This property was awesome! Very lovely accomodations. It is in a great location where you can walk to all of the local attractions. I highly recommend staying here!
This place was absolutely amazing. Super cool building, walking distance to tons of great restaurants, bars, WWII museum, you name it. Very comfortable accommodations to boot. Would recommend 10/10 times!
Vacay NOLA and their manager Barbara were fantastic, everything worked perfectly. Apartment was as advertised and it is in a good position, very close to the French Quarter.
Great location, great apartment, absolutely loved it!
Stayed with a couple of friends (4 total) and the space was perfect. Great location a few short block walk from the French Quarter with a nice sized balcony. We loved the decor and all of the little touches. Contact with the host couldn't have been easier.
We had a delightful 4-day stay in Front Page News. The condo is spacious and beautifully decorated, well-suited for two couples, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for walking to the French Quarter or catching a trolley on Canal Street and we never needed our cars. Barbara made the booking process easy, including adding a day to our original stay, and ensured we had all the information we needed. We would love to stay there again.
Great location, easy walking to the water front, Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street and all the surrounding fun! The trolley stops are just a couple blocks over on Canal, so catch the Green line to the Garden district! The place is fantastic, updated, clean and the balcony puts it over the top. To qualify the walking, it was my wife and I (50) and my parents (mid 70's), fairly in shape, and we walked pretty much everywhere.
Lovely place. Very comfortable. The gallery was lots of fun - watched a wedding parade dance by! Near enough to everything so we didn't bother with a car. Would highly recommend.
It was nice to have the fresh air out on the balcony. Not much of a view because it was such a commercial area. However, we loved everything about te property
Staying in the middle of all of the sounds and people of the French Quarter is a rookie mistake. This property was a very short walk to the middle of all the action, but far enough away that the noise would not keep you awake all night.
The property itself was immaculate. The pictures make it seem smaller than it actually was plenty of room. Balcony was a bonus!!! We spent each morning drinking coffee and reading the paper before we started our day.
The owner was great with communications not only before our trip, but also during our stay, and after we checked out.
Now let me answer your real question, "Is it safe?" This condo is in the warehouse district. Four blocks from Bourbon Street. Plenty of friendly people walking at all times of day and night. At no time did my wife and I feal threatened in any manner. You use a code to get in main door and then another code to get into the residence. Well lit area away from all the craziness.
The block featured the Commerce Diner for breakfast and lunch as well as the Q&C Bar for a late dinner. A full convivence store was just steps away. I will stay here again next time I travel to NOLA.
Weâve been to NOLA many times, lived here for a while in â98/â99 and had an apartment in the Warehouse district. Weâve stayed all over, up off St. Charles, down in the Quarter and in the Garden district. This was the most convenient location and has a great balcony for enjoying that 3-6pm âdownâ time you need in NOLA to recharge your batteries. The condo was clean and comfortable, access was secure and so many places within a 2-3 block radius that are worth checking out! Well definitely consider this location for our next NOLA trip!
If you want an oasis in the bustle of NOLA - this is it! Conveniently located, clean, modern, spacious, QUIET! Super accessible for my 90 year old mother. I have stayed at a number of hotels on Canal Street and will NEVER stay at them again knowing that this gem is just 2 blocks away.
The space was amazing, centrally located to all the things we were looking to do, and realizing the decor was really telling the history of the building was intriguing to learnâŠhave already talked about staying here again on a future trip to the area.
Had such a very nice stay at this property. It was my family of 4, including two teenagers. The condo was plenty big for everyone to have their own space. We all loved the balcony, whether it was to eat a meal together, have coffee before everyone wakes, enjoy a glass of wine, read a book, or just people-watch. The decor was lovely in all rooms and the whole place was stocked with any and everything you could possibly need. Kitchen was wonderful with all the amenities and lots of bar seating, plus a high top table that seats 4. Condo felt safe and secure, and was really convenient to many tourist areas. Just a few blocks to Canal Street and the street cars. Walking distance to Smoothie King Center. Walking distance to French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Walking distance to the River Walk. Plenty of local coffee shops and restaurants within a block or two. Such a great location for couples, families, girls or guys weekends. Canât say enough about how this place made our New Orleans trip so easy and so much fun.
Great unit in good location. Easy access to transit
Beautifully appointed unit with all amenities. Would suggest adding over-the-air TV so those without streaming services can access some entertainment in inclement weather
Super great location, friendly and informative property manager, fun balcony, close to everything! Clean and modern appliances. Spacious and quiet. Will rent this unit again!
Great location. Everything was clean and the condo had the necessary amenities. I heard zero noise from anyone else in the building, and the bedrooms remain completely dark until you are ready to turn on the lights in the morning. The balcony was very nice, although there is a low windowsill that you have to step over to get onto it (this looks to be common in this city). Overall we loved the property and will definitely stay here again when we return to New Orleans.
Great location for being able to experience the French quarter without having to stay in the French Quarter. It takes about 5 minutes on foot to be in the thick of things. I highly recommend parking in the parking garage across the street and just paying the daily rate for the entirety of the stay. Itâs actually pretty convenient as far as parking goes, the only thing is it does get a little pricey. All in all, it was a great stay. Very clean and spacious. Barbara was very responsive and gave us some good tips. We would definitely stay here again.
