect for attending Jazzfest, as it was within walking distance to the fairgrounds. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the attention to detail that the host had put into making sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with every amenity I could possibly need. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft and clean. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of fluffy towels and the necessities of high-end toiletries. The closet was fully equipped with a coffee maker and even some local snacks and drinks that the host had kindly left for us. The host was very quiet. They provided me with a helpful guide to the neighborhood and some recommendations for local restaurants and bars. Overall, I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay close to the city, whether for Jazzfest or any other occasion. It was truly a five-star experience in every way!
